Provided are a coloring composition capable of producing a film having excellent light fastness, and the like, a method for producing a coloring composition, a color filter, a pattern forming method, a solid-state imaging device, and an image display device. The coloring composition includes a coated pigment in which at least a portion of a surface of a yellow pigment is coated with a resin, a halogenated phthalocyanine pigment, a dispersant having an acid value of 40 mgKOH/g or more, and a curable compound.
PIGMENT COMPOSITE PARTICLE
A pigment composite particle is provided, which includes an organic pigment core, a polyelectrolyte shell wrapped around the organic pigment core, and an oxide shell wrapped around the polyelectrolyte shell. The organic pigment core is water-insoluble. The organic pigment core and the polyelectrolyte shell have a weight ratio of 1:0.25 to 1:1. The oxide shell is formed from tetraalkyl orthosilicate, tetraalkyl orthotitanate, or a combination thereof, and the organic pigment core and the tetraalkyl orthosilicate, tetraalkyl orthotitanate, or the combination thereof have a weight ratio of 1:0.7 to 1:3.
Core-shell particle-based security pigment and method for production thereof
The invention relates to a security pigment, comprising core-shell particles having a core based on an organic addition polymer, a shell based on an organic condensation polymer and a feature substance present in the core in finely dispersed or dissolved form, wherein the addition polymer is a three-dimensionally cross-linked duromer.
Pigment system, luminescent dye system, and value document
A pigment system of different capsule-luminescent pigments have different emission spectra, preferably different color impressions of the luminescence emission, and possess substantially the same chemical stabilities. The capsule-luminescent pigments are based on organic or metalorganic luminescent substances.
Conductive surface coating based on modified and unmodified particles and method of preparation thereof
Conductive coating compositions and methods of preparation and application thereof are provided, whereby a mixture of conductive polymer encapsulated particles and non-encapsulated particles are employed to provide a conductive surface coating with controllable viscosity and conductivity. The particles may be filler and/or pigment particles such as calcium carbonate or clay, a portion of which are coated with a conductive polymer such as polypyrrole. Encapsulated particles are prepared and filtered, mixed with non-encapsulated particles, and subsequently combined with a binder for application to a surface or substrate such as paper. A dispersant may be included to obtain a suitable viscosity of the mixture prior to application. The relative concentrations of the encapsulated and non-encapsulated particles may be selected to tailor the resulting conductivity of the coating.
Occult particles for use in granular laundry care compositions
This invention relates to non-bleeding, non-staining occult particles for use in granular or powdered laundry care compositions such as laundry detergents, laundry aids, and fabric care compositions. The occult particles are comprised of a clay carrier and a coloring agent and are characterized as being substantially indiscernible when contained in the laundry care composition.
Phosphor integrated dots nanoparticles and labeling agent using same
The present invention provides a nanoparticle containing a hydrophobic fluorescent substance accumulated therein and a thermosetting resin as a matrix, which nanoparticle, when used for labeling of a biological substance such as a protein or nucleic acid, has brightness sufficient for allowing pathological diagnosis using a fluorescence image obtained thereby. The present invention is a phosphor integrated dots nanoparticles wherein a thermosetting resin contains a structural unit formed from a raw material containing a hydrophobic substituent, and wherein a fluorescent substance is accumulated in the nanoparticle at least by hydrophobic interaction, preferably further by stacking interaction, with the hydrophobic substituent of the thermosetting resin.
METHOD OF FORMING AN ELECTRO-OPTIC MEDIUM
A variable transmission film may include an electrophoretic medium having a plurality of capsules and a binder, each capsule containing a plurality of electrically charged particles and a fluid, the charged particles being movable by application of an electric field and being capable of being switched between an open state and a closed state. The film may include at least one of a binder containing fish gelatin and a polyanion; a binder containing one or more tinting agents; capsules containing charge control agents, such as an oligoamine-terminated polyolefin and a branched chain fatty acid comprising at least 8 carbon atoms; a selection of capsules in which at least 60% have a diameter between 50 m and 90 m and at least 15% have a diameter between 20 m and 49 m; a tinted adhesive layer; and a fluid selected from one or more nonconjugated olefinic hydrocarbons.
