Computerized Technical Authentication and Grading System for Collectible Objects
The disclosure described herein is directed to a computerized system and method of grading and authenticating collectibles utilizing digital imaging devices and processes to provide an objective, standardized, consistent high-resolution grading of collectible objects, such as but not limited to sport and non-sport trading cards. The disclosure eliminates the subjectivity present in the human grading process and overcomes the inherent limitations of the human eye.
CUSTOM EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS
Example implementations disclosed herein can be used to generate student user-specific customized hybrid educational documents. Such implementations include systems, methods, and devices for determining an attention span profile associated with a particular student user, and generating a custom educational document in response to the attention span profile. Student user experience feedback and test results determined from the use of the customized educational document can be assessed to update the student user's attention span profile. The updated student user attention span can then be used to update the customized educational document.
ELECTRONIC AND PAPER COMBINED DATA SUBMISSION, PRINTING, AND RETRIEVAL METHOD AND ITS SYSTEM
An electronic and paper combined data submission, printing, and retrieval method includes: completing an application in a client terminal, sending the user-entered data in the client terminal to a remote storage server; printing the completed application together with a barcode containing a unique identification code; retrieving the electronic data stored in the remote storage server by scanning said identification code. A system includes: a data encryption module; a data transmission module: an identification code module; a print module; a scan module; an analysis module; a data retrieve module; and a data decryption module.
REGENERATED CONTAINER FILE STORING
A regenerated container file is detected, and a file in the regenerated container file is determined that is different from any file in an existing container file related to the regenerated container file. To store the regenerated container file, the different file is sent to the data storage for storing.
READ ONLY BUFFERPOOL
Example implementations disclosed herein include techniques for a ready only bufferpool for use in local nodes of a multi-node computing system. Read only transactions executed by a processor can reference a ready only bufferpool resident in a VRAM on the same node. If the desired data page is in the bufferpool the transaction can immediately read data records from the cached data pages. If the desired data page is not in the bufferpool, then the transaction can cause a copy of a corresponding data page in a secondary memory to be installed in the bufferpool. The bufferpool can include more than one copy of a data page simultaneously to handle and prevent cache line misses. Data page are dropped from the bufferpool based on an incrementing per data page counter.
PRODUCT, OPERATING SYSTEM AND TOPIC BASED
A method is described in which a topic similarity score, a product similarity score and an operating system similarity score between an original post and each one of a plurality of previous posts are determined; an overall similarity score of the each one of the plurality of previous posts based on the topic similarity score, the product similarity score and the operating system similarity score is determined; and a recommendation of a top K number of the plurality of previous posts based on the overall similarity score of the each one of the plurality of previous posts is sent to a display device.
LEARNING APPARATUS IN DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT
A learning apparatus in a digital environment is advantageous to interaction and communication among users who use a knowledge point structure for learning. The learning apparatus in the digital environment constructs a structurized knowledge library by editing knowledge points, tags of the knowledge points and a relationship among the knowledge points; then records a user's mastery degree for the knowledge points on the basis of the tags; and records knowledge learning information and social attribute information thereof for each user, so as to construct a general-class learning record, a single-class learning record and a general knowledge learning system of the user, which can also be used for the user to view the popularity of each tag in the knowledge library.
SEMANTIC DATABASE DRIVEN FORM VALIDATION
Embodiments of the present invention provide a means for validating electronic forms using one or more semantic databases. The invention includes processing an electronic form into individual elements and generating entities for the individual elements. The closest matching ontology is found for each entity and the pairings are grouped into a general formal ontology tree. The entities in the general formal ontology tree are traversed using generated rules. This analysis yields validation results that are combined with the original form to create an annotated form.
AN AUTOMATICALLY INVOKED UNIFIED VISUALIZATION INTERFACE
A unified visualization interface is disclosed. One example is a system including an association module, a multicasting module, a data sharing module, and a unified visualization interface. The association module associates an identified event in a first visualization system with a visualization function. The multicasting module stores event data related to the identified event and the associated visualization function in a shared data source, and multicasts the identified event to a second visualization system. The data sharing module associates the event data with characteristics of the first visualization system, and shares, in response to the multicast of the identified event, the shared data source with the second visualization system. The unified visualization interface automatically invokes, without software changes, the second visualization system in response to the multicast of the identified event, the invoking based on the shared data source including the characteristics of the first visualization system.
ITERATIVE VISUALIZATION OF A COHORT FOR WEIGHTED HIGH-DIMENSIONAL CATEGORICAL DATA
Visualization of a cohort for high-dimensional categorical data is disclosed. One example is a system including a display module to identify real-time selection of a query data element in an interactive visual representation of high-dimensional categorical data elements comprising a plurality of categorical components. A matrix generator generates a binary distance matrix with columns representing categorical components, and entries in a row indicative of a degree of similarity of respective categorical components of the selected query data element to a data element represented by the row, and determines a category weighting matrix by associating a weight with entries in each column of the binary distance matrix. An evaluator evaluates a weighted similarity score for a data element represented by a row of the category weighting matrix based on entries of the row. A selector iteratively and interactively selects, based on weighted similarity scores, a cohort of categorical data elements.
