The present disclosure also provides methods for producing and using these formulations. The disclosure describes various formulations and formulating agents that can be included in the formulations. Additionally, the disclosures describes application to various plants and pests as well as advantages of the disclosed formulations.
METHOD AND COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVING PLANT GROWTH
Disclosed is a method and a composition for improving plant growth including applying to a plant, roots of a plant, soil or substrate, or seeds of plants inactive yeast and/or yeast derivatives and at least one nitrogen source.
MICROBIAL CONSORTIA
Disclosed herein are microbial consortia and compositions including microbes, for example, for use in agricultural or biodegradation applications. In some embodiments, soil, plants, and/or plant parts (such as seeds, seedlings, shoots, roots, leaves, fruit, stems, or branches) are contacted with a disclosed microbial consortia or composition including microbes. The microbial consortia or microbe-containing compositions may be applied to soil, plant, and/or plant parts alone or in combination with additional components (such as chitin, chitosan, glucosamine, amino acids, and/or liquid fertilizer). In additional embodiments, the disclosed microbial consortia or compositions including microbes are used in methods of degrading biological materials, such as chitin-containing biological materials.
FERTILIZER AND AGROCHEMICAL FORMULATION
A transparent, homogeneous liquiform fertilizer and agrochemical formulation that includes an active agrochemical that is not a fertilizer and a fertilizer together with glycol ether wherein the water solubility of the active agrochemical at 25 C. is more than 100 ppm is provided. The particle diameter of particles in the transparent, homogeneous liquiform fertilizer and agrochemical formulation is less than 100 nm by using a particle size distribution analyzer.
Microbial strains, compositions, and methods for increasing available phosphate for plants
The present invention relates to a novel phosphate solubilizing strain of Penicillium bilaiae, which is a hybrid of Penicillium bilaiae ATCC 22348 and Penicillium bilaiae V08/021001, as well as compositions and methods for using the novel phosphate solubilizing strain to increase the availability of phosphorous for plant uptake from soil.
Rooting agent for woody plants cutting
A rooting agent for woody plants cutting includes raw materials of: sodium naphthalene-1-acetate, naphthalene acetamide, catechol, vitamin C, oxadixyl-mancozeb, boric acid, white sugar and urea. The rooting agent of the present invention contains various beneficial substances and rich nutrients and is easy absorbing. The rooting agent is capable of effectively improving rooting rate of woody plants cutting, and plants which are difficult to root has a high rooting rate after applying the rooting agent.
Anti-fungal seed treatment formulations, treated seeds, and methods
A coated seed comprises a seed and a coating at least partially surrounding the seed. The coating comprises a fungicide, a micronutrient metal, and a chelating agent, the fungicide comprising copper (II) hydroxide, wherein the amount of copper (II) hydroxide is from about 0.05 mg/seed to about 0.21 mg/seed. A method for applying a seed treatment to a seed or a population of seeds comprises distributing on the surface of the seed or the population of seeds a seed treatment formulation comprising a fungicide, a micronutrient metal, and a chelating agent. The fungicide comprises copper (II) hydroxide in an amount ranging from about 2 wt. % to about 20 wt. % of the total seed treatment formulation.
PHYTOSANITARY COMPOSITION
The invention concerns a combination of ingredients comprising a fraction of palm, a fraction of bamboo, a fraction of an aquatic plant, a fraction of tropical forest tree, milk, feather and urine and/or earthworm excrements, said ingredients having undergone fermentation, as well as its use as phytosanitary composition and in particular fertilizer and the manufacture of a sanitary composition.
Cultivation of selenium-rich Cyclocarya paliurus plant, extraction and use of active ingredients thereof
The present invention relates to cultivation of a selenium-rich Cyclocarya paliurus plant, extraction and use of active ingredients thereof, for overcoming disadvantages of high residue, poor absorption, and less environmental friendliness of fertilizers used in cultivation of a selenium-rich plant in the prior art, and overcoming disadvantages of low absorption rate and high adverse reaction rate in current extraction method and application of active ingredients in a selenium-rich plant. The present invention provides a method of cultivating a selenium-rich Cyclocarya paliurus plant, comprising use of a selenium-rich organic fertilizer during the cultivation, wherein the selenium-rich organic fertilizer comprises a selenium-rich yeast, a humic acid, an amino acid, a plant growth regulator and a foliar penetration enhancer. The present invention also provides a method for extracting active ingredients of the selenium-rich Cyclocarya paliurus plant obtained by the above method, comprising pretreatment, extraction, concentration and alcohol precipitation to obtain a crude extract.
