INTELLIGENT BALL WITH MULTIPLE AIRBAGS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
An intelligent ball with multiple airbags that the inner container is disposed with inner films, the inner film is used to fix the electric pieces. The electric pieces are clamped by the connecting of the inner film and the encasing film, such that the electric pieces are assembled in the ball, particularly at the central position of the inner container even in the center, such that the weight center is balanced. A manufacturing method that the inner container is manufactured by overlapping and bonding, the inner films, the inner film and the encasing film, the ball surfaces, the recharging component and the inner container are respectively high frequency bonded therebetween.
System and Method for Measuring Speed, Spin Rate, and Accuracy of a Sporting Device
A system and method for measuring motion properties of a movable object, such as a sporting device, wherein the movable object has an embedded magnetized unit creating a magnetic field. A measurement device, having a first magnetic field sensor positioned a known distance away from a second magnetic field sensor, is positioned in the vicinity of the movable object's trajectory, whereby the first and second magnetic field sensors output signals when the movable object passes within their respective proximities. A control module, that is responsive to the output signals created by the magnetic field sensors, is configured to record the times of output signal events. The control module is further configured to calculate motion properties, such as the speed and rate of spin, of the movable object based upon the recorded times of various sensor output events and the known distance between the first and second magnetic field sensors.
Interchangeable Sports Ball Kicking Training Apparatus
An interchangeable sports training apparatus for training user's how to kick sports balls. The apparatus includes a base including a mounting bracket for mounting the base onto a surface. A height-adjustable support arm affixed to the base includes a swivel rotatably coupled thereto, such that the swivel is configured to rotate 360 degrees about the support arm. A swing arm coupled to the swivel includes a quick-release mechanism configured to releasably engage a sports ball retaining bracket and a first fastener. A height-adjustable return arm includes a second fastener configured to releasably engage the first fastener of the swing arm, in order to hold the training apparatus in a ready position for kicking, and includes a return member configured to stop rotation of the swing arm and return the swing arm to the ready position.
Sports Balls with tracker
The present invention is a device and system for a new type of sport ball or gadget ball that turns various basketballs or other athletic balls into smart products. The ball will have internal mechanisms that are digital in nature and will help translate information about the ball and/or its position in space to referees or officials. The current invention is a ball that can be used in team play and multiple game modes for recording play by play actions between players and teams.
SPORTS BALL, BAT, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A sports ball for use in baseball-type games includes a hollow, substantially spherical plastic ball that has a plurality of substantially planar, intersecting regions covering an outer surface thereof. Preferably the ball also has a weight that is substantially less than a weight of a regulation baseball, for enhancing safety in use. The sports system further includes a bat for use with the ball, or with any similar ball, preferably a plastic ball. The bat is a hollow, elongated member that has a handle portion adjacent a bottom end and a barrel portion between the handle portion and a top end. The bat further has a sheath surrounding at least a portion of the barrel portion. The sheath has a coefficient of friction higher than a coefficient of friction of a surface of the barrel portion, for imparting traction to a struck ball.
Instrumented sports paraphernalia system
A system for measuring and displaying the pressure of conventional American-style footballs in real time to game officials and spectators continuously. The value of the football's pressure is measured by physical contact with a Durometer and calculated using a CPU configured with software. Game officials may view the football's pressure locally. A transceiver device continuously transmits the value of the football's pressure, ID, time and date to remote receivers where game officials and spectators may continuously monitor the football's pressure remotely.
FLYING TOY FOR THROWING OR CATCHING
A flying toy for throwing and/or catching includes an elongated body forming a fuselage. The body extends along a longitudinal axis from a front end to a rear end. A lift-generating wing is non-movably attached in relation to the body. A horizontal stabilizer is disposed at or near the rear end of the body, where the horizontal stabilizer disposed behind the lift-generating wing. A vertical stabilizer is disposed at or near the rear end of the body, where the vertical stabilizer is disposed behind the lift-generating wing. A push surface is attached to the body and extends perpendicular in relation to the longitudinal axis. The push surface faces towards the rear end of the body. The push surface allows a user to push the flying toy forward when thrown.
AUTOGRAPH HOCKEY PUCK WITH REMOVABLE WRITING UTENSIL
A sports implement for obtaining autographs, having a core, a hole in the core having an open end and a closed bottom end, a housing disposed within the hole further comprising a latch, a spring, and a stop rim. The implement further includes a cap rotatably and slidably disposed within the housing comprising a first position wherein the cap compresses the spring toward the closed bottom end and a second position wherein the spring urges the cap against the stop rim, and a writing utensil removably coupled with the cap and rotationally coupled with the housing, further comprising a striker selectively interfacing with the latch.
Abdominal exercise device
An abdominal exercise device is used to exercise and strengthen core muscles. The device includes a hinged frame, a first plurality of rolling supports, a second plurality of rolling supports and a rocking base. The first plurality of rolling supports and the second plurality of rolling supports are connected along the hinged frame laterally opposite each other. Together, the hinged frame, the first plurality of rolling supports and the second plurality of rolling supports are used to interact and brace portions of the user's back as the user performs an exercise. The rocking base is connected to the hinged frame and is used as a pivot point about which the user and the rest of the device can rock, tilt, or rotate. A frame-grasping assembly is mounted to the hinged frame. The frame-grasping assembly allows the user to hold onto the device and maintain stability while performing exercises.
Game Ball Monitoring System
A system for monitoring the position of ball during a game. The game ball monitoring system includes a plurality of boundary sensors that are placed along the boundary lines of a sports field. The boundary sensors form the boundary lines of the sports field, wherein a representation of the boundary line is relayed to and presented on a display screen. The game ball monitoring system further includes a ball having a GPS chip and transceiver securable thereto in order to transmit the position of the ball to the display. The display allows a user to view the boundary line of the playing field via information received from the sensors and the ball relative to the boundary line. A logic within the display determines if the ball is within or outside of the bounds of the boundary line in order to allow for accurate out-of-bounds calls to be made.
