Information processing apparatus and route setting method
An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to perform a process which includes determining an address available to be set as a source address of a first packet to be transmitted to an apparatus included in a network; identifying one or more relay apparatuses in a communication route from the apparatus to the information processing apparatus; and configuring, for at least one of the identified relay apparatuses, a setting regarding a transfer destination of a second packet whose destination address is the determined address in such a manner that the second packet is transferred toward the information processing apparatus along the communication route.
Method, device and system for establishing on-demand route
The present invention relates to the field of network communication technologies, and discloses a method, a device, and a system for establishing an on-demand route. The method includes: determining that a stable route needs to be established; establishing the stable route and recording a route entry corresponding to the stable route in a route table; determining an effective time of the stable route, in which the effective time of the stable route is longer than the effective time of another common route; and performing an aging operation on the route entry according to the effective time of the stable route. With the present invention, requirements of different applications on the delay may be satisfied, and the consumption of the network bandwidth may be reduced.
Logical router with multiple routing components
Some embodiments provide a method for implementing a logical router in a network. The method receives a definition of a logical router for implementation on a set of network elements. The method defines several routing components for the logical router. Each of the defined routing components includes a separate set of routes and separate set of logical interfaces. The method implements the several routing components in the network. In some embodiments, the several routing components include one distributed routing component and several centralized routing components.
Methods, Network Node and Wireless Device for Handling Device Capabilities
A network node (200), a wireless device (202) and methods therein, for handling device capabilities. The wireless device (202) sends (2:1) a capability pointer to the network node (200), which capability pointer is associated with a capability configuration of the wireless device (202). The network node (200) then retrieves (2:2) said capability configuration based on the capability pointer from a capability database (204) or the like where a range of predefined capability configurations and associated capability pointers are maintained. The retrieved capability configuration can then be used in radio communication (2:3) with the wireless device (202).
Zero Touch Attachment of Devices to a SPB Network
Methods, systems and computer readable media for zero touch attachment of devices, such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices, to an SPB network are described.
New Instant Messaging(IM) routing method and router
This invention discloses a new Instant Messaging(IM) routing method and routers, to manage IM servers and provide network addressing, utilizing a management module and a routing module. Among them, the management module is used to maintain the router's own information and the information of IM servers, comprising of: (1) Unique identification Router ID(RID) for every IM router in the entire network, (2) Information of one or multiple servers that every IM router manages, (3) Unique identification Host ID(HID) of every IM server in the entire network,
The routing module provides routing method to facilitate the connectivity and communication between the IM servers based on the identification HID and identification RID. The significance of this invention is: Establishes a new form of IM network architecture by utilizing routing method and routers, allowing private, public IM servers to achieve reliable connectivity and communication, so as to fulfill the IM need of different businesses or organizations in a complex network environment.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TRANSMITTING BROADCAST DATA
The present invention discloses methods and systems for transmitting broadcast data at a communication gateway. When the communication gateway receives a broadcast packet from a host or node, the communication gateway determines whether the broadcast packet satisfies at least one condition. If the broadcast packet satisfies the at least one condition, it is determined whether or not to modify a time to live (TTL) value. The TTL value of the broadcast packet is modified if it is determined to modify the TTL value. The broadcast packet is then forwarded to the destination address of the broadcast packet based on the TTL value. The destination address is reachable through an interconnected network.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus in a mesh network, includes circuitry that, when the information processing apparatus is allocated as a root node for multicast transmission, transmits path request for multicast to other information processing apparatuses in the mesh network. The circuitry also determines a path for multicast based on responses received from the other information processing apparatuses, and performs multicast transmission of data via the determined path for multicast.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADDING ROUTING PATHS IN A NETWORK
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for providing multiple egress points from a telecommunications network for a client of the network. In particular, the process and system allows for multiple provider edges of the network to utilize a route reflector server to provide a border gateway protocol (BGP) route to other provider edges in the network. Further, the multiple provider edges may each announce similar interior gateway protocol (IGP) routes through the network such that a provider edge receiving a packet intended for the customer network may select from the multiple IGP routes to provide the intended packet to the customer network. In this manner, the receiving provider edge may load balance among the various connections of the customer network to the telecommunications network.
Method for acquiring content, user equipment and cache node
The present disclosure discloses a method for acquiring a content, a user equipment and a cache node. The method includes: a user equipment requests a target content from a management node; receives a first probe packet and a second probe packet, the first probe packet includes an identifier of a fragment of the target content and a shortest distance from the fragment to the user equipment on a first path, and the second probe packet includes the identifier of the fragment of the target content and a shortest distance from the fragment to the user equipment on a second path; determines an optimal path according to the shortest distance from the fragment to the user equipment on the first path and the shortest distance from the fragment to the user equipment on the second path; and sends a second acquiring request used for acquiring the fragment through the optimal path.
