Cartridge and a base unit for use in an oral care appliance
A cartridge and a base unit for use in an oral care appliance are disclosed. The cartridge includes a connection interface configured to form a detachable connection. The base unit is also configured to engage operatively with the cartridge to facilitate flow of an oral care composition from the cartridge into the oral care appliance.
Device and method for closing filled containers with a screw cap
A device for closing a filled container with a screw cap, for example, for closing support ring-less bottles with a screw cap, is described. The device includes a neck guide with at least one torsion protection element for accommodation of a neck section of the filled container in a torsion-protected manner during the closing with the screw cap, and a discharge element for discharging the closed container from the neck guide. The neck guide and the discharge element are displaceable relative to each other.
Beverage drinking apparatus
The beverage drinking apparatus may include a spout, a pivot arm, and an entry portion. The spout may include a bore. The pivot arm may include a curved portion that defines a fulcrum for rotating the beverage drinking apparatus. The entry portion may include a flow portion defining a plurality of apertures. The entry portion may include a piercing portion that is distal from the first end of the spout. The piercing portion and the flow portion may be configured to pierce and penetrate a hole in a sidewall of the beverage can as the beverage drinking apparatus is pivoted about the fulcrum with the curved portion engaged with a bottom surface of the beverage can such that liquid flows from the beverage can into the bore through the plurality of first apertures.
Facility for preparing a beverage for tasting and method for opening a beverage container using such a facility
An installation (1) comprising a storage zone (5) for storing the container (40) of the beverage for preparation; a liquid flow circuit (2) provided with at least one feed inlet (3) for feeding a beverage for preparation extending in said storage zone (5) and being provided with a perforation member (7); cooling and/or heating means (8) arranged along the liquid flow circuit (2); a sensor (13) for measuring the circuit temperature of the liquid flow circuit (2); and means (14) for providing a setpoint temperature corresponding to the tasting temperature desired for the beverage. The installation (1) further comprises a sensor (6) for measuring the temperature of the container (40); a control unit (17) configured to control the cooling and/or heating means (8) as a function of the setpoint temperature, and of the measured temperatures; a closure member (18) for at least partially closing access from the storage zone (5) to the perforation member (7), the closure member (18) being mounted to move between a closed position at least as a function of the measured temperature of the circuit.
Multiple channel single spike for a liquid dispensing system
A spike for dispensing fluids from a flexible bag, wherein the spike includes multiple fluid channels which transfer liquids from the bag to an enclosed dispensing chamber and air from the enclosed chamber to the bag to permit and control fluid flow within the system.
Food product dispenser and valve
A system for dispensing a flowable food product from a reservoir is provided. The system includes a fitment coupled to the reservoir and a piercing tool having a handle, a neck, and a piercing section, wherein the neck interconnects the handle with the piercing section. The piercing section is configured to create an opening in the reservoir through the fitment to enable dispensing of the flowable product.
Spout for draining liquid from a container
A spout for draining liquid from a container preferably includes a puncture member and a handle member. The puncture member includes a retainer base, an air puncture tube and a liquid puncture tube. An end of the air and liquid puncture tubes are cut at an angle to create cutting tips. The handle member includes a clip base, a top support extension, a bottom support extension, a top clip and a bottom clip. Through openings are formed through the top and bottom support extensions, and the clip base to receive the air and liquid puncture tubes. In use, the top clip is inserted into a top rim of a beverage can and the bottom clip is snapped into a bottom cavity of the beverage can. The clip base is squeezed toward the retainer base with one hand to create two puncture openings in the beverage can.
Beverage container piercing device
A drinking apparatus includes a body portion comprising a receptacle having and inner cavity a dimensioned to receive and retain a beverage container inserted in an upright orientation within the inner cavity, the body portion having a lower area providing access to the inner cavity; a piercing mechanism located near the lower area and insertable through the access to the inner cavity; a ratcheting mechanism located adjacent to the first portion and connected to the piercing mechanism under tension, the ratcheting mechanism drawing the piercing mechanism through the access and into the inner cavity, thus piercing the beverage container; and a spout located proximate to the piercing mechanism and configured to pour a beverage from the pierced beverage container.
