Method for determining contact position parameters of a joint connecting two bones
A data processing method for determining six parameters of a contact position of a joint which connects two bones, comprising the steps of acquiring a plurality of sample contact position datasets, each dataset comprising six parameters, acquiring a subset of n of the parameters of the contact position as an input parameter dataset, selecting at least two of the sample contact position datasets based on the input parameter dataset and determining the m=6−n remaining parameters of the contact position based on the at least two selected sample contact position datasets.
Modified design rules to improve device performance
A method of designing a layout of devices includes designing a layout of gate structures and diffusion regions of a plurality of devices. The method further includes identifying an edge device of the plurality of devices. The method further includes adding a dummy device next to the edge device and a dummy gate structure next to the dummy device, wherein the dummy device shares a diffusion region with the edge device, and wherein a gate structure of the dummy device is considered to be one of two dummy gate structures added next to the edge device.
Method and apparatus for implementing periphery devices on a programmable circuit using partial reconfiguration
A programmable circuit includes a physical interface at an input output (IO) periphery of the programmable circuit. The programmable circuit also includes a partial reconfigurable (PR) module, at the IO periphery of the programmable circuit, to implement a sequencer unit operable to configure the physical interface during a first instance of the PR module, and a controller unit operable to translate commands to the physical interface during a second instance of the PR module.
Highly accurate correlating method for phase equilibrium data, and phase equilibrium calculation method
A method for precisely predicting phase equilibrium from existing phase equilibrium data on the basis of a wide range of phase equilibrium data including binary vapor-liquid equilibrium data; a method or apparatus for designing or controlling a component separator or a refiner using the prediction method; and a program for designing this design or control apparatus. Binary phase equilibrium measurement data is used to calculate an index of proximity ratio to critical points and infinite dilution pressure gradients. The obtained index is correlated with the infinite dilution pressure gradients to newly calculate infinite dilution activity coefficients from the respective index to infinite dilution pressure gradients correlations. The obtained infinite dilution activity coefficients values are used to predict phase equilibrium. Thus, the obtained values are used to design or control a component separator or a refiner, such as a distillation column.
Asymmetric dense floating gate nonvolatile memory with decoupled capacitor
A nonvolatile memory (“NVM”) bitcell with one or more active regions capacitively coupled to the floating gate but that are separated from both the source and the drain. The inclusion of capacitors separated from the source and drain allows for improved control over the voltage of the floating gate. This in turn allows CHEI (or IHEI) to be performed with much higher efficiency than in existing bitcells, thereby the need for a charge pump to provide current to the bitcell, ultimately decreasing the total size of the bitcell. The bitcells may be constructed in pairs, further reducing the space requirements of the each bitcell, thereby mitigating the space requirements of the separate capacitor/s. The bitcell may also be operated by CHEI (or IHEI) and separately by BTBT depending upon the voltages applied at the source, drain, and capacitor/s.
STLB prefetching for a multi-dimension engine
A multi-dimension engine, connected to a system TLB, generates sequences of addresses to request page address translation prefetch requests in advance of predictable accesses to elements within data arrays. Prefetch requests are filtered to avoid redundant requests of translations to the same page. Prefetch requests run ahead of data accesses but are tethered to within a reasonable range. The number of pending prefetches are limited. A system TLB stores a number of translations, the number being relative to the dimensions of the range of elements accessed from within the data array.
Method and apparatus for prediction of community reaction to a post
A method and apparatus for prediction of community reaction to a post for an online social community is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a proposed post as input to a generated prediction model prior to the proposed post being posted to an online social community; predicting a community reaction to the proposed post using the prediction model; and displaying the predication, wherein the prediction comprises a sentiment score and at least one of a number of responses, a number of responders to the post, a longevity of the post, or a half-life of the post.

Method for analyzing operation state of substation by combining whole grid model with local grid model
The disclosure relates to the crossing field between a power transmission of an ultra-high-voltage and a power system simulation, specifically a method for analyzing an operation state of a substation by combining a whole grid model with a local grid model is provided according to the disclosure. The method includes following steps: performing a load flow calculation for the provincial grid to which a ultra-high-voltage line belongs, wherein initial data of the load flow calculation employs a grid model with E format for national power grid dispatching control center; making an equivalent transform for the model, forming an island independently from the provincial grid to which a ultra-high-voltage line belongs, and making a load flow calculation for the island to acquire data of node voltages and line transmission power.
Automated layout for integrated circuits with nonstandard cells
Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for automatically generating physical layouts of integrated circuits. A circuit is partitioned into one or more cells based on a circuit description. The method further checks availability of a layout of a cell for all the cells generated during the partition step. If a layout of a cell is not available, the method generates a layout of the cell by an automatic tool, and packages the generated layout in a form of a standard cell compatible with a standard cell placement and routing tool. Afterwards, the generated layout may be exported to the standard cell placement and routing tool. Finally, the standard cell placement and routing tool may merge individual layouts of the one or more cells of the circuit to generate a layout for the circuit.
