A first of the N segments includes a rank indicator (RI) and at least one other CSI parameter. A base station (BS) includes a processor configured to generate configuration information for CSI reporting and a transceiver configured to transmit, to a UE, the configuration information via a downlink (DL) channel; and receive, from the UE, a CSI report calculated in accordance with the configuration information on an uplink UL channel.
Method and apparatus for reporting channel state information
A channel state information request requesting a device to feedback channel state information can be received. Whether the channel state information request corresponds to regular latency based operation or reduced latency based operation can be determined. Channel state information can be derived based on a first reference resource when the channel state information request corresponds to regular latency based operation. Channel state information can be derived based on a second reference resource when the channel state information request corresponds to reduced latency based operation. The reduced latency based operation can have a latency less than the regular latency based operation. The derived channel state information can be reported to a network.

Methods and apparatus for channel detection in an uplink shared control channel. In an exemplary embodiment, a method includes generating soft-combined bit streams for an acknowledgement (ACK) indicator, rank indicator (RI), and channel quality indicator (CQI) received in an uplink shared channel. The method also includes decoding the ACK, RI, and CQI soft-combined bit streams to generate Top-M decoded bit streams for each indicator, and generating Top-Q symbols for each indicator from the Top-M decoded bit streams for each indicator. The method also includes calculating metrics from the Top-Q symbols and uplink control information (UCI) symbols extracted from the uplink shared channel, combining the metrics to form a search space, and searching the search space to determine transmitted ACK, RI, and CQI bits.
Method for improving transmission rate in mesh network
A client terminal sends a signal to a wireless access device. The wireless access device receives the signal, determines channel state information corresponding to the client terminal according to identity information of the client terminal in the signal, and calculates data sent by the client terminal according to the channel state information and the signal. The client terminal sends a request signal for acquiring channel state information, wherein the request signal includes identity information of the client terminal. The wireless access device receives the request signal, obtains the channel state information corresponding to the client terminal according to the identity information of the client terminal in the request signal, and sends the obtained channel state information to the client terminal. The client terminal receives the channel state information and the signal and calculates the data sent to the client terminal according to the channel state information and the signal.

RADIO RESOURCE SELECTION AND SENSING FOR V2X TRANSMISSIONS
The invention relates to a transmitting device, which performs a resource sensing procedure to acquire information about radio resources usable for transmitting data at a later point in time. After data becomes available for transmission, the transmitting device performs an autonomous radio resource allocation to select radio resources within a transmission window to be used for transmitting the data, based on the information acquired by the resource sensing procedure during a sensing window. The autonomous radio resource allocation comprises selecting radio resources in primary subframes of the transmission window preferably over radio resources in secondary subframes of the transmission window. The secondary subframes correspond to those subframes in the sensing window during which the transmitting device did not perform the resource sensing procedure, and the primary subframes correspond to those subframes in the sensing window during which the transmitting device did perform the resource sensing procedure.
