SECURE PORTABLE, ON-DEMAND, MICROFLUIDIC MIXING AND DISPENSING DEVICE
A dispensing device, comprising a plurality of microfluidic pumps, microfluidic valves, and a microfluidic mixer chip, for receiving and mixing microfluidic amounts of a plurality of fluids having differing viscosities, is disclosed. The device includes a plurality of pathways for moving fluids from associated reservoirs to the microfluidic mixer chip. A mix controller controls the microfluidic pumps and valves so that the fluids, having different viscosities, can be accurately mixed at specified microfluidic amounts or volumes according to a specified microfluidic recipe, and the microfluidic mixture dispensed from the device. The device can be in communication with a software application implemented on a mobile compute device, such as a smartphone, and receive instructions for implementing the specified microfluidic recipe from the software application such that the operation of device components is at the direction of the software application executed on the mobile compute device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ISOLATION AND SUBSEQUENT DISPENSATION OF NATURAL PRODUCTS
Disclosed herein are systems and methods whereby raw materials are extracted, refined to a point where pure natural-product compounds are isolated and then packaged into formulation cartridges, which are then used in an extract formulator to produce reproducible natural-product extracts based on predetermined formulations.
HIGH-FLOW, HIGH-PRESSURE INLINE SATURATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
There is provided an inline saturator system and method for gas exchange with an aqueous-phase liquid. The system comprises a pressure vessel, configured to receive a first liquid and a first gas from external sources and to discharge a second liquid and a second gas from the pressure vessel, and a gas infusion device situated within the pressure vessel. The gas infusion device is configured to receive the first liquid and first gas, to facilitate gas exchange therebetween, producing the second liquid and the second gas, and to discharge the second liquid and second gas into the pressure vessel. The system further includes a recirculation system configured to direct a portion of liquid within the pressure vessel back into the saturator device, where injection of the redirected liquid into the gas infusion device forces the first liquid into the gas infusion device for the gas exchange.
System and method for liquid disinfection
The efficiency of water disinfection can be significantly increased by supplying the ozone in combination with oxygen to an inlet of a cavitation pump or a line atomizer. A compressor can be introduced at an inlet of the cavitation pump or the line atomizer, compressing the gas mixture at a pressure higher than the pressure within pump or the atomizer. The compressed gases are provided to the inlet of the atomizer or the pump, where the compressed gases mix with the water and enter the cavitation pump or the line atomizer (where most of the dissolution of the gases happens). The compressor allows to increase the amount of oxygen and ozone provided to the pump or the line atomizer, increasing their dissolved concentration. In addition to the disinfecting properties, the higher level of oxygen correlates to an improved taste of the water.
Multifunctional blending equipment
The present invention discloses multifunctional blending equipment, including a clear water supply system, an injection system, more than two mixing systems, more than two powder storage and delivery systems, a mixing tank, a discharge system, and an electrical control system. One path of the clear water supply system is piped into the mixing tank, and another path of the clear water supply system is connected to the input end of the infection system. An output end of the injection system is connected in parallel with more than two mixing systems. The number of the powder storage and delivery systems is equal to that of the mixing systems. Each powder storage and delivery system is correspondingly connected to one mixing system. Output ends of the more than two mixing systems are all connected into the mixing tank. An output end of the mixing tank is connected to the discharge system. The clear water supply system, the injection system, the mixing systems, the powder storage and delivery systems, the mixing tank, and the discharge system are controlled by the electrical control system. Beneficial effects: The blending equipment can implement various blending processes at the same time, which is integrally skid mounted, and occupies small space.
FOOD PROCESSING SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
The invention relates to a food processing system (100) for preparing an edible mass of a food product starting from a raw food material, the system comprising: one or a plurality of food containers (20), each one comprising a raw food material in form of dehydrated material and/or paste and/or chunks; one or a plurality of dispensing and reconstituting chambers (10), each chamber being associated to at least one food container (20), each of the chambers (10) comprising a variable and/or exchangeable reconstitution and deposition device configured for hydrating and/or structuring and/or reconstituting in batches the raw food material provided by the one or more food containers (20) in order to create a homogeneous edible mass of food product, the device being further configured to deposit in-line with a controlled flow the edible mass of food product once prepared. The invention further relates to a method for operating a food processing system (100) as the one described in order to prepare an edible mass of food product starting from raw food material: the information on the kind of raw food material and on its processing is retrieved from identification means on the one or more food containers (20) and/or from a connected database, in order to process the raw food material in the one or more of the dispensing and reconstituting chambers (10) according to a certain recipe, acting on the hydration ratio and/or mixing speed and/or mixing time and/or temperature and/or viscosity and/or texture
