System and method for providing automatic setup of a remote patient care environment

A system and method for providing automatic setup of a remote patient care environment. Connectivity to a centralized server over a network connection is confirmed. Data reporting for a patient by one or more monitoring devices that are wirelessly connectable is induced through control provided through a user interface. Each of the devices is registered as the device attempts to establish a wireless connection and report the data conditioned on permission for access. Upon granting of the permission for access, the device is wirelessly connected and the data is subsequently received over the wireless connection.

Providing user-defined messages
09773230 · 2017-09-26 · ·

Systems, methods, apparatus, and computer program products provide user-defined messages. In one embodiment, user-defined messaging configurations can be defined. Then, a record queue can be monitored for the entry of new records. New records can be evaluated to determine whether they are associated with user-defined messaging configurations. For the records so associated, reports defined in the user-defined messaging configurations can be requested and used to create user-defined messages.

Facilitating and tracking clinician-assignment status

Subject matter described herein is related to assigning a healthcare clinician to provide care to a patient. For example, a GUI is provided that includes contextual information relevant to the assignment and that allows a user to electronically create the assignment. Relevant information includes a list of clinicians, a list of patients, and an estimate of the amount of resources required to provide care to a patient. In addition, this disclosure describes tracking the status of a healthcare clinician, such as primary provider, secondary provider, and on-break. Status might be tracked by capturing an image of a display board, which supports clinician barcodes that are movable to desired locations within a depiction of a healthcare facility (e.g., floor plan laid out using barcodes).

Device to measure and monitor drinking and eating having a cup holder with a digital camera

In described embodiments, the present invention is a cup assembly including a cup holder having a base having a microcontroller, weight sensor and accelerometer incorporated therein, a handle extending upwardly from the base, and a camera support extending upwardly from the base. The camera support supports a digital camera. The digital camera is electronically coupled to the microcontroller. A cup is removably insertable into the cup holder. A method of using the cup assembly is also disclosed.

System and method for health care data integration and management

In an exemplary embodiment, a method creates an electronic health record and analyzes that record to present a summary report. The report may optionally include treatment opportunities, strategies, and plans for the physician and patient. Data processing steps used to create and analyze the record and deliver the summary data may include aggregation, integration, internal validation, clinical validation, inspection, prediction, and communication.

Clinical Data Reconciliation as Part of a Report Generation Solution

An automated system updates electronic medical records (EMRs) based on dictated reports, without requiring manual data entry into on-screen forms. A dictated report is transcribed by an automatic speech recognizer, and facts are extracted from the report and stored in encoded form. Information from a patient's report is also stored in encoded form. The resulting encoded information from the report and EMR are reconciled with each other, and changes to be made to the EMR are identified based on the reconciliation. The identified changes are made to the EMR automatially, without requiring manual data entry into the EMR.

Automated Systems and Methods for Obtaining, Storing, Processing and Utilizing Immunologic Information of an Individual or Population for Various Uses

A system and method for assessing the immunological status of one or more individuals in a patient population is presented. The method includes establishing a database comprising a plurality of records of information each representative of the immune status of an individual in the population, each of said records including (1) current information from one or more assays for the presence of a biochemical, and (2) individual specific information comprising one or more of said individual's medical history, said individual's doctors' observations and historical, demographic, lifestyle, and familial information relating to said individual. The method further includes processing the information in said database to find trends or patterns relating to the immune status of individuals in said patient population; and using the said trends or patterns as part of a health care related decision making process.

Medical software download to mobile phone

A method for monitoring medical data is disclosed, the method being applicable to a system comprising a portable medical device, a mobile communications device, and, optionally, a medical care server. The portable medical device and the mobile communications device each comprise at least one interface for data transfer. The method comprises a step of establishing a download link between the mobile communications device and a download server. The method comprises a step of selecting an appropriate communication software package from a plurality of communication software packages for controlling data transfer between the mobile communications device and the portable medical device from the download server. Further, the method comprises a download step for downloading communication software packages from the download server to the mobile communications device and a step of installation of the communication software package on the mobile communications device.

System and method for adding and tracking product information to a patient record

The present system and the method relate to adding product information to patient record. A product database stores the product information corresponding to a product, while a patient database stores the patient record corresponding to a patient. A product detector detects a product identifier corresponding to the product information and generates a product identifier message. The patient detector detects a patient identifier corresponding to the patient record and generates a patient identifier message. An adding module adds the product information to the patient record based on the patient identifier message and the product identifier message.
