Method of making a microelectronic device
This invention relates to a method for producing an electrical system comprising a support (1) bearing on a first face at least one device; with the device comprising at least one electronic component (2) provided with at least one electrical connector (21, 22), with the method comprising: a step of setting in place of a cover (6) positioned above the component; said cover (6) comprising at least one passage (61, 62) according to a dimension in thickness of the cover (6) in such a way as to form an access space to the at least one electrical connector (21, 22), a step of forming a sealing seam (71) in such a way that the component is encapsulated in a sealed cavity (9) delimited by the first face of the support (1), the first face of the cover (6) and the sealing seam (7). The method comprises a step of filling with a conductive material of is at least one passage (61, 62) of the cover (6) in such a way as to establish an electrical continuity between the conductive material and the at least one electrical connector (21, 22), formant a tapping (81, 82) and in that the sealing seam (7) comprises a dielectric material.
Display apparatus and portable terminal
A display apparatus includes a first base plate, a second base plate coupled to the first base plate to allow the second base plate to be rotated on the basis of a rotation axis between the first base plate and the second base plate, a moving plate coupled to the second base plate and configured to slide along a first direction with respect to the second base plate, a pop-up plate configured to move along a second direction corresponding to a thickness direction of the second base plate on the second base plate in accordance with a movement of the moving plate, and a display panel including a first portion coupled to the first base plate and a second portion coupled to the moving plate.
Modular alert system
The present invention provides methods and systems for a modular alert system that includes at least two modules having a top portion and a bottom portion. The modules provide an alarm for one or more monitored conditions, and the bottom portion and the top portion of one module contains mating features. A mounting plate that has a top portion and a bottom portion contains mounting features, and the mounting features of the bottom portion correspond to the mounting features of the top portion of one module for forming a selectively secured arrangement. The system may also include at least one speaker housed within the module, and a smoke detector.
FACILITATING ALIGNMENT OF WIRELESS ELEMENTS FOR ULTRA SHORT RANGE WIRELESS INTERACTION
In an embodiment, an electronic device may comprise a wireless element and a pair of magnetic connectors. The magnetic connectors may be spaced apart from one another and may be in fixed relation to the wireless element. The pair of magnetic connectors may be configured to self-align with, and interconnect with, a complementary pair of magnetic connectors of another electronic device and to thereby align the wireless element with a complementary wireless element of the other electronic device for ultra short range wireless interaction between the electronic devices via the aligned wireless elements. The wireless elements may for example be antennas, coils, or electric induction couplers. The wireless interaction may for example be wireless communication or wireless power transfer. The magnetic connectors may incorporate cylindrical magnets. In an embodiment, the electronic device may have only one magnetic connector.
JOBSITE COMMUNICATIONS CENTER
A jobsite communications center including a communications module including an electrical power source, at least one speaker and at least one antenna and a toolbox-like housing for enclosing the communications module and having a handle and first and second connection assemblies, the first connection assembly enabling readily-disconnectable and reconnectable stacking interconnection of the communications center with tool boxes, the second connection assembly enabling readily-disconnectable and reconnectable mounting of the communication center on a toolbox-carrying cart in a manner similar to connection of toolboxes thereto.
Chassis drawer for modular information handling resources
A drawer for receiving components may comprise an inner member, and intermediate member, and a carrier member. The carrier member may comprise a substantially planar top generally parallel to an inner member bottom, a substantially planar bottom generally parallel to the top, a carrier spine mechanically coupled between the top and the bottom, a plurality of bays, each bay having one or more structural components for receiving a modular information handling resource and configured such that the bay is accessed for insertion or removal of the modular information handling resource via a carrier member side of the carrier member generally parallel to an inner member side, and at least one web generally parallel to the inner member sides and mechanically coupling the carrier member to the intermediate member such that when the drawer is translated to an open position, each of the plurality of bays is accessible.
Suspended segmented display array
A suspended segmented display array in one embodiment includes multiple cables offset from a wall via standoff members. Adjacent display panels attach to cables via finger releasable clamps and present varied and unique visual displays. A versatile and cost-effective display system thus is established that accommodates a wide range of content which can readily be changed out.
MODULAR ELECTROMECHANICAL DEVICE
Various embodiments of a modular electromechanical device are described herein. The modular electromechanical device includes a chassis and a plurality of functional modules that can be connected to the chassis. Each module is associated with a different functionality. The functionality of the modular electromechanical device is defined based on various attributes including the functionality of the different functional modules that are connected to the electromechanical device, the sequence in which the different functional modules are connected to the electromechanical device, the specific attachment structures used to attach the functional modules to the electromechanical device, or a pattern of traces formed within the chassis.
DISPLAY SCREEN ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME
