Correctional institution legal postal mail processing system and method
A method and system for eliminating contraband in legal postal mail at a correctional facility comprising of a facility-use legal mail scanning station and a network of inmate-accessible devices and or messaging systems such that correctional institution staff can inspect the legal mail for contraband without violating an inmate's right to privacy for such mail. The legal mail is scanned by the staff member or inmate under the supervision of a staff member and then shredded or placed into the inmate's personal property in secure storage. The scanned mail may then be made available to the intended inmate through the inmate-accessible devices or printed at the scanning station to ensure the elimination of contraband.

System and methods for scoring telecommunications network data using regression classification techniques
Systems and methods provide a demand forecasting and network optimization for telecommunications services in a network. The systems and methods use classical and quantum computing devices. The computing devices evaluate data types using statistical symmetry recognition and operate between classical and quantum environments. Computing devices receive deposited data, batch data, and streamed data that relates to telecommunications services and segregate the data into spatial and temporal factors. The computing devices receive an analytic request for a forecast of the telecommunications services and conduct a multi-class plural-factored elastic cluster (MPEC) analysis for the telecommunications services using the segregated data. The MPEC analysis includes generating vectors comprised of slopes from plural coefficients to determine demand elasticity from plural features. The computing devices generate, based on the multi-class plural-factored elastic cluster model, a real-time demand-based forecast for the telecommunications services, and output the demand-based forecast.
Systems and methods for on-demand mobile device postage printing and user access to printed postage indicium
Systems and methods which provide postage indicia using mobile communication handsets are shown. According to embodiments, users are enabled to introduce mail pieces into a mail delivery stream which are accepted as having acceptable postage indicia having value associated therewith without the use of traditional metering systems or processor-based postage generation and printing systems. Instead, a mobile communication handset is used to obtain tokens to be used as postage indicia. The tokens may be transmitted to or otherwise printed by appropriate, available printing equipment, such as facsimile machines, network printers, network photo copiers, etc., in response to a request by a mobile communication handset for postage indicia. The foregoing tokens may be printed upon various stock for inclusion with or as a mail piece. The mail piece bearing the token may be placed into the mail stream for processing and delivery using the token as activated as postage indicia.
INTERACTIVE NETWORK AND METHOD FOR SECURING CONVEYANCE SERVICES
The inventive platform and method enhance the efficiency of systems in the interactive conveyance industry for goods and services by providing for the filtering, selection and securing of conveyance services in accordance with one or more of client and representative preferences in substantially real time.
Multinode distributed integrity of producing files
A system of producing files containing information about printed mailpieces comprising a plurality of folder inserters (22, 24, 26) each having a reading device for extracting at least a job ID and a mailpiece ID, the system comprising at least: a processing node (32, 34, 36) adapted to check the job ID and mailpiece ID from the printed mailpiece and to check out a relevant job against locally held rules; a storage node (38) connected to the processing node and adapted to store the job ID and mailpiece ID sent by the processing node; and an interface node (40) connected to the storage node and adapted to import and export the files.

SYSTEM FOR MONITORING A NETWORK FORMED BY A PLURALITY OF DEVICES
A system (10) for monitoring a network is formed by a plurality of devices (12), each device (12) of the plurality of devices having at least one status sensor (13) measuring at least one physical parameter of the device (12). The system (10) further has a monitoring platform (14) communicating with the at least one status sensor (13) by means of a telecommunications network (16).
Digital stamps
Systems, methods, and media for the delivery of physical items using a digital stamp. Various implementations include operations such as receiving a request from a user to deliver an item to a destination using a digital stamp, wherein the item includes destination information and lacks any physical indicator that the delivery fee for the item has been paid or will be paid; receiving a destination address from the user; determining a delivery fee for the item; and generating a digital stamp using the destination address, the delivery fee, and user account information for the user. The operations may also include obtaining an image of the item including the destination information; determining, from the image, that the item lacks any physical indicator regarding the delivery fee; checking for a digital stamp corresponding to the item; and directing the item for delivery to the destination information, if the digital stamp is found.
