WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS COEXISTENCE
One or more wireless communication systems may coexist at about the same geographical location and be configured to access the same radio channel. The coexistence of these systems may cause collisions and degrade throughput. Although countermeasures, such as reserving airtime with a resource assignment, may be taken to avoid collisions, these countermeasures are degrading throughput as well. The reserved airtime is reduced by adding a start time to the resource assignment. The reduced airtime may be used by others for performing a transmission, thus increasing the throughput and efficiency of the access to the radio channel.
WIRELESS RESOURCE CONTROL SYSTEM, WIRELESS BASE STATION, RELAY APPARATUS, WIRELESS RESOURCE CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Provided a relay apparatus arranged on a communication path between a content transmission apparatus and a wireless base station evaluates a communication quality relating to communication between the content transmission apparatus and the wireless terminal, and generates control information for controlling allocation of wireless resource for the wireless terminal, based on the control information.
Peer-to-Peer Forwarding for Packet-Switched Traffic
Establishing peer-to-peer tunnels between clients in a mobility domain. In normal operation, clients attached to a network having access nodes connected to a central controller transfer all traffic through the central controller. This traffic is passed using tunnels between the access node and the central controller. Tunnels may be encrypted, and GRE tunnels may be used. A mobility manager operating in the controller tracks access nodes connected to the controller, and clients connected to those access nodes. When the mobility controller recognizes traffic passing between clients in its mobility domain that is eligible for peer-to-peer forwarding, it instructs the access nodes supporting the clients to establish a peer-to-peer tunnel between the nodes, and direct the client traffic through this peer-to-peer tunnel. The peer-to-peer tunnel may be session based, or may be aged. Eligibility of traffic for peer-to-peer tunnels may be controlled by rules, such as limiting peer-to-peer tunnels by source or destination, by port or protocol, and the like.
SLAVE DEVICE CONTROL METHOD
The present disclosure relates a slave device control method including generating the control message including a plurality of input data and transmitting the control message to a specific slave device among a plurality of slave devices, by a master device, extracting input data from a received data start position of the control message, by the specific slave device, and padding output data to transmitted data storage position of the control message and transmitting the output data to a next slave device, by the specific slave device.
Systems and Methods for Routing Communications Within Global Payment Networks
Exemplary payment networks and methods are provided for facilitating data transfers. One exemplary method includes determining a subset of network routers that offer access to a regional hub based on network address summaries for first and second routers and prioritizing the first router over the second router, based on a specificity value of each of the first and second routers, as defined by the network address summaries. The method also includes checking whether a connection to the first router provides a viable data transfer path to the regional hub and recording the path to the first router in a routing table, when the connection to the first router is viable. Further, the method includes receiving a request to transfer data to the regional hub and transferring the data, via the path recorded in the routing table, to the regional hub.
Digital Signal Processing Over Data Streams
The techniques and systems described herein are directed to providing deep integration of digital signal processing (DSP) operations with a general-purpose query processor. The techniques and systems provide a unified query language for processing tempo-relational and signal data, provide mechanisms for defining DSP operators, and support incremental computation in both offline and online analysis. The techniques and systems include receiving streaming data, aggregating and performing uniformity processing to generate a uniform signal, and storing the uniform signal in a batched columnar representation. Data can be copied from the batched columnar representation to a circular buffer, where DSP operations are applied to the data. Incremental processing can avoid redundant processing. Improvements to the functioning of a computer are provided by reducing an amount of data that to be passed back and forth between separate query databases and DSP processors, and by reducing a latency of processing and/or memory usage.
VIRTUAL RESOURCE AUTOMATIC SELECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A virtual resource automatic selection system includes a setting unit that sets, for a plurality of pieces of training data composed of two or more parameters, a classification boundary between virtual resource clusters that are ranked in accordance with a capacity of a virtual resource in terms of a relationship between the two or more parameters. When a construction request for a new virtual network is received, a receiving unit receives information composed of the parameters. A determining unit determines to which of the virtual resource clusters the parameters belong. An allocating unit allocates a capacity of a virtual resource to the virtual network. An acquiring unit acquires network performance information from the virtual network. A second determining unit determines whether the network performance information satisfies a desired quality of service. The setting unit updates the classification boundary in accordance with a determination result of the second determining unit.
Enabling a tag to show status
System, method, and computer program product to display the status of tags applied to objects in a cloud computing environment, by comparing an attribute of an object to a criterion of a tag applied to the object, wherein the object is part of the cloud computing environment, and outputting for display a graphical representation of the tag, wherein the graphical representation comprises a text of the tag and an indication of a result of the comparison.
Allocating cloud storage based on storage attributes
A method of allocating cloud storage based on storage profiles includes receiving a storage request from a virtual machine associated with a tenant at a computing apparatus having connectivity to a network. The storage request is analyzed to determine one or more storage attributes of the storage request. An infrastructure is configured in a configuration based on the one or more storage attributes and data associated with the storage request is stored in the infrastructure in accordance with the configuration.
Scheduled network communication for efficient re-partitioning of data
A method, apparatus, and system for efficiently re-partitioning data using scheduled network communication are provided. Given re-partitioning data defining the data blocks to be sent amongst a plurality of server nodes, a corresponding network schedule is determined to send the data blocks in a coordinated manner. The network schedule is divided into time slots, wherein each of the plurality of server nodes can send up to one data block and receive up to one data block in each time slot. By using a greedy selection algorithm that prioritizes by largest senders and largest receivers, a near optimal schedule can be determined even in the presence of heavy skew. The greedy selection algorithm can be implemented with a O(T*N^2) time complexity, enabling scaling to large multi-node clusters with many server nodes. The network schedule is of particular interest for database execution plans requiring re-partitioning on operators with different keys.
