Techniques for user equipment (UE) assisted uplink resource modification in a wireless communication system
The present application relates to user equipment (UE) assisted uplink resource modification. In one implementation, a UE may determine an upcoming absence of uplink data for transmission on an uplink communication channel to a network entity during a period defined by a configured grant, and transmit a message to the network entity to trigger adjustment of at least one resource associated with the configured grant. In another implementation, a network entity may receive a message from a UE representing an upcoming absence of uplink data on an uplink communication channel during a scheduled period defined by a configured grant, and adjust at least one resource associated with the configured grant in response to receiving the message
System and method of providing a medium access control scheduler
A method of operating an uplink scheduler as part of a medium access control scheduler on a satellite includes selecting, from a plurality of user terminals, a first number of zero-bandwidth request user terminals from the plurality of user terminals, selecting, from the plurality of user terminals, a second number of non-zero-bandwidth request user terminals from the plurality of user terminals, binning the second number of non-zero-bandwidth request user terminals into a plurality of bins based on a respective bandwidth requirement for each non-zero-bandwidth request user terminal and based on a minimum user terminal grant and allocating, according to a grant allocation algorithm, a respective grant of radio resources in an uplink frame to each user terminal of the plurality of user terminals into a respective bin of the plurality of bins in an order associated with increasing bandwidth needs. A downlink scheduler is also disclosed.
BASE STATION APPARATUS, TERMINAL APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND INTEGRATED CIRCUIT
A terminal apparatus includes: a reception unit configured to receive an MIB that configures a first CORESET, receive an SIB1 that configures a second CORESET, receive first information that configures an initial UL BWP and second information that configures an additional UL BWP, and receive a first DCI format that schedules a PUSCH in a common search space; and a transmission unit configured to specify a set of allocated resource blocks based on a first field included in a first DCI format and transmit a PUSCH in an active UL BWP, the active UL BWP being either the initial UL BWP or the additional UL BWP, the first value indicated by a first field is provided based on the size of the initial UL BWP, a first start position that is a start position of a set of allocated resource blocks, and the number of first resource blocks continuously allocated, and the common search space is used for a random access procedure.
UPLINK CHANNEL TIMELINE ISSUES WITH EXTENDED CYCLIC PREFIX
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may indicate support of an extended cyclic prefix (ECP), where a duration of the ECP or transmitting the ECP is based on the indication. In some cases, the UE may receive an uplink grant to transmit an uplink message with an indication of the ECP, and the UE may transmit the ECP and uplink message according to a timeline based in part on the ECP. Additionally or alternatively, an uplink channel allocation indicated in the uplink grant may include a starting point for the ECP, where the UE transmits the ECP at the starting point. In some cases, the UE may multiplex uplink control information (UCI) in the uplink channel based on a timeline that is based in part on the ECP.
Methods And Apparatus For Disabling Of Option 1 Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) Feedback For Sidelink Communication
A method includes receiving a first indicator indicating distance based HARQ feedback operation with negative acknowledgement only and a first sidelink message grant; and determining that location information associated with a first communication device is unavailable, and based thereon, transmitting a second indicator indicating that location information is unavailable.
SELECTING DESTINATION BASED ON HARQ FEEDBACK
A method and apparatus for selecting a destination based on hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback in a wireless communication system is provided. A first wireless device selects a destination, from multiple destinations, having a first logical channel with a highest priority among multiple logical channels having data available for transmission. The HARQ feedback is disabled for the first logical channel. The first wireless device selects one or more second logical channels not configured with the HARQ feedback among the multiple logical channels.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING SL COMMUNICATION ON BASIS OF RESOURCE ALLOCATION MODE 1 IN NR V2X
Provided are a method for performing wireless communication by a first device and a device for supporting same. The method comprises: receiving, from a base station, information related to a configured grant (CG) resource, wherein the CG resource includes at least one of a first resource related to CG type 1 or a second resource related to CG type 2; receiving, from the base station, information related to a dynamic grant (DG) resource; and performing a first sidelink (SL) transmission based on one of the CG resource or the DG resource.
TERMINAL AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD
A terminal according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a transmitting section that transmits a configured grant-based uplink shared channel, a receiving section that receives downlink control information which indicates retransmission of the uplink shared channel, and a control section that controls the retransmission based on a priority configured for the retransmission of the uplink shared channel.
BUFFER STATUS REPORTING METHOD, RELAY TERMINAL DEVICE, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A buffer status reporting method, a relay terminal device, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. The buffer status reporting method includes: determining data information of to-be-transmitted data, where the to-be-transmitted data is data which is about to be sent by a remote terminal device to a network device through a relay terminal device; generating a target buffer status report based on the data information, where the target buffer status report is a to-be-sent buffer status report; and reporting the target buffer status report to the network device.
CONDITIONAL UPLINK GRANT IN UNLICENSED SPECTRUM
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel access in an unlicensed spectrum. An example method of wireless communication by a user equipment includes receiving a resource grant indicating a plurality of resource candidates for an uplink signal. The method also includes sensing for energy, in response to the resource grant, over one or more of the resource candidates in a first sensing occasion before a transmission occasion of the uplink signal. The method further includes transmitting, during the transmission occasion, the uplink signal using a subset of the resource candidates selected based at least in part on energy sensed in the first sensing occasion.
