Ergonomic holder and method for handheld support of a tablet computer
An ergonomic holder and method of supporting a tablet computer by hand includes a base and a handle. The base is configured to operatively connect to the tablet computer for supporting the tablet computer thereon. The handle projects from the base. The handle also at least partially defines a forefinger sleeve and at least partially defines a thumb sleeve for receiving a forefinger and a thumb of the hand. The forefinger sleeve projects relative to the thumb sleeve such that the forefinger sleeve and the thumb sleeve intersect at a predetermined gripping angle for supporting the tablet computer in a plurality of hand positions.
Assembly for storing and deploying for use a handheld digital device
An assembly for storing and deploying for use a hand held digital device, the assembly incorporating a case adapted for nestingly receiving the hand held digital device; a first pin and socket fastener having upper and lower halves, the upper half being fixedly attached to or formed wholly with the case; a flexible lanyard; a pair of loops interconnecting the flexible lanyard and the first pin and socket fastener's lower half; a base; a second pin and socket fastener; and a hinge mount interconnecting the second pin and socket fastener and the base; the first pin and socket fastener's socket being adapted to function as the second pin and socket fastener's pin.
MULTIMEDIA DEVICE AND POWER MANAGEMENT METHOD THEREOF
A multimedia device for effectively managing power consumption thereof based on a handle that is used when moving the multimedia device is provided. The multimedia device includes a display, a handle attached to the multimedia device, a sensor for sensing the state of the handle, a power supplier, and a controller configured to block power being supplied to the display, when a sensing value of the sensor indicates a state in which the handle is used.
COMBINATION STRAP AND STAND SUPPORT FOR TABLETS AND HAND HELD ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A support for a portable electronic device, the support having a case that is configured to receive and hold the portable electronic device. A strap is coupled to the case and configured for fitting around an appendage of a user and allowing the user to support the case relative to the appendage. A support stand is coupled to the case independently of the strap and includes a portion that is swivelable away from the case and is configured, when swiveled away from the case, for supporting the case on an external surface in an angled arrangement relative to the external surface. Optionally, the base is positioned on a back plane of the case, and a rotational mechanism is coupled between the base and the case such that the case is rotatable relative to the base.
Customizable carrier for a portable electronic device
A customizable carrying case (20) for a portable electronic device has a shell (22) and a strand (36). Shell (22) has a first attachment area (50) and a second attachment area (52) to which a first end (44) and a second end (46) of strand (36) is attached. First end (44) and second end (46) of strand (36) can be detached from first attachment area (50) and a second attachment area (52), permitting a user to interchange more than one strand (36) with shell (22), as a user desires. Static first attachment area (50) and a second attachment area (52) ensures that the portable electronic deviceremains facing a direction that user desires.
Wearable Computing Device Accessory for Mitigating Radio Frequency Radiation
An accessory for a computing device includes: a cradle defining a volume configured to receive the computing device, the cradle including: (i) an interior surface facing the volume and configured to engage with a housing of the computing device; and (ii) an exterior surface opposite the interior surface; and a conductive shield disposed between the volume and an object, the conductive shield configured to reduce radiation emitted by an antenna of the computing device towards the object.
Wearable and replaceable pouch or skin for holding a portable battery pack
A wearable pouch operable to hold at least one portable battery pack and other power or communications equipment. The wearable pouch includes a main body with a front side, a back side opposite the front side, at least one scalable opening, and at least one opening for at least one lead from the at least one portable battery pack secured within the wearable pouch.
GRIP FOR A FOLDABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An expandable device for attachment to a portable electronic device having first and second surfaces includes a button having a top side, a bottom side, and a coupling portion and further includes an elongated body having a top side, a bottom side, and a platform coupling portion. The button is movable between an expanded position and a collapsed position. The bottom side of the platform engages a portion of the portable electronic device and the platform coupling portion engages the coupling portion of the button. When coupled to the positioning platform, the button is movable between a first position where the button is positioned along the first surface of the portable electronic device and a second position where the button is positioned along the second surface of the portable electronic device.
