Exercise ball chair
The exercise ball chair stabilizes an exercise ball so that it can be used as a comfortable chair. While seated in the exercise ball chair, a user may perform seated-workout exercises. The exercise ball chair comprises a left support, a right support, and a ball retainer. The ball retainer pivots between a ball retention position and a ball release position. An exercise ball is placed in the chair such that the left support, the right support, and the ball retainer, in the ball retention position, capture the exercise ball and prevent it from rolling. A user may then sit on the exercise ball. A left adjustment knob and a right adjustment knob allow the ball retainer to be locked to prevent it from pivoting. With the adjustment knobs loosened, the ball retainer may be pivoted to the ball release position and the exercise ball may be removed.
Stability ball case
The objective of the present invention is to provide a stability ball case configured to store a stability ball therein and, especially, having a weight thereon to prevent the stored stability ball from rolling, thereby avoiding a safety accident that may happen when the stability ball rolls and drops, as well as storing the stability ball at a desired place in a safe and convenient manner. Particularly, another objective of the present invention is to provide a stability ball case configured such that a weight can be attached to and detached from a body constituting the case, whereby the weight can be separated from the body when the case is washed, or when the stability ball is carried, thereby enabling the stability ball case to be safely used and stored, as well as being conveniently used.
System, method and program product for monitoring the use of an exercise ball by a user and exercise ball which can be used in such a system
Disclosed are an exercise ball as well as a system, method and computer program product for monitoring the use of the exercise ball by a user. An exemplary system comprises: a first data processing unit; an exercise ball comprising a shell and a monitoring unit operatively associated with the shell, said monitoring unit comprising at least one sensor for detecting a parameter representative of the movement of the exercise ball by the user, the first data processing unit being configured to determine and provide the user with data representative of the use of the exercise ball by the user based on parameters representative of the movement of the exercise ball by the user detected by said at least one sensor.
BASE APPARATUS FOR ROTATING A FITNESS BALANCE DEVICE
A base apparatus for accommodating and rotating a fitness balance device for a balance workout routine is provided. The base apparatus comprises a bottom member, a ball bearing plate, a top member, a fastening mechanism, and multiple ball bearings. The ball bearings are disposed in a circular track located on an upper surface of the bottom member. The ball bearing plate is disposed between the bottom member and the top member. Each peripheral hole in the ball bearing plate is configured to accommodate a ball bearing. The top member is in communication with and disposed above the ball bearing plate, and is slidably fastened to the bottom member by the fastening mechanism. The top member comprises a collar for accommodating the fitness balance device, and is configured to rotate relative to the bottom member with the movement of the ball bearings in the circular track of the bottom member.
Systems and Methods for Exercise Guidance and Tracking
Systems and methods are provided for guiding a participant through a fitness experience or workout. The participant is provided access to an exercise area at a fitness facility, with the exercise area comprising several exercise or game modules. At each module, the participant engages in a customized exercise or game that is tailored to the participant's fitness level or to key fitness elements that the participant is expected to work on. An instructor may program each module with a type and difficulty of game that is appropriate for the participant, and the participant's activities and results are tracked over time and reported to both the instructor and the participant.
Resilient exercise article
A resilient exercise article includes an outer surface defining an interior chamber. The article comprises outward being one of a spherical shape, an ovoid shape or a double ovoid shape, at least one circumferential groove defined in the outer surface, and a bore extending axially through the article.
Ball chair
A ball chair may comprise a chair frame, a ball body and an adjusting unit. The chair frame has a connecting base and a legs base, and a supporting column formed therebetween is configured to achieve a telescopic action thereby adjusting a height of the ball chair. The connecting base is formed in a concave shape to form a housing space therein, and an annular frame is formed at an upper end of the connecting base. The ball body is configured to be coupled on the connecting base of the chair frame, and the annular frame is configured to couple with an outer periphery of the ball body thereby limiting a position thereof. As a result, the ball chair is suitable for different statures of users and enables the users to sit thereon for training or rehabilitation.
RESPONSIVE TRAINING DEVICE
An exemplary responsive training device for responding to user interaction with the device can be provided. For example, the responsive training device can be configured with a surface enclosing a compressible body. The responsive training device can further embed at least one sensor configured to sense a deformation of the compressible body and to generate a sensory output to a controller. The responsive training device can also embed a controller configured to control at least one transponder. Furthermore, the exemplary responsive training device can embed at least one transponder configured to provide an audio output and/or a visual output as a function of the sensor output.
MODIFIED ELASTIC GYM BALL
A modified elastic gym ball includes a hollow spherical body, a plurality of first polygonal column bumps and a plurality of second polygonal column bumps. The hollow spherical body has an outer surface. The plurality of first polygonal column bumps and the plurality of second polygonal column bumps are individually protruded from the outer surface by a first protrusive height and a second protrusive height different from the first protrusive height, respectively.
Multi-layer inflatable toy and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention discloses a multi-layer inflatable toy and a manufacturing method thereof. The toy comprises a liner, an intermediate layer and a surface covering; the liner is filled with air, and the intermediate layer is arranged between the liner and the surface covering; the liner is made of rubber material, and the intermediate layer and the surface covering are made of flexible material or elastic material; and the intermediate layer may be of a single-layer or multi-layer structure. In the present invention, a pet toy of a multi-layer structure is manufactured by using a liner inflating process, so that the product is light and can float on water, thus the problem that the toy cannot be retrieved or used continuously after falling into water is avoided, and the harm to people and objects by throwing is avoided.
