A control method for a hybrid work machine that includes an internal combustion engine that drives a working unit, and a generator motor connected to the internal combustion engine and transfers and receives electric power to/from a power storage device, the control method includes: determining whether a situation is at a time of an output limitation in which an output of the internal combustion engine is limited; at the time of the output limitation, limiting an assist operation of supplying the electric power stored in the power storage device to the generator motor in a case of increasing an output of the internal combustion engine based on a work request for the working unit at a time of working; and controlling the internal combustion engine and the generator motor in a state in which the assist operation is limited.
HYBRID VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A hybrid vehicle includes an internal combustion engine, a filter, an electrical storage device, a rotating electric machine, and a controller. The filter is configured to trap particulate matter in exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine. The rotating electric machine is configured to generate electric power using power from the internal combustion engine so as to charge the electrical storage device, and drive the internal combustion engine using electric power from the electrical storage device. The controller is configured to control the internal combustion engine and the rotating electric machine, so as to warm up the electrical storage device when regeneration control needs to be performed and when the temperature of the electrical storage device is lower than a reference value. The regeneration control is control for raising the temperature of the filter to a predetermined temperature so as to burn the particulate matter. The controller may be configured to execute the regeneration control when the temperature of the electrical storage device exceeds the reference value.

When a starting point water temperature Twst is equal to or lower than a threshold value Twref1, catalyst warm-up control is executed, and when a cooling water temperature Tw becomes higher than the threshold value Twref1 or an operation time top of an engine becomes equal to or higher than a threshold value topref1, the control of the engine is shifted from the catalyst warm-up control to normal control. When the starting point water temperature Twst is higher than the threshold value Twref1 and is equal to or lower than a threshold value Twref2, PN suppression control is executed, and when the cooling water temperature Tw of the engine becomes higher than the threshold value Twref2 or the operation time top of the engine becomes equal to or higher than a threshold value topref2, the control of the engine is shifted from the PN suppression control to the normal control.
Method of controlling a vehicle operation
A computer implemented method controls vehicle operation. The vehicle has vehicle components operable by processing circuitry based on predicted user behavior. The method includes receiving, by the processing circuitry, a signal indicative of a current user behavior for a user currently operating the vehicle; comparing, by the processing circuitry, the current user behavior with a predicted user behavior. When a difference between the current user behavior and the predicted user behavior is above a predetermined threshold limit: new user behavior based on the current user behavior is formed and operation of at least one of the vehicle components is controlled using the new user behavior.
