System, Method And Apparatus For Verified Mailing Documents And Process Preparation
A system, method and apparatus for verified mailing documents and process preparation are disclosed. The disclosed comprise of a trusted agent, being a device adapted for secure verification of a person or entity that transmits a certified mailed document, a data source or engine from whose data a verified document may be generated, a mailing request recipient means adapted to receive requests to mail and/or transmit a certified document to an address of service, and a verification means to verify the authenticity of a requesting person or entity, preferably using biometric authentication means.
Digitized mail control system
Described is a digitized mail control system. The system may include a server having a memory storing mail data associated with a user and a user computing device coupled to the server. The server may be programmed to receive an access signal from the user computing device that has accessed the system. In response to receiving the access signal, the server may process the user data and locate the stored mail data associated with the user data. The server may then create and send for execution on the user computing device instruction to display mail data including sender information and action buttons associated with predetermined actions to take in response to the sender information. The server may receive a signal including a selected action associated with a selected action button with regard to a selected sender and automatically execute program code corresponding to the selected action.

An approach is provided for retrieving physical mail items using Augmented Reality (A/R) technology. According to the approach, mail items are stored in a designated area of a mail item facility and users are notified that the mail items are available for pickup. The users are guided to the locations of their respective mail items in the mail item facility via A/R technology. This includes superimposing visual cues on a live image displayed on a mobile computing device to direct the users to locations of their mail items. Embodiments include dynamically updating the visual cues based upon the location and orientation of the mobile computing device, providing “out of view” assistance, and displaying information about mail items.

The method further includes processing, in a processor the image, to generate a data item determined by the information item. The method further includes decoding the data item to determine a set of attributes of the distribution item. The method further includes retrieving content associated with the distribution item using at least one of the attributes in the set of attributes. The method further includes delivering content associated with the distribution item.
