An article of headwear including a crown component, a brim component, and an elongated attachment component is provided. The attachment component is configured to attach the brim component to the crown component. The attachment component may include a female-type engagement element along a first elongated edge of the attachment component and a flange element along a second elongated edge of the attachment component. The second elongated edge is opposite to the first elongated edge. The female-type engagement element has first and second arms defining therebetween an elongated channel having a length and a depth. The flange element extends in a direction transverse to the length of the channel. The crown component is attached to the flange element. The brim component includes a connection region configured for insertion into the channel. An article of headwear having an attachment component for attaching decorative elements to the headwear is also provided.

A modified baseball hat that includes a semi-hemispherically shaped crown that includes an exterior surface, an interior surface, a first front panel that includes a first opening, a second front panel that includes a second opening, a first side panel that includes a first loop attached to an interior surface of the crown near the first side panel, and a second side panel that includes a second loop attached to an interior surface of the crown near the second side panel, a bill attached to the crown, and a band member extending through the first opening, the second opening, the first loop, and the second loop.

A transport hood protects conveying personnel from exposure to blood and body fluids of a detainee and avoids discomfort and breathing difficulty to the detainee if the blood and body fluids accumulate and are retained within the transport hood. The transport hood includes a top portion made of an open mesh material that is positioned over the head of the detainee to below the eyes of the detainee. A bottom portion made of a breathable material impervious to the blood and body fluids of the detainee is joined to the top portion below the eyes of the detainee and extends downwardly to below the chin of the detainee. The bottom portion has a plurality of perforations formed through the breathable material that allow the blood and body fluids issued by the detainee to drain from the bottom portion of the transport hood under the influence of gravity.

A folding hat that eliminates the risk of damaging the cloth by an elastic ring for a long life. The folding hat has the elastic ring sewn in an outer circumferential edge of a brim, and the elastic ring is formed by coupling both ends of a flat wire rod shaped by rolling spring steel round wire. Regarding the elastic ring, both ends of the flat wire rod are preferably coupled by: inserting both ends of the flat wire rod in both sides of a tubular metal stop, respectively; and crushing the metal stop. The metal stop has a pair of facing convex parts on which the tips of both ends of the flat wire rod can respectively abut at an inner center part that may be used.

The present invention is a removable, reusable and interchangeable multi-shell lining configured for placement within a hat member, cap or any sort of head-wear for adjustable thermal comfort, moisture retention, reduction of friction thus reducing frizz and breakage of naturally dry and curly hair. The lining is comprised of a satin outer shell, satin-encased thermal middle shell and waterproof inner shell. The three shells, which are not bonded together, provide optimal moisture retention, reduction of friction of hair and thermal comfort. The present invention provides hats with attachment assemblies allowing them to be detachably secured to an article of clothing. In one example, the attachment assembly permits the hat to be detachably secured in an exterior-side out configuration to a belt of medium width worn around the wearer's waist, without requiring the hats to be inverted or reversed, and without any need for pockets, linings, zippers or the like. The hats may also be provided with retention members for holding the hats in a simple folded configuration when carried on the person. In such a configuration small personal items such as keys, loose change, mobile telephones may be carried in the retained, folded hat.

According to various embodiments, a transformable article of clothing comprises a central tubular portion coupled to a first member and a second member is configurable between a shawl and a scarf. In another embodiment, a transformable article of clothing comprises a first continuous loop coupled to a second continuous loop and is configurable among a hat, a hood, a scarf and a hand warmer. In yet another embodiment, an article of clothing comprises a mask portion and an ear muffler portion selectively retained on ears of the wearer. In still another embodiment, a transformable glove comprises a hand portion, a thumb portion, a first finger portion and a second finger portion with an opening in at least one of thumb and finger portions.

An upper body article of clothing has a hood and a pump for filling an airtight inflatable inner space in the hood with air or other gas. The inflatable inner space extends along parts of the hood around the neck and over the head of a person wearing the article.
