The method also includes creating a water/sugar mixture and adding 1/10th of the water/sugar mixture to the fermentation tanks each day for 10 days and collecting the macerated oil on day 21 and collecting the infused alcohol on day 21.

Methods and systems for forming a concentrate from an alcoholic beverage, such as a beverage made by fermentation processes. A membrane process may be used to reduce water and alcohol content, followed by freeze concentration to further reduce water content.

A system and method for the purification of beverage fluids, primarily alcohol beverages, based on the action of hydrodynamic cavitation processing of microbiological and chemical contaminants, micro particles and colloidal particles. The system is a batch system with a single vessel having an extraction tube and discharge tube extending into the same reservoir of fluid. Fluid is drawn through the extraction tube and forced through the discharge tube. The discharge tube contains cavitation elements dispersed along its length to generate hydrodynamic cavitation in the fluid as it is pumped through. The discharge fluid is mixed with the fluid already in the vessel and is re-drawn through the extraction tube in continuous batch processing.

A multi-stage filtration apparatus (100) for heterogeneous food admixtures comprises supply means (I1) for introducing a input heterogeneous admixture (All) being introduced to the multi-stage filtration apparatus (100), a pre-filtration station (M1) which is intended to receive the input heterogeneous admixture (All) being introduced and to separate it into a first admixture portion (Filtr1) and a residual solid admixture portion (Sol1), a filtration station (M2) comprising at least one tangential filter (F1) which is provided to separate from the first admixture portion (Filtr1) a concentrated suspension portion (Concentrata) and a final filtered portion (Finale), at least one supply device (I2) which is provided to circulate the first admixture portion (Filtr1) in the filtration station (M2). The pre-filtration station (M1) comprises at least one vibrating sieve (V1) in order to separate the heterogeneous admixture (All).

The invention relates to methods for producing flavor stable beverages. The methods involve reducing the level of one or more amino acids, and in particular the level of methionine. The level of amino acids may be reduced by a number of different methods, for example by increasing the level of acid or base and removal of said acid or base by Reverse Electro-Enhanced Dialysis. The level of amino acids may also be reduced by treatment with an oxidizing agent, such as H.sub.2O.sub.2. The invention also comprises combinations of such methods.
