DIGITAL PRINTED DUCT TAPE
An adhesive tape is provided comprising a duct tape having an adhesive surface and a non-adhesive surface, a white ink printed on the non-adhesive surface of the duct tape, and a colored ink printed on top of the printed white ink. The white ink and the colored ink are digitally printed and UV curable. A self-wound roll of adhesive duct tape having digitally printed ink on the non-adhesive surface of the duct tape is also provided.
Double-Sided Tape
A double-sided tape having a supporting member; camouflage marking printed on at least one side of the supporting member; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on either side of the supporting member.
Display device
Disclosed is display device including a display panel; a window disposed on the display panel; and an adhesive layer positioned between the display panel and the window, wherein the adhesive layer includes a polymer resin and a woven fiber.
STRUCTURAL HYBRID ADHESIVES
Adhesive compositions are provided comprising: a) a base resin comprising an epoxy resin; b) a first epoxy curative; and c) a second epoxy curative; wherein the first and second epoxy curatives are chosen such that the second epoxy curative may remain substantially unreacted in the composition under conditions of temperature and duration that render the first epoxy curative substantially reacted with epoxy resin in the composition. In some embodiments, the first epoxy curative is substantially reacted with epoxy resin in the composition and the second epoxy curative is substantially unreacted in the composition. In some embodiments, the adhesive composition is used in the form of an adhesive film.
Method for coagulating polymer dispersions using expandable microspheres
Method for coagulating an aqueous polymer dispersion, where the aqueous polymer dispersion comprises at least one polymer in dispersion in aqueous phase, and also comprises thermally expandable, thermoplastic microspheres, the polymer dispersion is coagulated by energy input, and the coagulated composition is delivered via an outlet aperture, preferably in the form of a nozzle.
Composite sound absorber
A sound absorbing material comprising a nonwoven fibrous acoustic insulation material and a flow resistive nonwoven facing, wherein the flow resistive nonwoven facing is bonded to the insulation material and has an air flow resistance of from about 600 to about 1800 Rayls and a surface mass of from about 20 to about 150 g/m.sup.2.
Transversely tearable fabric-adhesive tape with high abrasion resistance
The present disclosure relates to a woven-fabric adhesive tape, more particularly a cable-wrapping tape, comprising a tape-shaped woven-fabric backing having at least one adhesive coating applied to at least one side of the backing. The woven-fabric backing is formed from warp threads and weft threads and the linear density of the weft threads in dtex is greater than the linear density of the warp threads in dtex. The width-based linear density of the warp threads in dtex/cm is less than the length-based linear density of the weft threads in dtex/cm. The width-based linear density of the warp threads is about 2000 to 4000 dtex/cm and the length-based linear density of the weft threads is about 8000 to 20 000 dtex/cm, preferably 8000 to 16 000 dtex/cm. The disclosure further provides a tape-shaped woven-fabric backing for use in a woven-fabric adhesive tape.
Method for jacketing elongate material, especially leads or cable looms
Method for jacketing elongate material such as more particularly leads or cable looms, where an adhesive tape comprising a carrier, more particularly textile carrier with a curative composition applied to its top side and a reactive composition to its bottom side, is passed in a helical line around the elongate material, or the elongate material is wrapped in the axial direction by the adhesive tape in such a way that the curative composition and the reactive composition come into contact, the elongate material together with the adhesive tape wrapping is brought into the desired disposition, more particularly into the cable loom layout, the elongate material is held in this disposition, the curative composition reacts with the reactive composition, to produce a curing layer of composition.
Adhesive tape made of silicone intended for medical applications
An adhesive tape (1) made of silicone is intended for medical applications. The tape (1) has a sheet material (12) based on nonwoven fibers, coated on an internal face (12a) intended to be in contact with the skin, with a barrier membrane (14) which adheres to the sheet material, based on crosslinked silicone polymer, and with a layer (16) of atraumatic and biocompatible silicone adhesive gel, and on an external face (12b), with a layer (18) of a nonstick and waterproof polymer based on a fluorosilicone or fluorocarbon polymer.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING CUTANEOUS INFORMATION DEVICES
A frangible single-use cutaneous information device is printed on a support sheet captured by an adhesive layer and adhered to the skin by said adhesive layer. A skin safe contrasting printed dye is deposited onto a release paper layer allowing the dye construct to be released from the paper and applied to the skin. A clear coat layer can also be applied before or after the dyes are deposited on the paper to protect the outer layer. A single apparatus to be applied at point of service using variable data make such a device includes a means for receiving a perforated sheet, an electrostatic image forming and transferring device, a member for fusing the image to the perforated sheet, an adhesive applicator positioned to apply adhesive to the image, and a transport and joining structure that transports the perforated protective sheet and joins it to the perforated sheet at a position overlying said adhesive.
