Camera placement guidance
The description relates to cameras, such as security cameras, and providing guidance for positioning cameras to achieve desired goals. One example can receive an image of a scene overlaid with transparent indicators that reflect accuracy of object detection in individual regions of the image. The example can correlate input received from the user on the display relative to the regions. The example can analyze subsequent images of the scene with rules derived from the input from the user.
Photoelectric transducer and imaging system
A photoelectric transducer includes a wiring structure and a photoelectric conversion section provided on a substrate. The photoelectric conversion section includes a first electrode and a photoelectric conversion layer provided on the first electrode. The wiring structure includes a first wiring layer including a wiring pattern. The distance between the bottom face of the first electrode and the substrate is shorter than the distance between the bottom face of the wiring pattern and the substrate.
System for detecting sterile field events and related methods
A system is for monitoring a sterile field associated with a medical procedure. The system may include a sensor being adjacent an area where the medical procedure is to be performed. The sensor is configured to monitor at least the area, a patient for the medical procedure, and a medical technician for the medical procedure. The system may include a processor coupled to the sensor and configured to detect a sterile field event, and an associated location for the sterile field event, and an output device coupled to the processor and configured to generate an alert indicator when the sterile field event is detected, the alert indicator also including the associated location.
Image capture device with restoration processing and image restoration processing method
A first restoration processing section 110 and a second restoration processing section 120 perform restoration processing on images (luminance data Y), which are successively captured by an image capture section, using a first filter 102, which is a restoration filter generated corresponding to a point spread function of an optical system, and a second filter 104 of which a restoration strength is weaker than that of the first filter 102. Depending on a result of determination which is input from an in-focus determination section 150 and indicates whether or not the image at the current time point is in a target in-focus state, a selection section 122 selects and outputs either luminance data Y.sub.A which is processed using the first filter 102 or luminance data Y.sub.B which is processed using the second filter 104.
Shooting apparatus with stabilizer module
A stable and controllable shooting apparatus, comprising a shooting module, a stabilizer module and a main control module, wherein the shooting module and the stabilizer module are respectively connected with the main control module, the stabilizer module comprises a handheld part and an X-axis motor, a Y-axis motor, and a Z-axis motor which are arranged at top of the handheld part and are orthogonal in a space, wherein a stator of the Z-axis motor is connected with the handheld part, a rotor of the Z-axis motor is connected with a stator of the Y-axis motor, a rotor of the Y-axis motor is connected with a stator of the X-axis motor, and a rotor of the X-axis motor is connected with the shooting module. The stable and controllable shooting apparatus may be quickly stabilized during moving shooting and its shooting direction may be controlled.
Color reconstruction
In one embodiment, coloring artifacts of a color image output by a camera are minimized by taking into account a distortion introduced by the lens. Based on the distortion, the color reconstruction determines which pixels in the grayscale image to include in the reconstruction process. Additionally, the color reconstruction can take into account edges depicted in the grayscale image to determine which pixels to include in the reconstruction process. In another embodiment, coloring artifacts in a 360 degree color image are minimized by performing the color reconstruction process on a three-dimensional surface. Before the color reconstruction takes place, the two-dimensional grayscale image is projected onto a three-dimensional surface, and the color reconstruction is performed on the three-dimensional surface. The color reconstruction on the three-dimensional surface can take into account the distortion produced by the lens and/or can take into account the edges depicted in the two-dimensional and three-dimensional grayscale image.
Digital ledger camera and image functions
A camera module includes an imaging sensor that outputs raw image sensor data representative of a scene and an imaging logic engine that processes the raw image sensor data into image data in a predetermined image format. The imaging logic engine carries out a hash function to generate a hash of the image data and adds a genesis block of a digital ledger as part of the image data so that the genesis block is part of the image data in an image file output by the camera module, the genesis block containing the hash.
Lens driving apparatus, camera module, and camera-equipped mobile terminal
A lens driving apparatus includes: a movable section including a lens holder, a lens holder moving section, and a driving magnets; a camera-shake correction second coil configured to move the movable section in a second direction and a third direction in cooperation with the driving magnet; wherein the lens holder moving section comprises: a magnet holder; a lower leaf spring; an upper leaf spring; and a damper compound, the damper compound is disposed in the vicinity of the upper leaf spring so as to enclose at least one suspension wire, and the lens holder moves in the first direction in a space having an octagonal shape as viewed in a plane orthogonal to a first direction along an optical axis, the space being defined by the lens holder moving section and the driving magnets.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and program
Noise is sufficiently reduced in a moving image. A determination section determines, each time an input image is input, whether a change amount of a pixel value distribution in the input image and an output image that is output is smaller than a predetermined threshold value. A mixing ratio supply section supplies a value that becomes larger as the number of times the change amount is sequentially determined to be smaller than the predetermined threshold value becomes larger, the value serving as a mixing ratio of the output image in mixing of the input image and the output image. A mixing section mixes, each time the input image is input, the input image and the output image based on the supplied mixing ratio and outputs the input image and the output image to serve as a new output image.
