Process of preparing a dyed fabric including a bacterial biopolymer and having unique appearance

The present invention provides a process for the production of a fabric having a unique appearance and the fabric so obtained. Also provided is the clothing articles, i.e. garments, including the fabric. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for producing a woven fabric having a unique, e.g. used (i.e. worn-out) or multi-shaded appearance and the process includes a step of providing a woven fabric with a layer of bacterial biopolymer, dyeing at least part of the fabric together with the biopolymer layer, and then removing at least part of the bacterial biopolymer layer from the fabric.

The woven cloth is formed by a plurality of longitudinal threads and a plurality of lateralwise threads. Each longitudinal thread is woven by a plurality of filaments. Each lateralwise thread is interwoven with and ties the plurality of longitudinal threads. The woven cloth includes a non-woven section and two woven sections which are connected with two ends of the non-woven section. Each woven section includes at least two of the plurality of lateralwise threads which are adjacent to each other. In an extending direction in which the longitudinal threads extend, a span of the non-woven section is greater than a gap span between adjacent two of the lateralwise threads of respective one of the two woven sections.

Method for manufacturing woven fabric and woven fabric

To provide a method for manufacturing a woven fabric for which neither the appearance nor a function provided by flat threads of the woven fabric are impaired, and to provide the woven fabric. The woven fabric further includes flat threads 3 each wider than a fiber warp thread 10, and the flat threads 3 are caused to pass through healds 102 intermittently with respect to a plurality of the fiber warp threads 10. A hole 102a of each heald is long in a heald moving direction. By causing the flat thread 3 to pass through the hole, the longitudinal direction in transverse plane of the flat thread 3 is oriented along a heald moving direction M. By interweaving fiber weft threads with the fiber warp threads 10, a plurality of woven fabric placement sections is formed so as to be arranged in a weft direction W, each woven fabric placement section being formed as a woven fabric structure and having the flat thread corresponding thereto placed on the woven fabric structure. A flat face HF of the flat thread 3 is disposed on the fiber warp threads 10 in the woven fabric placement section so as to face the fiber warp threads 10. A part of the fiber weft threads is caused to pass over the flat thread 3, to fix the flat thread 3 on the woven fabric placement section. The woven fabric covering section may be formed as a plain weave.

Textile, garment including the textile, and methods for manufacturing the textile and the garment

A textile is provided that includes a plurality of warp yarns and a plurality of weft yarns woven together, the plurality of warp yarns each including an elastic warp filament and a non-elastic warp filament, and the plurality of weft yarns each including an elastic weft filament and a non-elastic weft filament. At least one of the elastic warp filament, the non-elastic warp filament, the elastic weft filament, and the non-elastic weft filament includes a hydrophobic material. The materials of the elastic warp filament, the non-elastic warp filament, the elastic weft filament, and the non-elastic weft filament are selected such that the textile has a high elastic stretchability in at least one of a weft direction and a warp direction. A garment including the textile, and methods for manufacturing the textile and the garment, are also disclosed.

A woven textile is provided, including at least two blocks connected with each other. Each of the two blocks has an upper layer and a lower layer which are woven and fixed by a binding thread, and the upper layer and the lower layer are respectively composed of woven braids which extend meanderingly. The textile braid of the upper layer and the textile braid of the lower layer define a plurality of meshes, and the textile braids of the two blocks have different diameters so that the meshes on the two blocks have different dimensions.

Method of making an elevator suspension and/or driving assembly having at least one traction surface defined by weave fibers

An illustrative example method of making an elongated load bearing member includes providing a plurality of tension elements. A plurality of weave fibers are woven together with the tension elements to thereby establish a weave. A traction surface is established on at least one side of the load bearing member. The traction surface is defined by the weave fibers. Coating the weave fibers with a compressible coating provides an exterior surface texture defined at least in part by the weave fibers.

WOVEN FABRIC AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME

A method of weaving a woven fabric comprising weaving a first plurality of weft yarns through a plurality of warm yarns in a 61 pattern, and weaving a second plurality of weft yarns through the plurality of warp yarns in a 131 pattern. In one embodiment, all of the weft yarns have the same shrinkage ratio and same size of yarn count, and the repeat intersection points on the weft yarns are either 61 or 131. The weft yarns in the 61 pattern alternate with the weft yarns in the 131 pattern, with two 61 weft yarns followed by one 131 weft yarn. This results in a woven fabric that performs like a knitted fabric but with the look of woven denim when the warp yarns are indigo dyed.
