COMPUTER DATA SYSTEM DATA SOURCE REFRESHING USING AN UPDATE PROPAGATION GRAPH
Described are methods, systems and computer readable media for data source refreshing.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REPLACING AN APPLICATION INTERFACE OF AN ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE AND ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE THEREWITH
A method for replacing an application interface of an electronic cigarette includes the steps of receiving a mode switching request after starting up a system, and displaying a network configuration interface based on the received mode switching request; acquiring a network address of a server when the electronic cigarette is connected to a network, and accessing the server based on the acquired network address of the server automatically; sending a request for downloading interface information to the server, and receiving the interface information from the server based on the request for downloading interface information; and replacing the application interface of the electronic cigarette with the interface information when receiving a request for replacing the application interface of the electronic cigarette. A device for replacing an application interface of an electronic cigarette and an electronic cigarette are also disclosed. With the method, the device and the electronic cigarette, the application interface of the electronic cigarette can be personalized when required.
EMBEDDED COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK OF A VEHICLE
An embedded communications network of a vehicle is a deterministic switched Ethernet network using virtual links, including a set of subscribers and a set of switches. A first subscriber is connected to a first switch and a third switch, and a second subscriber is connected to a second switch and to a fourth switch. A first virtual link is formed from the first subscriber to at least the second subscriber via a first subset of switches, and a second virtual link is formed from the first subscriber to at least the second subscriber via a second subset of switches, the switches of the first subset of switches all being separate from the switches of the second subset of switches. The communications network includes at least one connection, used by a third virtual link, between a switch of the first subset and a switch of the second subset.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLOUD STREAMING SERVICE
A method and apparatus are provided for a cloud streaming service. A cloud streaming server receives first data corresponding to media source extension (MSE) media from a media source server when a request for content is received from a user device. Then the cloud streaming server creates a first stream by transcoding the first data to a suitable format for processing at the user device, and transmits the created first stream to the user device. Further, the cloud streaming server receives second data corresponding to remaining data except the first data in the content, outputs an execution screen of the content by executing the second data, captures the outputted execution screen, and creates a second stream by encoding the captured screen.
FILE DELIVERY METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a file delivery method. The file delivery method includes receiving a task request for a file delivery task sent by a target node to request a file; determining according to the task request whether there are completed nodes, the completed nodes being other target nodes that have completed a file delivery task delivering the file; designating, if there are completed nodes, a node from the completed nodes as a source station corresponding to the task request; designating, if there are no completed nodes, a source server as the source station corresponding to the task request; and delivering the file to the target node through the designated source station.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES, APPARATUS, AND METHODS FOR TRANSPARENTLY INSERTING A VIRTUAL STORAGE LAYER IN A FIBRE CHANNEL BASED STORAGE AREA NETWORK WHILE MAINTAINING CONTINUOUS INPUT/OUTPUT OPERATIONS
A method of transparently inserting a virtual storage layer into a Fibre channel based storage area network (SAN) while maintaining continuous I/O operations is provided. A device is inserted between a host entity and a first storage device. The device identifies a plurality of first paths between the host entity and the first storage device, and defines a plurality of second paths by defining, for each first path among the plurality of first paths, a corresponding second path between the host entity and a second storage device. The device determines, for each of the plurality of first paths, a respective first state. The device establishes, for each of the second paths among the plurality of second paths, a second state based on the first state of the corresponding first path. The device redirects, to the second storage device, communications directed from the host entity to the first storage device, via the plurality of second paths.
EVENT INFORMATION PUSH METHOD, EVENT INFORMATION PUSH APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides an event information push method performed at a computer system, the method including: collecting network messages from a social networking platform; performing aggregation on the network messages, to obtain corresponding event information; obtaining, for each piece of event information, one or more attributes from the corresponding category of network messages; obtaining, from an event information and user database, a user group corresponding to the one or more attributes of each piece of event information; and pushing each piece of event information to a user in the user group corresponding to the event information.
SECURING CONNECTIONS TO UNSECURE INTERNET RESOURCES
A computer program product having a computer readable non-transitory storage medium. The storage medium having encoded thereon a computer code for instructing at least one hardware processor to automatically: (a) intercept a plurality of data packets transported over a computer network; (b) analyze said plurality of data packets to identify at least one secure connection request to an unsecure domain hosted on at least one web server; (c) retrieve a digital security certificate for the unsecure domain from a trusted certification authority; (d) associate the digital security certificate with the unsecure domain, thereby converting the unsecure domain to a secure domain; (e) send the digital security certificate to at least one second client terminal. Thereby the computer program product facilitates a secure connection between the at least one second client terminal and the secure domain.
INTERCHANGEABLE INTERNAL MODULAR AVIONICS PLATFORM ASSEMBLY
Internal interchangeable modular avionics platform assemblies and methods for removably mounting and interchanging modular avionics platforms within an aircraft. In some embodiments, modular avionics platform assemblies may include a modular avionics platform configured to support various avionics equipment, suitable for removable mounting within a forward fuselage, and interchangeable with a number of alternate platforms. A platform may include a frame structure, and mounting pins and a connector assembly disposed on the frame structure. The mounting pins may project outwardly from the frame structure to align with and detachably secure to corresponding airframe members of an aircraft when the frame structure is in a mounted position. The connector assembly may be disposed on the frame structure and have a plurality of connectors, including connectors for alternating current, direct current, and data. In some embodiments, the platform may also include an environmental cooling system disposed on the frame structure.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINATION OF COMMUNICATION PARAMETERS BY NODES OF A VEHICULAR NETWORK
Systems and methods that use adaptive control of communication protocol parameters in a network of moving things. Each network device may share information identifying communication protocol parameters used by the network device through periodic broadcasts, which may be received by neighboring network devices that are within communication range. The neighboring network devices may then adjust their own communication protocol parameters accordingly when attempting to communicate with the first network device and their own neighboring network devices. Network devices that have not received the shared information may use information about their geographic location and the geographic location of neighboring network devices to estimate values of some communication protocol parameters that will provide more effective communication.
