Driving apparatus and driving controlling method
A driving apparatus includes a body; at least one sensor that is exposed to an outside of the body and configured to sense a user input for controlling driving of the body; a controller configured to generate at least one control command for driving of the body according to the sensed user input; and a motor that is configured to generate a driving force for driving the body according to the generated at least one control command.
FUEL TANK
A fuel tank comprises a circular column-shaped fuel tank body, a handle, and a lock mechanism. The circular column-shaped fuel tank body is provided so as to be capable of being detachably attached to a fuel-powered device. The handle is formed on one end side in a length direction of the fuel tank body. The lock mechanism is capable of switching between a locked state in which the fuel tank body cannot be removed from the fuel-powered device, and a lock-released state in which the locked state has been released, due to the fuel tank body being rotated in a circumferential direction in a state of being installed to the fuel-powered device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING DEGRADATION IN EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEMS
Methods and systems are provided for indication of a degradation in an EVAP and/or fuel system. In one example, a method for indication of a presence or absence of a degradation in a refueling system may include vacuum pull-down and pressure bleed-up tests being carried out based on a state of submersion of a spud valve in liquid fuel in a fuel tank.
ENERGY STORAGE ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An energy storage assembly for a motor vehicle, including a traction battery for storing electrical energy. A flexible pressure element, which is filled with gas or liquid is disposed on the outside of the traction battery or on the inside of a covering component for the traction battery, the gas or the liquid is contained at atmospheric pressure within the flexible pressure element. A pressure sensor is connected to the flexible pressure element, and by which collision-induced pressure fluctuations in the flexible pressure element can be sensed.
ELECTRONIC BRAKE SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is an electronic brake system including: a hydraulic pressure supply device including a motor, and configured to generate a hydraulic pressure by rotating the motor to move a piston in a first direction or a second direction; a hydraulic circuit configured to guide the hydraulic pressure generated by the hydraulic pressure supply device to a wheel cylinder; a motor position sensor configured to detect a rotation of the motor; a pressure sensor configured to detect a hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic circuit; and a controller configured to identify a position of the piston based on the rotation of the motor, and if the detected hydraulic pressure is greater than or equal to a reference pressure, identify whether a target pressure is securable based on the position of the piston, and control a direction change of the piston based on whether the predetermined target pressure is securable.
Power delivery system and method
A power delivery system includes a first inverter, a second inverter, and a turbocharger assist device. The first inverter is electrically connected to a primary bus and configured to receive electric current from an alternator via the primary bus to supply the electric current to a first load. The alternator generates the electric current based on mechanical energy received from an engine. The second inverter is electrically connected to a secondary bus discrete from the primary bus. The turbocharger assist device is mechanically connected to a turbocharger operably coupled to the engine. The turbocharger assist device is electrically connected to the secondary bus and configured to generate electric current based on rotation of a rotor of the turbocharger. The second inverter is configured to receive the electric current generated by the turbocharger assist device via the secondary bus to supply the electric current to a second load.
SENSOR DISPOSITION STRUCTURE IN SEAT
A sensor disposition structure in a seat includes a cushion pad and a board-like member which is disposed under the cushion pad. A concave is formed in an upper surface of the board-like member, and a sensor is disposed in the concave.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AGING A FUEL TANK IN A PLUG-IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Methods and systems are provided for aging a new plastic fuel tank in a vehicle. In one example, during a plug-in event to recharge a battery of the vehicle, the fuel tank is isolated and the fuel pump is actuated to agitate fuel within the tank and increase fuel vapors until the plastic fuel tank becomes aged to a predetermined degree by fuel vapors generated therein. In this manner, the fuel tank is aged more rapidly, resulting in more accurate fuel level readings and less noise and vibration.
PRESSURE SENSING ASSEMBLY FOR A BICYCLE WHEEL
A pressure sensing assembly configured to be attached to a bicycle wheel having a tire and a rim mounted to the tire. The pressure sensing assembly includes a housing, a pressure transmitting member, a sensing chamber defined by the housing and the pressure transmitting member, and a sensing element. The pressure transmitting member is coupled the housing and has a central portion offset from the plane in a first direction. The sensing element is offset from the plane in a second direction opposite the first direction. The pressure transmitting member is configured to transmit a pressure in the tire to the sensing element via the sensing chamber.
