EXTENDED-RANGE FULL-ELECTRIC LOW-SPEED TRACTOR
Disclosed is an extended-range full-electric low-speed tractor, which includes a system control unit, a battery pack, a frequency conversion driver, a bidirectional DC-DC converter, a generating set and a drive system. The generating set is capable of working in an intermittent mode. The generating set will be started when the power of the battery pack is lower than a preset working range; once the generating set begins to work, the generating set will be running under a condition of “the most economic fuel consumption” and provide stable output at constant speed and constant power, so as to make sure that the generating set is not overloaded, emits no black smoke and has highest energy efficiency. It has advantages of low energy consumption, low pollution and long life of the generating set.
Method for operating a motor vehicle and motor vehicle
A method for operating a motor vehicle, which is driven by an electric motor. The motor vehicle has a high-voltage power system, to which the electric motor is connected, with a high-voltage battery that is operated in an operating temperature range, for which purpose, a temperature control mechanism utilizing a circulating coolant, and having a heating mechanism for the coolant and a cooling mechanism for the coolant is assigned to the high-voltage battery, to satisfy a power deficiency which indicates that a braking power required by recuperation of the electric motor exceeds the on-demand power currently in the high-voltage power system that can be demanded for charging the high-voltage battery.
Vehicle drive apparatus
A vehicle drive apparatus includes: an engine; a rotary machine; an output member coupled to a drive wheel of a vehicle; a differential mechanism configured to couple the engine, the rotary machine, and the output member together to be differentially rotatable via a plurality of differentially rotatable rotational elements; and an elastic member configured to couple a rotation shaft of the rotary machine to the rotational element of the differential mechanism to be relatively rotatable.
Work vehicle and method of controlling work vehicle
A control unit embedded in a work vehicle includes a clutch controlling unit and a motor controlling unit. The clutch controlling unit is configured to disengage a first clutch in a condition that the first clutch is engaged and a second clutch is disengaged, when a first moving direction inputted through a forward/rearward movement switch operating device as an instruction of the operator and a second moving direction determined based on a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed detecting unit are different from each other, and in addition, when and the vehicle speed falls in a preliminarily set first range. The motor controlling unit is configured to control a motor to reduce a relative rotational speed of the second clutch after the first clutch is disengaged.
VEHICLE DRIVE SYSTEM
A vehicle drive system includes a left-wheel drive unit having a first motor and a first transmission, a right-wheel drive unit having a second motor and a second transmission, and a motor control unit. Each of the first and second transmissions has a first to third rotational elements. The first motor is connected to the first rotational element of the first transmission. The second motor is connected to the first rotational element of the second transmission. The left wheel is connected to the second rotational element of the first transmission. The right wheel is connected to the second rotational element of the second transmission. The third rotational element of the first transmission and the third rotational element of the second transmission are coupled to each other. Each of the first and second transmissions has a fourth rotational element which is supported to revolve around by the second rotational element.
HYBRID REEFER SYSTEMS
Hybrid power systems include an internal combustion engine and a motor/generator connectable with the engine. A reefer unit is configured to receive power from the motor/generator via a reefer power system that includes an export power inverter and an energy storage device.
Aid for inductive battery charging of a motor vehicle
A method for assisting with the positioning of a motor vehicle for inductive charging of a battery of the motor vehicle comprises reading a number plate associated with the motor vehicle using the number plate information to produce a location on the vehicle of a vehicle inductive coupling point (VICP) with reference to at least one reference point on the motor vehicle, comparing a predicted current position of the VICP to a fixed inductive coupling point (ICP) located in or on a road surface upon which the motor vehicle is to be positioned, and providing feedback to one of the driver and the motor vehicle indicative of the required action required to produce alignment of the VICP with the ICP. The method may further comprise energizing the ICP to charge the battery of the motor vehicle when the VICP is predicted to be aligned with the ICP.
External power supply connector, vehicle, and external power supply system
An external power supply connector attached to a vehicle-side connecting portion and control unit controlling the supply power to the vehicle-side connecting portion, supplying power from the vehicle to outside. The external power supply connector includes a body including an external connecting portion to an electric plug supplying power to a connected external device; a restricting member enables switching between restricting state wherein the electric plug is restricted from being attached and detached to and from the external connecting portion, and allowing state enabling the electric plug to attach and detach to and from the external connecting portion. A signal outputting portion outputs a signal to the control unit and detecting portion. The detecting portion detects the restricting state and allowing state of the restricting member. In allowing state, the signal outputting portion outputs a prohibiting signal from being supplied to the external power supply connector to the control unit.
Vehicle
A vehicle is configured to carry out external charging operation in which an in-vehicle battery is charged with electric power from a device outside the vehicle. The vehicle includes the in-vehicle battery, a charger and a control device. The charger is configured to output electric power from the device outside the vehicle to the in-vehicle battery. The control device is configured to control the charger so that the external charging operation is completed by time set by a user. Furthermore, the control device is configured to preferentially allocate a period of time during which the external charging operation is carried out in order of a priority time period set by the user, an immediate time period immediately after the priority time period and a preceding time period immediately before the priority time period.
