SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING CONTINUING ACCESS TO A REMOTE COMPUTER PROGRAM
Systems and methods are provided for using a file-sharing service to identify, execute, and provide continuing access to remote computer programs. In certain embodiments, a list of files to be accessed remotely is provided to a first device, a selection is received from a user at the first device identifying a file from the provided list, and an application is executed on a second device to access a copy of the identified file, which is synchronized with a file-sharing service.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING DOCUMENTS ON THE BASIS OF AN INDEX
A system and method for automatically generating at least one document, in particular of procuration type intended for authorizing an agent to carry out an action on behalf of a client, the method includes: a step of selecting values of a first parameter and of a second parameter in such a way as to form a generation context; a step of consulting the static index so as to obtain the virtual document or the pre-finalized document in the PDF format associated with said generation context; in the case of a virtual document, a step of requesting from a database the page layout and the paragraphs pointed at by the virtual document obtained; and a step of generating said document in an electronic format, containing the paragraphs returned by said request and the page layout returned by said request.
System and Method for Automatically Selecting Images to Accompany Text
A system for selecting an image to accompany text from a user in connection with a social media post. The system is capable of receiving text from the user, identifying one or more search terms based on the text, identifying candidate images from images in one or more image databases using the search terms, presenting one or more candidate images to the user, receiving from the user a selected image from the one or more candidate images, generating the social media post comprising the selected image and the user-submitted text, and transmitting the social media post for display.
Remote Creation of a Playback Queue for a Future Event
Example embodiments involve remote creation of a playback queue for an event. An example implementation involves a cloud computing system receiving, from a first mobile device, one or more messages representing an instruction to create a playlist for an event. In response, the system creates the playlist in data storage. The system sends, to multiple second mobile devices, one or more respective invitations to the event, wherein each invitation indicates: a time and date for the event and a link to a web interface including controls to add audio tracks to the playlist for the event. The system receives respective sets of input data, each set indicating audio tracks selected via the web interface on a respective second mobile device and, in response, adds the respective audio tracks to the playlist. During the event, the system causes the playlist to be queued in a queue of a media playback system.
CATEGORIZING KEYWORDS
A keyword to be categorized is received. A category dictionary including categories having associated registered keywords, and a text corpus are received. Registered keywords are identified in the category dictionary having a degree of similarity to the keyword to be categorized that is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, and the categories associated with the identified registered keywords are extracted. Registered keywords are identified that are co-occurring in the text corpus with the keyword to be categorized, and the categories associated with the identified co-occurring registered keywords are extracted. A degree of importance is determined for each extracted category based on a function of the identified registered keywords in the category dictionary and/or a function of the identified co-occurring registered keywords. The extracted categories are outputted, with at least an indication of each category's relative importance, as category candidates for categorizing the keyword to be categorized.
RESPONSIVE TRANSACTIONAL STATEMENT GENERATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The field of the invention relates to systems and methods for creating on-line transactional statements, and more particularly to creating electronic transactional statements that can responsively and dynamically fit any display window size. In an embodiment, a responsive transactional statement generation system having one or more processors and a non-transitory computer-readable medium containing program instructions that cause said one or more processors to receive data files each includes data representing one or more transactional statements, parse the received data files using one or more predetermined schemas to create restructured electronic transactional statements, save the restructured electronic transactional statements and display the restructured electronic transactional statements responsively at a user device. In other embodiments, the responsive transactional statement generation system compresses the restructured electronic transactional statements, saves the restructured electronic transactional statements in a secure format, and uses predetermined quality assurance processes.
SHARING CONTENT WITH PERMISSION CONTROL USING NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION
A sending device receives a user input indicating that the user wishes to share and open item of content with a receiving device. A near field communication link is opened between the sending device and the receiving device. Metadata for sharing the open data is gathered on the sending device and a permission setting user interface display is displayed, with the user input mechanism that allows a user to set permissions corresponding to the open item. User actuation of the permission setting user input mechanism is received, the permissions are added to the open item, and the metadata is sent to the receiving device over the near field communication link. The metadata includes a location of the open item. The open item can then be accessed by the receiving device, with the permissions applied to the open item.
SPLITTING OF A JOIN OPERATION TO ALLOW PARALLELIZATION
A system and method for processing a database query is described. In response to detection that a database query involves a star or snowflake join operation, a join operator in a preliminary query plan can be split into a build operator and a probe operator. The probe operator can be placed in a final query plan in the same place as the join operator in the preliminary query plan, while the build operator can be placed beneath the probe operator in the final query plan, between an exchange operator and the exchange operator's child from the preliminary query plan.
VISUAL RECOGNITION USING SOCIAL LINKS
System, method and architecture for providing improved visual recognition by modeling visual content, semantic content and an implicit social network representing individuals depicted in a collection of content, such as visual images, photographs, etc., which network may be determined based on co-occurrences of individuals represented by the content, and/or other data linking the individuals. In accordance with one or more embodiments, using images as an example, a relationship structure may comprise an implicit structure, or network, determined from co-occurrences of individuals in the images. A kernel jointly modeling content, semantic and social network information may be built and used in automatic image annotation and/or determination of relationships between individuals, for example.
Method for Saving Standard Format Page and Server
Provided is a method for saving a standard format page. The method includes: generating a standard format page which includes a first filling entry, the first filling entry having a default filling value and being configured to be filled with a PLMN identity of a visited place; transmitting the standard format page to the first mobile terminal located at the visited place; receiving a first standard format page transmitted by the first mobile terminal, the first standard format page being a standard format page in which the first filling entry has been filled with the filling value; and identifying and saving the first standard format page. The present disclosure further provides a server for saving a standard format page.
