20230340076 · 2023-10-26 ·

A complex containing undenatured type II collagen and chitosan oligosaccharide, and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) activation: mixing a certain amount of powder or particulate matter containing undenatured type II collagen with an activating agent and storing the mixture at 0° C. to 80° C. for 1 min to 300 min; (2) sieving: sieving the mixture obtained in step (1) to remove unreacted activating agent; (3) coupling: adding chitosan oligosaccharide to the mixture obtained in step (2) in which the unreacted activating agent is removed, and dynamically mixing them at 0° C. to 80° C. for 1 min to 300 min; and (4) drying: drying the mixture obtained in step (3) and controlling the water content to be 8% or less, the resulting product being a complex containing undenatured type II collagen and chitosan oligosaccharide. This preparation method is simple to implement, with fewer operation steps and relatively high efficiency.

Purification method of fungal cell wall composition

A purification method of fungal cell wall composition includes following steps: (1) taking a residue of a fungus fruiting body underwent extraction process for obtaining extract thereof, wherein the extract contains terpenoids, sterols, polysaccharides, or a combination thereof, and the residue contains the cell wall of the fruiting body; (2) placing the residue into an aqueous percarbonate solution to form a mixture liquid, which is reacted at a first temperature for decolorizing the residue, wherein the concentration of the aqueous percarbonate solution ranges from 5 to 20% (w/v), and the first temperature ranges from 15 to 40° C.; (3) after the decolorization process, raising the temperature of the mixture liquid to a second temperature for the mixture liquid to react, so as to digest and decompose the residue, wherein the second temperature ranges from 80 to 100° C.; and (4) filtering the treated mixture liquid to obtain a purified product.

Disclosed in the present disclosure are a hydroxybutyl chitin, a hydroxybutyl chitin hydrogel and a preparation method thereof. Chitin is subjected to pulverization, dissolution, modification with epoxybutane, and purification to obtain a final product, namely the hydroxybutyl chitin. The hydroxybutyl chitin prepared by the method has good solubility in purified water, and a hydrogel with a low solid content can be formed. The hydroxybutyl chitin hydrogel will have a wide application aspect in biomedicine, absorbable materials, and other fields.

Dendritic Macroporous Hydrogels Prepared By Crystal Templating
20230383086 · 2023-11-30 ·

The present invention includes a hydrogel and a method of making a porous hydrogel by preparing an aqueous mixture of an uncrosslinked polymer and a crystallizable molecule; casting the mixture into a vessel; allowing the cast mixture to dry to form an amorphous hydrogel film; seeding the cast mixture with a seed crystal of the crystallizable molecule; growing the crystallizable molecule into a crystal structure within the uncrosslinked polymer; crosslinking the polymer around the crystal structure under conditions in which the crystal structure within the crosslinked polymer is maintained; and dissolving the crystals within the crosslinked polymer to form the porous hydrogel.

20230383016 · 2023-11-30 · ·

The invention has for object a method of selecting a composition comprising crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) and a low proportion of soluble hyaluronic acid for use in limiting the risk of appearance of an adverse side effect associated with the administration of a composition comprising crosslinked HA.

CROSS-LINKED HA BEADS, PROCESS FOR MAKING SAME AND USES
20230383017 · 2023-11-30 ·

A hyaluronic acid (HA) bead and a filler including the same, along with a process for preparing the HA beads. The process includes combining an HA compound with sodium hydroxide, forming an HA solution, and injecting the HA solution into an oil solution, forming an emulsion with HA beads. A cross-linking reagent is added and the mixture is stirred for 24 hours in room temperature, thereby forming cross-linked HA beads. The HA beads are cross-linked and adapted to dissolve in vivo upon contact with hyaluronidase.
