TEST SYSTEM FOR CHECKING ELECTRONIC CONNECTIONS OF COMPONENTS WITH A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD
A test system for checking electrical connections, especially solder connections, between electronic components with a circuit board to be checked, characterized in that the test system includes a communication interface with at least three electrically-conductive contact tips, which by contact with a contacting arrangement on the circuit board having a number of contacting locations enable a data exchange with a data memory and/or a communication module of a circuit board, wherein the data exchange occurs according to a communication protocol.
Electronic circuit with connection error indication function
An electrical outlet device includes a connection circuit having neutral, hot and ground terminals that are configured to be connected to a corresponding line of a power source. The device also includes an interface panel with a receptacle configured to receive a load. An indicator interface device is attached to the interface panel. The indicator interface device includes at least three sets of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and at least three switching circuits that are configured to turn the LED sets on and off. At least one combination of on/off states of the first, second and third LED sets indicates a correct connection or a unique type of error in a connection between the power source and the connection circuit.
Detection of deteriorated electrical connections in a meter using temperature sensing and time-variable thresholds
A utility meter includes a meter housing that supports at least one current coil, a temperature sensor, and a processing circuit coupled to both. The current coil can be coupled to receive heat energy from a meter socket. The temperature sensor disposed generates a sensor signal based on a temperature within the meter housing. The processing circuit obtains the sensor signal and generates meter temperature information based at least in part thereon. The processing circuit also obtains a first predetermined threshold based on at least one of time of day information and date information. The processing circuit also determines whether an abnormal condition exists by comparing the meter temperature information to a value based on the first predetermined threshold, and generates an output signal to a memory, display or communication circuit responsive to determining that the abnormal condition exists.
TRACEABLE AND LINKABLE NETWORKING CABLE
Disclosed are traceable (e.g., networking) cables and cable components (e.g., telltales, switches, and controllers). The disclosed networking cables may be (e.g., indirectly) connected such that signals may be communicated from one cable to another cable. For example, some such cables are configured such that when a switch of one cable is actuated, a controller connected to the switch sends signals to other controllers of the same cable and controllers of other connected cables to activate, inactivate, and/or change the operating mode of telltale(s) of the same cable and/or of other connected cables.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD, METHOD FOR DETERMINING ENGAGEMENT STATE BETWEEN PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A printed circuit board, a method for determining an engagement state between the printed circuit board and a flexible printed circuit, and a display device are provided. The printed circuit board includes a substrate, a connector fixed on the substrate, and configured to be connected with the flexible printed circuit, and a determining circuit connected with the connector. The secondary pin is added to the connector, and can determine together with the determining circuit, added to the substrate, connected with the secondary pin, an engagement state between the first pins of the connector, and the second pins of the flexible printed circuit.
TEST SYSTEM FOR CHECKING ELECTRONIC CONNECTIONS
Disclosed is a test system for testing electric connections, in particular soldered connections, between electronic components and a printed circuit board to be tested, characterized in that the test system includes a subassembly, which is movably mounted in a housing of the test system, and a current and/or voltage source for energizing the circuit board to be tested, the current and/or voltage source being arranged in the housing of the test system in such a way as to be movable in at least two directions in space.
Electronic Control Unit
There is provided an electronic control unit capable of detecting an abnormality of a dark current while suppressing increase in the size of a circuit. The electronic control unit includes a control unit that operates with a current supplied via a power-supply input terminal from a battery, and a diode arranged on a power supply path connecting the power-supply input terminal with the control unit and serving as a reverse connection protection element that prevents a reverse current when the battery is reversely connected to the power-supply input terminal, and detects an abnormality of a dark current flowing through the diode based on a voltage difference between a voltage on the power-supply input terminal side of the diode and a voltage on the control unit side.
Electrical network inspection devices
An electrical system can include a diagnostic device that generates a first test signal. The electrical system can also include multiple energy transfer links coupled to the diagnostic device, where the first test signals flows through a first subset of the energy transfer links. The electrical system can further include a first monitoring device coupled to the first subset of energy transfer links, where the first monitoring device receives the first test signal from the diagnostic device through the first subset of the energy transfer links. The electrical system can also include a first electrical device coupled to the first monitoring device. The first monitoring device can implement a first test procedure based on the first test signal, where the first test procedure helps determine a first condition of the first electrical device.
Device and method for detecting damage of electric product using digital signal
A method for detecting damage of a solder joint of a printed circuit board of an electronic product by using a device for detecting damage of an electronic product according to the present invention includes: generating a digital signal and applying the digital signal to the solder joint of the printed circuit board; measuring a signal transmitted through the solder joint of the printed circuit board; and determining whether the solder joint of the printed circuit board is damaged using the measured signal. Accordingly, the device for detecting damage of an electronic product according to the present invention can nondestructively examine damage of the electronic product by using the digital signal.
