Fertilizer-compatible composition
This invention relates to compositions compatible with liquid fertilizers and methods of use thereof.
AGRICULTURAL METHODS
A method for introducing a plant growth mediating entity or substance into plants and in particular a nitrogen-fixing bacteria into plant cell, said method comprising administering said plant growth mediating entity or substance into plants to a plant in combination with a strain of Terribacillus.
Compositions and bacteria for use in the method form a further aspect of the invention.
PLANT GROWTH-PROMOTING MICROBES AND USES THEREFOR
Microbial strains, compositions, and methods of use thereof to enhance the growth and/or yield of a plant are provided. Also provided are materials and methods for presenting, inhibiting, or treating the development of plant pathogens or phytopathogenic diseases. The disclosure also provides non-naturally occurring plant and derivatives thereof such as plants artificially infected with a microbial strain of the invention.
Micronutrient compositions and systems and methods of using same
An agricultural spray may be produced by admixing citric acid and glutamic acid with a metal salt and a pesticide or other agricultural chemical containing components capable of precipitating with the metal salt in the admixture. The citric acid and the glutamic acid chelate with the metal salt to provide a stability and compatibility-enhancing composition, thereby preventing the metal salt from forming an insoluble solid within the admixture. Such a composition may be produced by admixing citric acid and glutamic acid at a molar ratio of about 6.8:0.5 to about 1:0.29. The composition may include a metal sat, citric acid and glutamic acid in a molar ratio of about 1:6.8:0.5 to about 1:1:0.29 and a pesticide.
PORTABLE HYDROSEEDER SEED, MULCH AND FERTILIZER WATER DISSOLVABLE PACKET
A self-contained hydroseeding packet that can be quickly loaded into a portable hydroseeder having seed, mulch and fertilizer in a predetermined ratio bound by a tacifier. The seed, mulch and fertilizer dissolve into a slurry when combined with water. Optionally, the packet can have a color to identify areas previously seeded. The seed, fertilizer, and mulch are bound by a water soluble binding agent and is biodegradable.
Fertilizer compositions comprising a cellulose nutrient component and methods for using same
Aspects of the invention include compositions for fertilizing and remediating soil. Compositions according to certain embodiments include a cellulose nutrient composition, a microbial blend composition, a source of nitrogen, a source of phosphorus and exotic micronutrients. Methods for using compositions of the invention to fertilize and remediate soil and kits having one or more compositions for fertilizing and remediating soil are also described.
Method for drying spent filter media
Disclosed is a process of stabilizing spent filter material that comprises mixing the filter media with a dry media to produce a composition having a moisture content that is sufficiently low to retard microbial growth. The composition comprises spent filter media and a dry material, and preferably comprises diatomaceous earth. Soil is treated by adding the composition as a top dressing, soil amendment, or the like.
Agricultural biomass as a matrix for release of plant active compounds
The invention is directed to compositions comprising at least one agricultural biomass, at least one nitrogen source, at least one organic acid and at least one active agent wherein the agricultural biomass is impregnated with about 5% wt to about 45% wt of the active agent. Methods of their preparation and methods of use are also described. The composition effectively reduces the leaching of, and facilitates the metering of, loaded active agents for plant protection.
COMPOSITION FOR USE AS PESTICIDE, FERTILIZER, OR BOTH, AND USES THEREOF
The invention relates to compositions in which the phenolic compound thymol or carvacrol is solubilized or dispersed in water through the addition of a surfactant and a solvent. In certain embodiments is also comprised a further pesticide, a fertilizer, a defoamer, a plant growth regulator, or combinations thereof. Also taught are methods for the control of pests or for regulating the growth of plants through contacting the plants, their seeds, or soil in which they grow with said compositions.
Weed Control and Fertilizer
A composition for weed control and fertilizer comprising iron hydroxyl ethylenediaminetriacetic acid, micromate, feed grade urea, a natural-based wetting agent, molasses desurgarized solubles, and water, and may further comprise glycerin and/or preservatives, are provided. Methods for weed control and fertilization of plants comprising the steps of providing a composition comprising an effective amount of iron hydroxyl ethylenediaminetriacetic acid, micromate, feed grade urea, natural-based wetting agent, and molasses desurgarized solubles, and applying an effective amount of the composition to soil or a plant or a weed, are also provided.
