[Object] To make it possible to select a cell that is more preferable for a terminal device in an environment in which beamforming is performed. [Solution] There is provided a device including: an acquiring unit configured to acquire received quality information indicating received quality of a reference signal in a terminal device; and a control unit configured to perform cell selection for the terminal device based on the received quality information. When a predetermined condition related to use of weight sets for beamforming by a base station is satisfied, the control unit does not perform the selection based on the received quality information.

Controlling uplink traffic received by multiple base stations

The invention provides a method of controlling a mobile communication network, the method comprising, an uplink controlling entity, in response to reception quality measurement reports sent by a plurality of reception points within the mobile communication network following a transmission of data by a user equipment device, the reception quality measurement reports being responsive to the reception of the transmission, configuring the reception points within the mobile communication network such that each of the multiple reception points is configured to exhibit a participation behaviour with respect to at least one of subsequent measurement reporting and payload reporting with regard to transmissions from the user equipment device, the participation behaviour being dependent on the reception quality measurement report.

This application provides a data transmission method and apparatus. A terminal device sends first data to a network device in the n.sup.th time unit, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 0. The terminal device send second data to the network device when the terminal device does not receive the response message corresponding to the first data before the (n+k).sup.th time unit, wherein the second data is new data which is different from the first data, where k is a positive integer. According to the data transmission method provided in some embodiments of this application, the terminal device may flexibly determine the transmission mode of the second data based on an actual situation, so as to reduce a transmission delay of uplink data and improve transmission reliability of the uplink data.

Apparatus and methods for efficient wireless channel usage

A multi-user uplink transmission is performed by analyzing, by a first wireless station, a spatial reuse field in a first frame, and generating, by the first wireless station, a second frame, wherein the second frame includes a spatial reuse field that is generated based on the spatial reuse field of the first frame. The first frame and the second frame are within the same transmission opportunity (TXOP) and the first frame is transmitted prior to the second frame during the TXOP.

The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for controlling interference from a controllable device. The method includes that: a target RB suffering interference from a controllable device is determined from all RBs for data transmission; a target notification message is generated, the target notification message containing an interference indication identifier and RB information of the target RB and the interference indication identifier being configured to indicate that the interference is from the controllable device; and the target notification message is transmitted to a target base station to reduce the interference from the controllable device over the target RB according to the target notification message, the target base station being a base station for providing service for the controllable device. According to the present disclosure, interference from a controllable device over a base station of a cellular network may be reduced.

Methods for efficient resource usage between cooperative vehicles

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for sidelink communication are disclosed. A WTRU may receive a first SCI element from a second WTRU within a group. The WTRU may receive a first RCI element within a first set of resources scheduled by the first SCI. The first RCI may include information about which WTRU in the group is scheduled to use a second set of resources. The WTRU may determine, based on the first RCI, that one or more subresources within the second set of resources are available. The WTRU may transmit data in the one or more subresources. The first SCI and the first RCI may be received in a first reservation period and the one or more subresources may be in a second reservation period.
