Radio station system, radio terminal, and methods therein
10779185 · 2020-09-15 · ·

A radio station (2) transmits configuration information (501) to a radio terminal (1). The configuration information (501) indicates, on a cell-by-cell basis, at least one specific cell on which the radio terminal (1) is allowed to perform at least one of data transmission and data reception on a radio bearer used for uplink transmission or downlink transmission or both via a common Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer (402). As a result, in a radio architecture that provides tight interworking of two different Radio Access Technologies (RATs), it is for example possible to allow an eNB to indicate, to a radio terminal (UE), a specific cell on which the UE should perform uplink transmission.

Cross-enterprise workflow
10764289 · 2020-09-01 · ·

Example systems, methods and storage media to provide a cross-enterprise workflow among clinical systems are disclosed. An example cross-enterprise enabled clinical information system includes a workflow manager to coordinate user workflows with respect to the system and associated content. The system includes an image services manager configured to manage images and associated services for the system and associated content. The workflow manager and image services manager are configured for cross-enterprise content sharing such that the system is to locally authenticate a user at the system and the system is to locally authorize a remote request for access to content at the system from a remote user that has been authenticated remotely. The system is arranged to provide content in response to the remote request after the remote authentication has been received and the system has verified the remote user's authorization for access.

Confidentiality in a consortium blockchain network
10742393 · 2020-08-11 · ·

The disclosed technology is generally directed to blockchain technology. In one example of the technology, a pre-determined type of blockchain protocol code is stored in a trusted execution environment (TEE) of a processor. TEE attestation is used to verify that the blockchain protocol code stored in the TEE is the pre-determined type of blockchain protocol code. A blockchain transaction is received. The blockchain transaction is processed while disallowing access to raw transaction data. A state of the processed blockchain is updated for a blockchain network based on the processing of the blockchain transaction, while disallowing access to raw transaction data.

Dynamic bit rate encoding
10728302 · 2020-07-28 · ·

Systems and methods for performing bit rate encoding are described. One of the methods includes receiving data indicating a change in a first connection speed that is associated with a first network. The change generates a second connection speed. The method further includes determining whether a media file is being downloaded. The method also includes determining that a current segment of the media file is being downloaded. The current segment is downloaded at a first bit rate and the first bit rate is associated with the first connection speed. The method includes determining whether the media file includes a remaining segment to be downloaded. The current segment precedes the remaining segment. The method includes identifying a second bit rate based on the second connection speed, receiving the remaining segment at the second bit rate, and stitching the remaining segment with the current segment.

Sampled measurement data stream control
10728726 · 2020-07-28 · ·

Sampled measurement data stream is controlled in an electrical network by measuring at least one measurement value in a remote device; detecting in the remote device at least one phenomenon of interest or request for a connection from the central device; activating by the remote device a communication channel for sampled measured values between the remote device and a central device in response to the detection of the phenomenon of interest or the request for a connection from the central device; and sending the measurement value from the remote device to the central device through the communication channel for sampled measured values.

ADAPTIVE DEPLOYMENT OF APPLICATIONS FOR MOBILE DEVICES
20200218526 · 2020-07-09 ·

A method of installing an application on a mobile user device is disclosed. A request for the application is received. Information is received related to the mobile user device on which the application is to be installed. A version of an application is determined to send in response to the request for the application and the information related to the mobile user device. The application version is sent to the mobile user device. Information is received related to the performance of the application version. Adapted application determination information is stored related to at least a portion of the received information.

SYSTEM FOR SUPPLYING POWER TO AT LEAST ONE POWER DISTRIBUTION AND DATA HUB USING A PORTABLE BATTERY PACK

A system for supplying power to at least one power distribution and data hub using a portable battery pack including a battery enclosed by a wearable and replaceable pouch or skin is disclosed, wherein the pouch or skin can be provided in different colors and/or patterns. Further, the pouch or skin can be MOLLE-compatible. The battery comprises a battery element housed between a battery cover and a back plate, wherein the battery element, battery cover, and back plate have a slight curvature or contour. Further, the battery comprises flexible leads.

Communication apparatus, communication system, communication method, and non-transitory computer readable medium

A communication apparatus (10) according to the present disclosure includes a transmitting unit (11) configured to transmit a packet to a communication apparatus (20) at the other end through a communication line (31), a transmitting unit (12) configured to transmit a packet to the communication apparatus (20) at the other end through a communication line (32), a packet generation unit (13) configured to generate a plurality of packets by duplicating a packet, a monitoring unit (15) configured to monitor communication states of the communication lines (31, 32), and a control unit (14) configured to determine to transmit two or more of the plurality of duplicated packets to the communication apparatus (20) at the other end by using at least one of the communication lines (31, 32) according to the communication states.

Systems and methods for performing biometric registration and authentication of a user to provide access to a secure network

Method and systems for performing biometric registration and authentication of a user, via a user device, over a communication network to provide access to a secure network. The method includes transmitting, via the communication network, non-biometric authentication credentials of the user to initiate a determination of validity of the non-biometric authentication credentials. The method further includes receiving an authentication token based upon the determination of the validity of the non-biometric authentication credentials. The method further includes obtaining biometric information from the user via the user interface and at least one biometric sensor.
