WEARABLE INTELLIGENT COMMUNICATION HUB
A communication hub that manages communication signals and sensor signals is provided. Communication signal gateways receive and transmit the communication signals with a plurality of different communication signal formats. Sensor signal gateways in turn receive the sensor signals with a plurality of different sensor signal formats. The controller dynamically interfaces the different communication signal formats of the received communication signals with a communication hub signal format to establish communication links with the communication systems associated with the received communication signals. The controller further dynamically interfaces the different sensor signal formats of the received sensor signals into the communication hub signal format used by the communication hub to gather sensor information. The controller further establishes at least one routing path to a destination hub using at least one of the established communication links. The controller further yet communicates the sensor information through the at least one established routing path.
EMERGENCY OR OTHER SERVICE RAPID LOCATION HUB, REQUEST METHOD AND/OR DATA SHARING INTERFACE
A software or interface or method is disclosed for allowing requests for emergency or other services to be made by a user. The software or method may be related to a mobile (e.g., cell phone) application and can improve identification of a user or associated information to request services (e.g., emergency services and/or other convenience services) at a particular location.
MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
A mobile communication device comprises: a first communicator configured to perform short range wireless communication with a first communication device not via another device; a second communicator configured to perform wireless communication with the first communication device via another device; an acceleration sensor configured to detect an acceleration; and at least one controller configured to, when it is determined that a travelling means of a user of the mobile communication device is changed from walking to a vehicle based on the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor, cause the second communicator to notify the first communication device of an alarm when a notification condition is established, and cause the second communicator not to notify the first communication device of the alarm when the notification condition is not established, wherein the notification condition includes a condition that communication between the first communicator and the first communication device is disconnected.
Location continuity service for locating mobile devices using multiple access networks including wireless telecommunication networks
A location continuity application server described herein is configured to access from an access network a set of location data associated with a position measurement for a mobile device. The location continuity application server may also access from another access network another set of location data associated with another position measurement for the mobile device and combine the sets of location data to determine a location of the mobile device. Further, prior to accessing the set of location data, the location continuity application server may provide reference location data associated with a reference location of the mobile device to the access network to enable the access network to obtain the position measurement based at least on the reference location data. The location continuity application server may also access the set of location data and determine the location of the mobile device responsive to a request from an emergency service provider.
Adaptive system with call center and trusted network
According to one aspect, a computer system comprises a processor, memory, and an interface to an electronic communication network. The memory holds instructions that when executed by the processor cause the computer system to maintain in electronic storage personal profiles of a number of clients of a service. At least one of the personal profiles includes identification of one or more entities authorized by the respective client to receive information about the client. The instructions further cause the system to produce a log associated with the client including information about the client. The information included in the log is filtered so that not all available information about the client is included in the log. The log is further made accessible via the electronic communication network to at least some of the one or more entities authorized by the client to receive information about the client.
Power management for emergency communications device
Systems and methods of conserving power in a mobile emergency communication device. After placing a telephone call, the calling device communicates information to the call recipient, for example a response center, usable to estimate the remaining talk time of the calling device. The call recipient sends instructions to the calling device to turn off, disable, or suspend certain device capabilities to conserve battery power in the calling device. For example, if it is determined that the device is not moving, a geographical location capability of the device may be turned off to conserve power. Other capabilities may also be turned off, for example a secondary radio transceiver, a display screen or other visual indicator, certain software applications executing on the device, or other capabilities.
Interactive emergency visualization methods
Methods for emergency visualization are disclosed. The methods include a computer-implemented method for interactive emergency visualization that includes receiving a notification concerning an incident associated with a multi-floor structure, requesting location information from a user device geographically associated with the multi-floor structure, and receiving, in response to the request, a beacon identifier from the user device, the beacon identifier being associated with a beacon disposed within the multi-floor structure. The method also includes determining on which floor of the multi-floor structure the user device is located based on the beacon identifier and stored information indicating the location of the beacon and displaying a graphical map of the multi-floor structure and information indicating the specific floor on which the user device is located.
COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SHARING INFORMATION BETWEEN PASSENGERS AND AIR TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT STAKEHOLDERS
A computer-implemented method and a system for providing passenger information performing the tasks of sending, from a passenger electronic device (110), personal data, device geolocation and device time-stamp information; obtaining the passenger itinerary and confirming passenger identity, by a managing unit (206), based upon a match between the personal data, passenger electronic device geolocation and time-stamp; information contained in the obtained passenger itinerary; accessing to updated air traffic information relevant to the passenger upon confirming the passenger identity and sending, by the managing unit (206), a passenger report comprising flight status information for display on the passenger electronic device (110).
VOICE SERVICE HANDOVER METHOD AND DEVICE
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a voice service handover method and a device, and relate to the communications field, so as to resolve a problem that reliability of a voice service of UE is reduced due to an exception that occurs on a network side of an LTE network. A specific solution is as follows: An MME determines that an exception occurs on a network side of an LTE network, where a voice bearer of target UE is established on the network side of the LTE network; and the MME sends, to an eNodeB, an SRVCC handover request message that carries an identifier of the target UE, so that the eNodeB hands over a voice service of the target UE from the LTE network to a CS network. The present invention is applied in a voice service handover process.
METHOD OF TRANSMITTING INFORMATION REGARDING AN EMERGENCY BETWEEN A MOBILE TERMINAL AND AN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SITE
Methods and devices for transmitting information regarding an emergency between a mobile terminal and an emergency control center. The method includes communicating first information regarding the emergency via a control channel of a mobile radio system between the mobile terminal and the emergency control center and communicating second information regarding the emergency via a speech channel of the mobile radio system between the mobile terminal and the emergency control center. The control channel may be a logical channel. The speech channel may also be a logical channel. Via the control channel, an SMS which may include the first information regarding the emergency, such as the emergency site and the time of the emergency, may be transmitted from the mobile terminal to the emergency control center.
