Utilizing Wet Fracturing Sand For Hydraulic Fracturing Operations

A system and a method that utilizes wet proppants when creating fracturing fluid by receiving wet fracturing sand at a surge tank, vibrating the wet fracturing sand located within the surge tank, liquefying the wet fracturing sand within the surge tank based on the vibration, and metering the liquefied wet fracturing sand from the surge tank to a blending tub.

Spatiotemporal control of chemical microenvironment using oscillating microstructures

Apparatuses and methods for generating a chemical gradient within a flow channel include providing at least one bubble support structure within the flow channel. A bubble support structure helps maintain a bubble at a predetermined location in flow channel when a fluid flow passes therethrough. Oscillations are induced in the bubble using acoustic waves, which may be provided by a piezoelectric transducer located proximate the flow channel. Two or more inlets provide fluids of different chemical compositions into the flow channel, and bubble oscillations are used to generate a dynamically controllable mixing process.

An apparatus configured to generate generating water having nano bubbles of molecular hydrogen on demand. The apparatus is connected to a water supply with a valve and has a pump which supplies pressurized water to a venturi gas liquid mixer that also receives a supply of Hydrogen gas. The mixed hydrogen gas/water steam is provided to a nano bubble generating apparatus that uses cavitation to generate nano bubbles of Hydrogen in the water. The Hydrogen nano bubbles have diameters of less than 200 nm and a concentration of up to 1.2 ppm. Further the concentration remains with 85% of the output concentration for at least 12 hours.

Sonic reactor

A sonic reactor for transferring kinetic energy to a process fluid medium has a resonant element horizontally oriented and mounted to the two resonance units using two or more nodal support rings located at the nodal positions of the resonant element. The nodal support rings are adjustable in position relative to the resonant element and the resonance units to permit positioning of the rings directly at the nodal positions during operation. The sonic reactor has a grinding or mixing chamber mounted at one or both of the free ends of the resonant element. The sonic reactor is used for applications that include fly ash beneficiation, pulverization and dispersion; fine ore grinding; preparing ready mix cement formulations; oil sands cuttings for oil recovery; spilled oil, water and oily water storage treatment; organic and inorganic industrial wastewater treatment; environmental remediation of contaminated soils; sodium dispersion and destruction of PCBs; biosludge conditioning; cellulosic biofuels processing; lignin processing; dispersion and deagglomeration of pigments; and dye destruction.

A bubble generation device includes: a metallic narrow tube (10) through which water passes; and a pump that pressure-feeds the water containing a gas component into the metallic narrow tube (10). A drawer (11) in which a path through which the water passes is narrower than the front and the rear thereof in the flow direction of the water is disposed on the inside of the metallic narrow tube (10). The drawer (11) has the rectangular cross section orthogonal to the flow direction. The gas component contained in the water is dissolved in the water by pressure-feeding the water to the drawer (11), bubbles are evolved due to a decrease in pressure in the drawer (11), turbulent flow is generated in the water in the drawer (11) to crush bubbles in the water by the shearing force thereof, and bubbles are crushed by a shock wave caused by transonic flow occurring in the water that has exited from the drawer (11).
