Provided is a display device equipped with a frame assembly that can prevent malfunction or failure of a control substrate attributable to internal heating and which has a simplified structure enabling easy production of a compact display device. The frame assembly includes: a first frame combined with a display panel; a second frame spaced from and combined with a rear surface of the first frame; and a third frame and a fourth frame that are combined with a rear surface of the second frame in a state in which the display panel is mounted. The first and second frames have respective openings, the third frame has a width larger than that of the fourth frame in a front-and-rear direction, and an upper portion of the display panel is inclined forward when the display device is installed such that the control substrate is vertically arranged.

MODULAR NETWORK SWITCHES, ASSOCIATED STRUCTURES, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE

Modular network switches and other computer systems are described herein. A modular network switch can include a latching device for installing and removing computer modules (e.g., line cards) from an associated cabinet or enclosure. The network switch can also include interconnected computer modules (e.g., line cards, fabric cards, control modules, etc.) that include circuit boards oriented parallel to the flow of cooling air through the cabinet in the absence of a backplane or midplane oriented perpendicular to the air flow. The absence of such backplanes and/or midplanes provides a more direct air flow path through the cabinet, thereby enabling a more efficient flow of cooling air and lower operating temperatures. Additionally, the network switch can include an orthogonal arrangement of data planes, control planes, and/or power planes that can be efficiently interconnected to increase operational speed and further facilitate the flow of cooling air through the computer cabinet.

Housing for receiving electronic components

A housing for receiving electronic components includes a housing body and a housing cover. The housing body and the housing cover are connected to one another at multiple fastening points. At least one of the fastening points is surrounded by recesses at least in part on the housing body or on the housing cover so that in the event of an internal pressure p.sub.in in the housing exceeding a predetermined threshold value p.sub.max the housing body or the housing cover deforms in the region of the at least one fastening point and a gap is formed between the housing body and the housing cover.

Provided is a multifunctional radio. A waveband lens, a volume knob, a frequency modulation knob, a switching key and an SOS key are arranged on an outer panel surface of a front shell. A hand rocker, a reading lamp and an antenna are arranged on a rear shell. A first placing groove and a second placing groove are respectively formed at the top and the bottom of the rear shell. A first power output module is arranged in the first placing groove. A second power output and input module is arranged in the second placing groove. A lighting lamp module, a lighting switch key and a reading lamp module are arranged on a radio shell.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE ATTACHMENT WITH ELECTRICAL ENERGY STORAGE
20170324260 · 2017-11-09 ·

A system, topology, and methods including apparatus for releasably secure attachment to an electronic device. The apparatus or a component of the apparatus may include an electrical energy storage element. The apparatus or a component of apparatus may be slidably coupled to an electronic device. The apparatus or a component of apparatus may be slidably coupled to an electronic device via a side, top, or base and rear of the electronic device. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

GLASS DEVICE HOUSINGS

An electronic device may have a glass housing structures. The glass housing structures may be used to cover a display and other internal electronic device components. The glass housing structure may have multiple glass pieces that are joined using a glass fusing process. A peripheral glass member may be fused along the edge of a planar glass member to enhance the thickness of the edge. A rounded edge feature may be formed by machining the thickened edge. Raised fused glass features may surround openings in the planar glass member. Multiple planar glass members may be fused together to form a five-sided box in which electronic components may be mounted. Raised support structure ribs may be formed by fusing glass structures to a planar glass member. Opaque masking material and colored glass may be used to create portions of the glass housing structures that hide internal device components from view.
