Method and apparatus for improving mixing of cement slurry
A method and apparatus are disclosed for a mixing system with a recirculation pump and a sensor configured to measure a property of a fluid discharged from the recirculation pump, wherein the sensor may transmit the property to a control system to allow an operator to adjust the mixing system in response to changes in the measurement signal.
Systems and methods for fluid ratio control
A multi-component fluid delivery system includes a first fluid pump and a second fluid pump. The first and the second fluid pumps are not mechanically coupled to each other. The multi-component fluid delivery system further includes a control system comprising a processor configured to derive a slip ratio for the first fluid pump and the second fluid pump. The processor is additionally configured to apply a master-slave motor control to deliver a specified fluid ratio via the first and the second fluid pumps based on the slip ratio.
Automated flowable material dispensers and related methods for dispensing flowable material
An automated flowable material dispenser for dispensing flowable material from a flowable material container is provided. In one embodiment, the dispenser may include a dispenser housing configured to receive the flowable material container therein, a solenoid valve assembly positioned within the dispenser housing, and a biasing member configured to bias the flowable material container toward the solenoid valve assembly and to move the flowable material container from an unactuated configuration to an actuated configuration. The dispenser housing may define a dispensing opening along a bottom end of the dispenser housing and may be configured to move between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The solenoid valve assembly may be positioned above the dispensing opening and configured to control dispensing of the flowable material from the dispenser.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR FORMULATING AND DISPENSING PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATIONS
The present disclosure relates to use of specialized vessels for formulating and dispensing pharmaceutical formulations. The vessels are optionally able to maintain homeostatic conditions and a homogeneous constitution of pharmaceutical suspensions, while simultaneously dispensing them into single-use containers.
Perfect pour drink mixer
The invention provides a multi-compartment container for storing and dispensing separately a plurality of consumable liquids that can be mixed in an accurate and repeatable manner. Each storage compartment within the container encloses a predetermined quantity of a consumable liquid, wherein the first compartment is filled with a first liquid and the other compartments are filled with second and third liquids. The individual storage compartments are structurally merged to form elongated dispensing compartments each with a first end and a second end, wherein a one-way outlet positioned at the first end and a one-way outlet located at the second end permits passage of liquid from the storage compartments into the corresponding dispensing compartments. Upon fully inverting the container, the designated outlet of each dispensing compartment is opened, wherein precise amounts of liquids in the first, second, and third compartments are dispensed at constant volume ratio using gravity.
CONCENTRATE AND DILUTION CARTRIDGE AND SYSTEMS
Cartridges and systems for delivering solutions to textiles. In various aspects, the cartridge may include (i) a concentrate chamber that stores a concentrate solution and comprising an outlet, (ii) a dilution chamber comprising an inlet for receiving the concentrate solution from the concentrate chamber, and outlet for dispensing a diluted solution, and (iii) a mechanical portion comprising one or more pumps for delivering the concentrate solution to the dilution chamber and for dispensing the diluted solution. Delivery systems using the cartridge are described.
Carbonation tank assembly
The invention provides a carbonation tank assembly for admixing a gas and a potable liquid used in preparation of drinks. The assembly includes a tank body with an interior that can be easily accessed for cleaning and repair purposes by removing upper and lower end plates securely and sealing fitted by gaskets to the upper and lower ends of the tank. The interior is connected to a liquid source for supplying liquid, a gas source for carbonating the liquid, and drawing means for dispensing carbonated liquid from the interior of the tank.
Fluid mixing device
A fluid mixing device includes a fluid mixing unit, a concentration measurement unit, a mixing ratio control unit controlling a mixing ratio of different fluid components in the fluid mixing unit based on a concentration of a mixed fluid measured by the concentration measurement unit, a flow rate measurement unit, and a flow rate control unit controlling a flow rate of the mixed fluid based on the flow rate of the mixed fluid measured by the flow rate measurement unit. The concentration measurement unit, the flow rate measurement unit, and the flow rate control unit are arranged on the downstream side of the fluid mixing unit. A flow passage of the concentration measurement unit, a flow passage of the flow rate measurement unit, and the elastic tube of the flow rate control unit are arranged to extend along a flow passage axis on a line with each other.
TWO PART COMPOUNDED MATERIAL MIXER
A method, apparatus, and system for mixing a compounded material. A first selected amount of a base part for the compounded material and a second selected amount of an activator part for the compounded material to form a total amount of the compounded material is determined. The first selected amount of the base part is pumped by a pump system from a set of base part sources connected to the pump system into a container. The second selected amount of the activator part is pumped by the pump system from a set of activator part sources connected to the pump system into a container. The base part and the activator part in the container are mixed by a mixing system for a predetermined amount of time that is sufficient to activate the compounded material for use.
COLOR CONVERSION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method is provided for preparing a hair dye color mixture. The method includes: accessing a control system having at least a processor, a memory, and user input controls, the memory configured to store ingredients of a hair dye color mixture, each ingredient of the hair dye color mixture being from an initial product brand; receiving user input from the user input controls to change one or more ingredients of the hair dye color mixture from the initial product brand to one or more subsequent product brands; matching the color of the hair dye color mixture made from one or more ingredients of the initial product brand using one or more ingredients of the one or more subsequent product brands, in response to the user input; and displaying the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the one or more subsequent product brands on a display.
