The present invention provides a data update method, an apparatus, and an eUICC. The method is applied to an eUICC in which a management apparatus and at least one SE are disposed, where the at least one SE is configured to store an application corresponding to at least one profile. The management apparatus receives a profile enabling request, where the enabling request is used to switch a source profile to a target profile, the enabling request includes identifier information of the target profile, and the source profile is a profile that is in an enabled state before the switching; and updates a first correspondence to a second correspondence according to the enabling request; and the second correspondence is a correspondence between a second application set and the target profile, and the second application set includes at least one application in the first application set.

Method For Updating Process Objects In An Engineering System

A method for updating process objects of an automation project stored in an engineering system, wherein an automation device is designed and/or configured via the engineering system to control a technical process and wherein, furthermore, the technical process to be controlled can be operated and monitored via an operator system in which changes to process objects made during the run-time are not lost but secured and are automatically “updated” or “traced” in the engineering system.

System and Method of Integrating to an External Search Application in an Employee Desktop Web Client
20180007207 · 2018-01-04 · ·

In the field of government engagement management, for users of an employee desktop web client, it is now possible, within the web client application, to search and read articles and/or knowledge content that has been authored to external locations. Due to this integration to external, third-party applications, content and/or articles can be displayed to an agent on the employee desktop web client graphical user interface. Agents can enter free text into a specific search field and review the results in summary form, and then select an article in HTML format to progress the current interaction with the client. This functionality adds value to the agent experience and enables the agent to provide an improved service to the end client. Results may be filtered by the search engine as well. Moreover, this system and method improves the operation of the computer in that the computer running such a system in the past was not able to integrate in such a fashion in a web client format. This system and method also enables an agent to handle calls with the web client more efficiently, and allows agents on the web client to automatically classify.

Agents can enter free text into a specific search field and review the results in summary form, and then select an article in HTML format to progress the current interaction with the client. An additional feature extending from this capability is to add an amount of coding to external knowledge content websites that are owned and/or operated by the owner of the system such that when the website is viewed through the third-party integration module, a button or icon appears within the website that when selected takes the agent to an appropriate form. This button or icon does not appear when the website is viewed outside of the system. This functionality adds value to the agent experience and enables the agent to provide an improved service to the end client. Results may be filtered by the search engine as well. VIDEO CREATION SERVER, VIDEO CREATION PROGRAM, VIDEO CREATION METHOD, AND VIDEO CREATION SYSTEM

A technique for presenting text information to service users with enhanced visual effects so that the text information makes a strong impression on the users. A video creation server includes an acquisition section configured to acquire material data including one or both of text data and a still image, and a control section configured to acquire a script code editable by a user and to create moving-image data having the material data embedded into each frame of previously defined moving-image data such that the material data moves within the previously defined moving-image data in accordance with the script code.

System and Method for Data Mining Very Large Drugs and Clinical Effects Databases

A current system allows data-driven hypothesis generation to identify therapeutic candidates for a disease phenotype treatment by identifying drugs and clinical indications associated with lower occurrences of disease-associated phenotype(s) by a drug/drug class. A current system may include a pharmaceutical hierarchical ontology; a phenotype hierarchical ontology; a record database comprising clinical event records; a database mining engine; and a mapping engine. The database mining engine may iteratively progress through a portion of the pharmacological hierarchical ontology and phenotype hierarchical ontology to iteratively select pairs of cohort entries from each ontology; and for each pair of cohort entries, query the clinical record database for matching records. The mapping engine may map each pair of cohort entries into a matrix comprising a drug-event cell for each pair and apply a value thereto representing the number of database records matching items returned by the database mining engine for the corresponding cohort entries.

METHOD FOR CONFIGURING A MOM DATA WAREHOUSE AND PROVIDING A UI TO THE MOM DATA WAREHOUSE CONFIGURATION AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
20180004381 · 2018-01-04 ·

A method for configuring a manufacturing operation management (MOM) data warehouse and providing a user interface (UI) to the MOM data warehouse configuration. The MOM data warehouse forms a database for the data handled within a manufacturing execution system. The method includes: a) mapping the data that has to be presented in the UI into a hierarchical data model being based on an industry classification of the manufacturing process controlled by the manufacturing execution system, the hierarchical data model having a number of levels; b) mapping the hierarchical data model into a radial control based UI; c) displaying in the radial control based UI at least two levels of the hierarchical data model; and d) providing navigation actions in order to scroll up and/or scroll down through the levels of the hierarchical data model.

CONTENT CREATION FROM EXTRACTED CONTENT

Examples of the present disclosure describe content creation of at least one abstract from extracted content. Input information is received that comprises a link to a landing page and keyword information. The landing page is evaluated and content including at least one of image data and text data is extracted from the landing page. Properties of the content extracted are analyzed. The content extracted is ranked based on the analyzed properties and application of at least two ranking algorithms. A first ranking algorithm applied ranks the content based on relevance to the landing page and a second ranking algorithm applied ranks the content extracted based on relevance to the keyword information. The ranked content is filtered to remove content or portions of content that are determined to be unappealing based on applying filtering rules to the ranked content. At least one abstract is created from the filtered and ranked content.

According to the present invention, a front server includes an information page creating unit that creates a plurality of hierarchical information pages and search result pages, using data items stored in the information database, a posted page creating unit that extracts from the posted article database, a posted article associated with an information page displayed on the communication terminal and a posted article associated with a lower-order information page of the information page displayed, to create a posted page corresponding to the information page displayed, and a communication processing unit that sends the information page and the posted page to the communication terminal to display therein.

READING DIFFICULTY LEVEL BASED RESOURCE RECOMMENDATION
20180004726 · 2018-01-04 ·

Examples associated with reading difficulty level based resource recommendation are disclosed. One example may involve instructions stored on a computer readable medium. The instructions, when executed on a computer, may cause the computer to obtain a set of candidate resources related to a source document. The candidate resources may be obtained based on content extracted from the source document. The instructions may also cause the computer to identify reading difficulty levels of members of the set of candidate resources. The instructions may also cause the computer to recommend a selected candidate resource to a user. The selected candidate resource may be recommended based on subject matter similarity between the selected candidate resource and the source document. The selected candidate resource may also be recommended based on reading difficulty level similarity between the selected candidate resource and the source document.
