A fitness ball includes a ball portion having a generally spherical-shaped resilient shell, a pocket disposed in the ball portion and defining an opening in the ball portion, and a handle extending from a first point on an inner surface of the pocket to a second point on the inner surface of the pocket. In some embodiments, the fitness ball further includes an impact-absorbent filler material disposed in an inner cavity defined by the resilient shell and the pocket. In other embodiments, the fitness ball includes one or more gel inserts embedded in the pocket to cushion impact of a user's hand with the pocket. In other embodiments, the pocket is adhered to the resilient shell by an adhesive disposed between an interfacing portion of the resilient shell and a corresponding lip of the pocket which overlaps the interfacing portion of the resilient shell.

An elongated hand thrown projectile comprises a projectile body having a forward end and a rearward end with a projectile axis extending between the forward end and the rearward end. A finger grip having a longitudinal grip axis is attached to the projectile body. In an exemplary embodiment, a thumb grip comprising a planar portion is attached to the projectile body at a position longitudinally between the projectile forward end and the finger grip. The thumb grip and the finger grip are separated by a distance such that the thumb and finger of a single hand can simultaneously grip the thumb grip and finger grip. The elongated hand thrown projectile assists a pitcher in learning to throw with a linear, single-plane motion.

A strike training attachment for a heavy bag may include a ball member sized according to the diameter of a typical adult human fist. The ball member may be resilient. The strike training attachment includes a loop member disposed on an outer surface of the ball member. The loop member may be attachably co-operable with a hang-mounting member of a heavy bag.

A golf aide is described for providing tactile feedback to a user during a golf swing. The golf aide has a shaft (12) with a golf grip (11), an arm (14) having a linking element (13) coupling the arm (14) to the shaft (12) at a first end of the arm (14), and a tactile indicator (15) arranged at a distal end of the arm (14) opposite the linking element (13). The tactile indicator has a width greater than a width of the arm and the shaft (12), arm (14) and tactile indicator (15) are fixedly arrangeable such that the distance and angle between a portion of the golf grip to be gripped during a golf stroke and the tactile indicator is equivalent to a predetermined target distance and angle between hands and a lateral upper arm portion of an inside arm of a user at an apex of a backswing of a golf stroke.

A golf training device with audio and visual/touch cues for independent golf swing training in an absence of a golf instructor includes a tube having a first end and a second end and an outer surface. A hand grip is disposed at least in part about the outer surface of the tube. A sliding mass is disposed slidingly within the tube, the sliding mass including a chamfer on at least one end of the sliding mass. A ball holding rod is mechanically coupled to the second end of the tube has a ball hold rod first end and a ball hold rod second end. A ball is mechanically coupled to the second end of the ball holding rod. A club head stem extends into a club head, the club head stem is mechanically coupled to the first end of the tube to rigidly affix the club head to the tube.

An apparatus including a bar having a length substantially greater than a width, and a longitudinal axis along its length; a member which is connected to the bar and aligned with the bar along the same longitudinal axis; and connected to the bar so that the member rotates with respect to the bar, about the longitudinal axis. The objective of the present invention is to provide a stability ball case configured to store a stability ball therein and, especially, having a weight thereon to prevent the stored stability ball from rolling, thereby avoiding a safety accident that may happen when the stability ball rolls and drops, as well as storing the stability ball at a desired place in a safe and convenient manner. particularly, another objective of the present invention is to provide a stability ball case configured such that a weight can be attached to and detached from a body constituting the case, whereby the weight can be separated from the body when the case is washed, or when the stability ball is carried, thereby enabling the stability ball case to be safely used and stored, as well as being conveniently used.

A hammer with an elongate handle having a longitudinal axis, a proximal end and a distal end; a protrusion mounted at the distal end of the handle having a pin and a notch therethrough oriented along a transverse axis relative to the longitudinal axis and a flexible generally geometrically uniform mass affixed to the handle at the distal end thereof. The mass is molded onto the distal end of the handle whereby at least part of the mass extends through and fully occupies a channel in the handle and cooperates with the pin to secure the mass to the handle.
