Rechargeable battery
A rechargeable battery includes an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, a can in which the electrode assembly is accommodated, the can including an opening at one side, the opening being hermetically sealed by a cap plate, and a top plate on the cap plate. The top plate includes a first welding unit and a second welding unit that are coupled to the cap plate, and a third welding unit that is between the first welding unit and the second welding unit. The first welding unit is connected to the cap plate and includes first through third welding points. The first through third welding points collectively forming a triangular shape.
Rechargeable battery
A rechargeable battery includes an electrode assembly having first and second electrodes at opposite sides of a separator and wound about an axis; a first terminal coupled to the first electrode through a first tab; a second terminal coupled to the second electrode through a second tab; a case accommodating the electrode assembly and including first and second openings at its opposite ends; a first gasket between the first terminal and the first opening, the first gasket sealing the first opening and allowing the first terminal to protrude outside of the case; and a second gasket between the second terminal and the second opening, the second gasket sealing the second opening and allowing the second terminal to protrude outside of the case. The case may further include a fixing portion at its inner side that protrudes toward the electrode assembly.
Battery pack including a protection circuit module for unit batteries
A battery pack includes a plurality of unit batteries arranged side by side in a first direction, each unit battery including a can accommodating an opening including an electrode assembly having a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator between the electrode plates, and a cap plate sealing the opening. The plurality of unit batteries may be arranged side by side in the first direction with all the cap plates exposed in the same direction. The battery pack may further include a protection circuit module adjacent to the cap plate with a circuit board extending in the first direction and a protection device coupled to it, wherein each unit battery further includes a first terminal on a first area of the cap plate and a second terminal on a second area of the cap plate, each coupled to the unit battery and the protection circuit module.
Rechargeable battery
A rechargeable battery includes a case; an electrode assembly accommodating the case; a cap plate sealing an opening of the case; terminals electrically coupled to the electrode assembly and penetrating the cap plate; terminal plates on the cap plate and coupled to a respective one of the terminals; and a connecting member including a sinuous body located between the cap plate and the terminal plate to electrically couple the cap plate and the terminal plate.
Battery assembly and electronic cigarette using the same
This present application relates to a battery assembly and an electronic cigarette. The battery assembly comprises a battery including a first battery electrode and a second battery electrode. The battery assembly further includes a first charging electrode and a second charging electrode electrically connected to the first battery electrode and the second battery electrode correspondingly, and the battery assembly defines a first insertion hole and a second insertion hole at positions corresponding to the first charging electrode and the second charging electrode respectively; the first charging electrode and the second charging electrode are electrically connected to an external charger to supply charging power to the battery. By implementing the battery assembly and the electronic cigarette, the electronic cigarette can be directly inserted into the external charger to be charged, and the battery assembly and the atomization assembly do not need to be separated from each other.
Battery pack
A battery pack includes a first battery module having first and second battery frame assemblies and first and second battery cells. The first battery frame assembly has a plastic frame member, a thermally conductive plate, a busbar, and a voltage sensing member. The plastic frame member has a rectangular ring-shaped body. The thermally conductive plate is coupled to rectangular ring-shaped body. The busbar has a first post and a first conductive body coupled to the first post. The first post extends outwardly from the plastic frame member, and the first conductive body extends through the rectangular ring-shaped body. The voltage sensing member has a first sensing post and a first sensing body. The first sensing post extends outwardly from the rectangular ring-shaped body.
Terminal component and method of manufacturing terminal component
A terminal component includes an external terminal that is provided above a cover covering an electrode body; and an internal terminal that is provided below the cover and extends through a through-hole of the external terminal. A part of the internal terminal protrudes above the external terminal. A dimension of the part of the internal terminal in a radial direction of the through-hole is larger than a diameter of the through-hole. The external terminal has a joint surface that is a first part of an upper surface of the external terminal and that is joined to the internal terminal, and a non-joint surface that is a second part of the upper surface of the external terminal and that is located outside the joint surface. The joint surface is located higher than at least part of the non-joint surface.
Secondary battery and secondary battery array
A secondary battery and a secondary battery array are disclosed. In one aspect, the secondary battery includes an electrode assembly and a battery case accommodating the electrode assembly. The battery also includes a plurality of lead terminals comprising a first pair of lead terminals having opposite polarities and outwardly extending from the electrode assembly to protrude from a first side of the battery case and a second pair of lead terminals having opposite polarities and outwardly extending from the electrode assembly to protrude from a second side of the battery case opposing the first side. The battery further includes a plurality of insulation members respectively extending along the first and second pairs of lead terminals to at least partially cover the lead terminals.
FABRIC-FRIENDLY TYPE SECONDARY BATTERY PACKAGE
The present invention relates to a battery package attached to an external substrate, which includes an electronic circuit and a power terminal electrically connected to the electronic circuit, to supply power to the electronic circuit, or to accumulate energy by collecting power. A battery package, according to an exemplary embodiment, comprises: a battery unit that has one or more secondary battery cells and leads that are connected to the secondary battery cells and exposed; a flexible encapsulation body that accommodates the battery unit therein; exposed electrodes that are exposed on the surface of the flexible encapsulation body and are electrically connected to the leads to electrically connect to the electronic circuit; and a first Velcro part mounted on the surface of the flexible encapsulation body.
BATTERY MODULE
A battery module includes an array body in which a plurality of battery cells are arranged, a plurality of harnesses extending in an array direction of the battery cells in the array body and having connecting terminals of tips connected to electrode terminals of the predetermined battery cells, and a binding member configured to bind the plurality of harnesses in a harness bundle, wherein the harnesses branched off from the binding member have flexure between a position at which the harnesses are bound by the binding member and connecting positions of the electrode terminals and the connecting terminals.
