METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAPPING NETWORK DATA MODELS
In one embodiment, a method includes processing network data models at a network device operating in a network comprising a plurality of network components, each of the network components associated with one of the network data models, performing semantic matching at the network device for at least two of the network data models, the semantic matching comprising computing labels for elements of the network data models utilizing label computation algorithms configured for notational conventions used in the network data models, computing contexts for the elements based on a hierarchy of each of the network data models, removing one or more of the labels used to form the contexts to create reduced contexts, and computing a semantic relationship for the reduced contexts of the network data models. The network data models are mapped at the network device based on the semantic matching for use in a network application. An apparatus and logic are also disclosed herein.
METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING WIRELESS AP, SERVER, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure discloses a method for identifying a wireless AP performed at a server. The method includes: obtaining network connection information of terminal devices; for each terminal device, determining a rank for each respective wireless AP to which the terminal device connects by: analyzing corresponding network connection information to determine a first number of times of connections between the terminal device and the wireless AP; analyzing corresponding network connection information to determine a second number of times of connections between the wireless AP and each terminal device connecting to the wireless AP; and determining the rank for the wireless AP based on a weighted average of the first number of times of connections and the second number of times of connections; and returning identifier information of wireless APs as a first-type wireless AP to which the terminal device connects and their corresponding ranks to the terminal device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC VISUAL REPRESENTATION AND ANALYSIS OF A WEBSITE TRAFFIC
A system and method for dynamic visual representation and analysis of a website traffic are provided. The method includes analyzing at least one website to identify its contents; generating a visual dashboard of website information, wherein the visual dashboard comprises a plurality of segments wherein each segment represents a portion of the at least one website of the identified website's contents; monitoring real-time traffic to the website; identifying, based on the monitored website traffic, a plurality of users currently browsing at least a portion of the at least one website; and generating, for each identified user of the plurality of users, access information for display on the visual dashboard, wherein an icon for each of the plurality of users is displayed within the visual dashboard and wherein the icon represents at least an interaction of each user with the portion of the at least one website.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA FOR TESTING NETWORK DEVICES USING VARIABLE TRAFFIC BURST PROFILES
A method for testing a network device using a variable traffic burst profile includes providing for user selection of at least one type of simulated traffic to be transmitted to a network device under test (DUT). The method further includes receiving user input regarding selection of the type of simulated traffic. The method further includes providing for user selection of a transmission rate for transmitting the simulated traffic to the DUT. The method further includes receiving user input regarding selection of the transmission rate. The method further includes transmitting the simulated traffic to the DUT according to the selected traffic type, the selected transmission rate, and a variable traffic burst profile.
Methods and systems of an all purpose broadband network with publish subscribe broker network
An example system includes a server communicatively connected to a cellular base transceiver station having an RF coverage area and configured for RF communication with a first entity that is a transceiver device in the RF coverage area, wherein the server comprises a first publish-subscribe broker that is part of a publish-subscribe broker network that comprises one or more publish-subscribe brokers, wherein a second entity connected to any of the one or more publish-subscribe brokers in the publish-subscribe broker network accepts communications from the transceiver device if the second entity subscribes to data packets published by the transceiver device, and wherein the data packets published by the transceiver device are routed through the publish-subscribe broker to which the second entity is connected.
Compliance mechanisms in blockchain networks
A node in a blockchain network may agree, on an authority accept a compliance module from the authority, accept the compliance module. The node may also receive an operation, verify a compliance of the operation based on the compliance module, add the verified operation to a ledger on the blockchain network.
SOFTWARE DEFINED ANOMALY DETECTION FOR WORKLOADS
A system may include a virtual machine, of a cloud computing environment, that executes a target application workload to be intercepted. A software defined anomaly detection engine (that is separate from the target application workload and that is also executing in the virtual machine) may intercept the target application workload. A computer processor of the software defined anomaly detection engine may intercept network traffic that is external to the virtual machine and associated with the target application workload. The software defined anomaly detection engine may then automatically execute an anomaly detection algorithm in substantially real time on the intercepted network traffic to generate an intercept result. An anomaly detection alert signal may be transmitted based on a comparison of the intercept result and an anomaly threshold value.
