Transmission of device-to-device (D2D) control data from a first D2D device to a second D2D device in a cellular communication system
A first wireless communication device receives device-to-device (D2D) control information from a base station in a cellular communication system and sends second device D2D control data to a second wireless communication device. The second device control data is used for D2D communication over a D2D communication link between the first wireless communication device and the second wireless communication device. The second device D2D control data is at least partially based on the D2D control information.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO AUTOMATE PRIORITIZING AND ORGANIZING OF CONSUMER GOODS AND SERVICES
According to an embodiment, an automated prioritization and organization system is described which aides in identifying and defining personal preferences by using specific attributes indicated by the user, and optionally fused with user defined collaborators' preferences, weighted by additional intrinsic data selected by the user to generate lists of prioritized products and/or services.
Wireless access point to control wireless user data exchanges through wireless relays
A wireless access point serves wireless relays that serve wireless user devices. The wireless access point determines buffer status and device load for the wireless relays. The wireless access point assigns Carrier Aggregation (CA) Secondary Component Carriers (SCCs) to the wireless relays based on their buffer status. The wireless access point assigns data thresholds to the wireless relays based their device loads. The wireless access point wirelessly transfers user data to the wireless relays over their CA SCCs and within their data thresholds.
Techniques for beam failure recovery in wireless communications
Aspects described herein relate to transmitting a set of downlink reference signals corresponding to a set of uplink beams, receiving, from a user equipment (UE) and based on measuring at least one of the set of downlink reference signals, an indication to use a separate uplink beam that is different from a downlink beam for transmitting uplink communications, configuring, based on the indication, the UE with the downlink beam and the separate uplink beam, and receiving, from the UE, uplink communications based on the separate uplink beam.
RESOURCE ALLOCATION METHOD AND RESOURCE ALLOCATION SYSTEM
A resource allocation method and a resource allocation system are provided. The resource allocation method includes the following steps. Quality parameters of each of a plurality of resource blocks are obtained through measurement devices, and first and second application scenario suitability indices for each of the resource blocks are calculated according to the quality parameters. A first ranking sequence and a second ranking sequence of the resource blocks are generated according to the first application scenario suitability index and the second application scenario suitability of each resource block. A base station is configured to allocate, according to the first ranking sequence and the second ranking sequence, at least one first resource block and at least one second resource block of the resource blocks to at least one first user equipment in a first application scenario and at least one second user equipment in a second application scenario, respectively.
DETERMINING A PRIORITY ORDER BASED ON UPLINK TRANSMISSION PARAMETERS
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for determining a priority order based on uplink transmission parameters. One apparatus includes a processor that: indicates uplink transmission parameters to a medium access control layer, wherein the uplink transmission parameters correspond to an uplink grant, the uplink transmission parameters comprise an indication of a numerology and an uplink transmission duration, and the numerology comprises a subcarrier spacing; and assigns, by the medium access control layer, resources allocated by the uplink grant to the logical channels based on the uplink transmission parameters and a logical channel priority of the plurality of logical channels, wherein each logical channel of the plurality of logical channels is configured with a set of numerologies allowed by the respective logical channel, a maximum uplink transmission duration, and information indicating whether a data of the respective logical channel is allowed to be transmitted on a configured grant.
Communication support for low capability devices
A method for receiving downlink control information is provided. The method includes receiving configuration information comprising a bit-map corresponding to a set of time occasions that are separated by a same interval; identifying at least one time occasion to monitor a candidate physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on at least one search space; and decoding the candidate PDCCH in the identified at least one time occasion for obtaining the downlink control information.
CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION REPORTING IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
A wireless communication method is described for receiving a reporting configuration associated with one or more reporting criteria. The received reporting configuration is also linked to one or more channel state information (CSI) resource settings that provide a configuration information. Each CSI resource setting identifies one or more resource sets, and each resource set includes one or more reference signal resources. Based on one or more reporting criteria, a user equipment can generate a report that can be transmitted to a base station.
MCS/rank adjustment when multiplexing data in a control region
A base station may make more efficient use of resources by transmitting data in a control region of a slot in addition to a data region. In order to avoid performance loss, the base station may adjust the data transmission in the control region in comparison to a data transmission in a data region and may signal an indication to a UE to assist the UE in receiving the data transmission in the control region. An apparatus for wireless communication at the UE receives the indication from the base station regarding the data transmission in the control region and uses the indication to perform rate matching or demodulation of the data transmission in the control region. The indication may indicate any of a different MCS/rank/TPR, a reduced MCS/rank/TPR, an MCS/rank/TPR delta, a control span for a group of UEs, and a starting symbol for the data transmission. The indication may also indicate that there is no data transmitted on resources in the control region.
ENERGY SAVING METHOD AND DEVICE
The present disclosure provides an energy saving method, which is applied to a base station side of a wireless network system, and includes: allocating a first antenna resource to transmission of a first signal, and allocating a second antenna resource to transmission of a second signal; and keeping the first antenna resource on all the time or closing the first antenna resource merely in a preset time slot, and closing a part of the second antenna resource when it is detected that an energy saving condition is met.
