Xenon lamp power supply, purification device and refrigeration device
An xenon lamp power supply, a purification device, and a refrigeration device are provided. The xenon lamp power supply comprises: an input circuit, a coupling assembly, an output circuit, and a control circuit. The input circuit comprises an alternating-current input end and a direct-current output end, and the input circuit is used for converting alternating current input by the alternating-current input end into direct current output by the direct-current output end. A first end of the coupling assembly is connected to the direct-current output end. The output circuit comprises a xenon lamp power supply circuit, and the xenon lamp power supply circuit is connected to a second end of the coupling assembly, so as to convert electric energy from the second end into direct-current power, and then supply power to a xenon lamp.
Plasmonic assisted systems and methods for interior energy-activation from an exterior source
A method and a system for producing a change in a medium disposed in an artificial container. The method places in a vicinity of the medium at least one of a plasmonics agent and an energy modulation agent. The method applies an initiation energy through the artificial container to the medium. The initiation energy interacts with the plasmonics agent or the energy modulation agent to directly or indirectly produce the change in the medium. The system includes an initiation energy source configured to apply an initiation energy to the medium to activate the plasmonics agent or the energy modulation agent.
INTERIOR ENERGY-ACTIVATION OF PHOTO-REACTIVE SPECIES INSIDE A MEDIUM OR BODY
A method and a system for producing a change in a medium. The method places in a vicinity of the medium an energy modulation agent. The method applies an initiation energy to the medium. The initiation energy interacts with the energy modulation agent to directly or indirectly produce the change in the medium. The energy modulation agent has a normal predominant emission of radiation in a first wavelength range outside of a second wavelength range (WR2) known to produce the change, but under exposure to the applied initiation energy produces the change. The system includes an initiation energy source configured to apply an initiation energy to the medium to activate the energy modulation agent.
Flashlamp cartridge for decontamination and decontamination unit
A flashlamp cartridge for a decontamination unit. The cartridge includes a flashtube for pulsed emissions of ultraviolet light and a sheath encapsulating the flashtube.
Systems and methods for bleaching microbial cells
A method of treating microbial biomass includes mixing the microbial biomass in a liquid to form a suspension, the microbial biomass having an initial color, and exposing the suspension to light to form treated microbial biomass, the treated microbial biomass having a treated color. The treated color is lighter than the initial color. The microbial biomass can also have an initial taste and odor that are stronger than a treated taste and odor of the treated microbial biomass.

FRESHNESS MAINTENANCE SYSTEM
A freshness maintenance system includes a freshness detection unit that detects the freshness of an agricultural product by detecting ethylene gas, and a maturation suppression unit that irradiates light having a sterilizing effect or generates an electromagnetic wave. A processing unit of the freshness maintenance system controls the maturation suppression unit based on the freshness detected by the freshness detection unit to suppress the freshness of the agricultural product.

Room and area disinfection utilizing pulsed light
Room and/or area disinfection apparatuses are provided which generate pulses of germicidal light at a frequency greater than 3 Hz and project the pulses of light exterior to the disinfection apparatuses. In some cases, the apparatus includes processor executable program instructions for receiving data regarding characteristics of a space in which the disinfection apparatus is to be operated. In addition or alternatively, the apparatus may include a remote user interface to affect operation of the disinfection apparatus. In other cases, the apparatus may additionally or alternatively include a means for automatically moving the disinfection apparatus. In yet other additional or alternative cases, the disinfection apparatus may be void of an opaque component 360 around an elongated portion of the germicidal pulsed light source such that light emitted from the germicidal pulsed light source encircles the disinfection apparatus.
