SPRING FORCE ADJUSTMENT FOR A CONSOLE
A biasing assembly for rotating a lid of a console includes a biasing mechanism operably coupled to the lid at a first end and an adjustable control plate operatively coupled to a second end of the biasing mechanism. Movement of the adjustable control plate with respect to the second end of the biasing mechanism adjusts a biasing force applied to the lid by the biasing mechanism.
SEAT WITH ARMREST, AND ARMREST UNLOCKING DEVICE FOR USE THEREWITH
In the case of a seat with an armrest on an automobile, an armrest lock mechanism may be released by, for example, the gravitational acceleration(G) in the event of vehicle collision. Accordingly, it is necessary to provide an anti-G spring for biasing to prevent the lock mechanism from being easily released. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an armrest unlocking device that enables a decrease in size of the anti-G spring. In order to solve the problem, provided is an armrest unlocking device in gear, the device operating such that the locking of the lock gear and the sector gear can be released by operating a lever link bracket so as to raise the lock gear, wherein the lock gear has a center of rotation thereof aligned with the position of the center of gravity.
ARMREST
The armrest comprises an arm support that is vertically adjustable by an adjuster that is held on the vehicle frame. The adjustment takes place here independently of a storage compartment. In this way, the vertical position of the armrest can be adapted to the size of the occupants of the seat. The adjuster can be operated with a manual drive or electrically as an alternative, for example. The adjuster has a guide fixed to the vehicle frame and a slide that carries the arm support and that is vertically shiftable on the guide.
ARMREST FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An armrest (1) for a motor vehicle has a vehicle-side support (3). An armrest element (5) is arranged on an upper side of the support (3) and is designed to be adjustable relative to the support (3) The armrest (1) has a further functional element arranged on the upper side of the support (3) at a distance from the armrest element (5) and is designed to be adjustable relative to the support (3).
TOUCH CONTROL ARMREST SLEEVE AND TOUCH CONTROL SEAT
A touch control armrest sleeve includes an body and a connecting portion. The body includes a flexible pad, a flexible touch panel and a protective cover. The connecting portion is connected to a first end and a second end of the body. The flexible touch panel includes a flexible substrate and a carbon nanotube touch function layer. The carbon nanotube touch function layer includes a carbon nanotube film, a plurality of first electrodes, and a plurality of second electrodes. The carbon nanotube film is located on the flexible substrate. The plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes are electrically connected to the carbon nanotube film. A touch control seat incorporating such touch control armrest sleeve is also provided.
VEHICLE INPUT DEVICE
A vehicle input device including: a cover configured to include a touch sensor portion that is flexible and that detects operation by an occupant, the cover covering a main body portion of an arm rest that supports an arm of the occupant; and a control unit that outputs an operation signal to an on-board instrument on the basis of a signal detected by the touch sensor portion.
VEHICLE SEAT
A pair of brackets (25, 30) are provided on either side of a seat back frame (10), each bracket defining a support hole (27, 31) for rotatably supporting a support shaft (41) of an arm rest, and a guide slot (28, 32) for guiding a corresponding guide pin (42B, 42C) of the arm rest along an arcuate path centered around the corresponding support hole. The two guide slots are offset from each other, and the guide pins are offset from each other in a corresponding manner in side view so that the two brackets may be offset from each other. Thereby, the layout of the brackets for rotatably supporting the arm rest can be selected in an advantageous manner.
CONSOLE APPARATUS FOR AUTOMOBILE
A console apparatus for an automobile includes: a console main body (11), disposed between a left seat and a right seat of the automobile; arm rests (15a, 15b), supported at the console main body (11) in a manner of being capable of sliding in the front-rear direction of the automobile; a locking unit, locking the forward slide of the arm rests (15a, 15b) when the arm rests (15a, 15b) are located at a moving rear end position (P2); an unlocking unit, unlocking the arm rests (15a, 15b) locked by the locking unit at the moving rear end position (P2) according to an unlocking operation; and a force applying unit, applying a forward force to the arm rests (15a, 15b) when the arm rests (15a, 15b) are located at the moving rear end position (P2).
REMOTE OPERATOR STATION FOR A MACHINE
A remote operator station may include a seat. A first and a second input device may be disposed on the seat. An interface device may be discretely arranged with respect to the remote operator station and may include an interface processor in communication with a machine. The interface processor may be configured to remotely control non-movement features and function of the machine. An electronic control module may be in communication with, at least, the first and second input devices. The electronic control module may be configured to: receive input signals from one of the first and second input devices; process the input signals; and communicate wirelessly processed input signals to a machine for remote operation thereof.
Adjustable-height cup holder assemblies with shallow cup receptacles for motor vehicles
Disclosed are adjustable-height vehicle cup holder assemblies, methods for making and methods for using such assemblies, and motor vehicles with adjustable-height cup holder assemblies. A cup holder assembly is disclosed for receiving and supporting a container, such as a beverage cup or bottle, in a motor vehicle. The cup holder assembly includes a receptacle tray that attaches to the motor vehicle's internal vehicle structure, such as a pivotable armrest. One or more cup receptacles are recessed from the top surface of the receptacle tray. Each cup receptacle nests therein a container. One or more retractable retainer tabs are rotatably coupled to the receptacle tray, adjacent each cup receptacle. Each retainer tab pivots between a retracted position, whereat the retainer tab lays against the receptacle tray's top surface, and an extended position, whereat the retainer tab projects from the top surface such that the retainer tab sits against the container.
