A device for frothing milk and liquid food is disclosed having a frothing rotor and a motor adapted to rotate the frothing rotor, a seat adapted to substantially entirely contain the frothing rotor an inlet for feeding the milk or liquid food into the seat, an air inlet and an outlet of the milk or liquid food from the seat.
System for preparing recipes with components coming from closed containers
A system for preparing recipes with components coming from closed containers (S1-S5) provides for using one or more robotic units (1), each of which withdraws a selected container, arranging a plurality of hoppers (7.1-7.5), in each of which the withdrawn selected container is inserted by the robotic unit (1), and in each of which the container is automatically opened for loading the component into the hopper (7), discharging a preset component dose from each hopper (7), and collecting the dosed components for preparing the required recipe; a driving and control unit (15) provides for driving and controlling all of these operations as a function of the required recipe. Thereby, an automatic system for preparing recipes is achieved, which is fast, with a low processing cost, and free from risks related to the processing.
PORTABLE TEST-DEVICE FOR SELECTIVE FLOCCULATION
This disclosure relates generally to selective flocculation, and more particularly to portable test-device for performing selective flocculation experiments in continuous mode. The test-device includes a slurry inflow system, a flocculant tank, a static mixer, a control pumping system, and a thickener system. The static mixer is connected to the slurry inflow system and the flocculant tank, to receive and mix flocculant solution and slurry and cause formation of floc. The control pumping system connects the flocculant tank and the slurry inflow system to the static mixer to control the control parameters responsible for pumping the slurry and flocculant solution in the continuous mode in the static mixer. The thickener system comprises a thickener tank to receive treated slurry and the floc from the static mixer, separately collect tailings and the floc from the thickening tank. The components of the portable test-device are removably connected to each other.
Device for producing hot coated products having a branched outlet and external mixer and method for producing corresponding hot coated products
A device for manufacturing hot-mix coated materials includes an oven (1) having an enclosure (2) provided towards its two opposite ends with a main inlet (3) designed to receive granular materials and with a main outlet; and a heater (10) defining a combustion section (5) inside the enclosure (2). The enclosure (2) starting with the combustion section (5) and continuing with a drying section (6), and then with a mixing section (7). The device is further provided with a bypass outlet (11) and with an external mixer (12) that is connected to the bypass outlet (11), which outlet is fitted with a blocking system (15) allowing granular materials to pass towards the inlet (13) of the external mixer (12) and a closed position allowing granular materials to pass towards the mixing section (7).
Method for emulsion treatment
A method for producing a single-phase phase-stable liquid is provided, in which, in an embodiment: in a first step, a lipophilic liquid is mixed with a hydrophilic liquid, so that a mixture of the liquids is obtained; in a second step, the static pressure of the mixture is brought below the vapor pressure of at least one of the liquids, so that cavitation bubbles occur, for example, as a result of what is known as hard cavitation; and in a third step, the cavitation bubbles are caused to implode, a single-phase phase-stable liquid being obtained.
System and method for preparing micro-ingredient feed additives to animal feed rations
A method and system are provided for preparing micro-ingredient feed additives for use in designated feed rations. A micro-ingredient system of the invention includes a plurality of bins that store designated micro-ingredients therein. A master controller of the delivery system provides signals to control system components based on programmed commands corresponding to micro-ingredient batches to be prepared. Slide gate mechanisms are used to prevent loss of micro-ingredients delivered to a receiving receptacle of the system. During delivery of the micro-ingredients to the receptacle and during processing, the micro-ingredients can become airborne and subsequently lost. The slide gate mechanisms also provide controlled access to the receiving receptacle to prevent system errors such as contamination of ingredients in the receptacle, or improper batching of a prescribed micro-ingredient mixture to be delivered to a designated feed ration.
Liquid color cart and method for liquid color dispensing
A portable scale for weighing containers, and includes a weighing tray that may be moved from a weighing position to a non-weighing position by a drive mechanism. When in the non-weighing position, the weighing tray is low to the ground, allowing for easy loading and unloading. When in the weighing position, force is transmitted to one or more load cells located between the weighing tray and a scale assembly, which allows for an accurate measurement of the container and/or its contents.
DEVICE FOR MIXING WATER AND DIESEL OIL, APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A WATER/DIESEL OIL MICRO-EMULSION
An apparatus for preparing a water/diesel oil micro-emulsion comprises a diesel oil feeding unit (2), an emulsifying composition feeding unit (3), a water feeding unit (4), a mixing tank (5) in fluid communication with the diesel oil feeding unit (2), with the emulsifying composition feeding unit (3) and with the water feeding unit (4). A mixing device (22) is operatively connected to the mixing tank (5).
