A specific object is quickly detected to improve safety of flight. A control unit of an unmanned aerial vehicle control system obtains an image in which surroundings of an unmanned aerial vehicle are captured, the unmanned aerial vehicle being movable in any direction. A control unit for obtaining movement direction information about a movement direction of the unmanned aerial vehicle. A control unit for specifying a part to be processed in the image based on the movement direction information. A control unit for performing detection processing on the part to be processed to detect a specific object. A flight control unit for controlling flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle based on a result of the detection processing.

Method and system for detecting and classifying manoeuvres executed by an aircraft on the basis of measures acquired during a flight of the aircraft

Method implemented through a computer for detecting the execution, by an aircraft, of a manoeuvre belonging to a macrocategory among a plurality of macrocategories, including: receiving a data structure with a plurality of time series of values of quantities relating to a flight of the aircraft; for each time duration among a plurality of predetermined time durations, selecting a corresponding subset of the data structure and extracting a corresponding feature vector; on the basis of the feature vectors, generating a corresponding input macrovector and applying to the input macrovector an output classifier to generate estimates indicative of the probability that the aircraft was performing manoeuvres belonging to the macrocategories.

Method and system to uniquely represent certified and uncertified applications data for an aircraft

Methods and systems are provided for displaying uncertified data for aircraft operations. The method comprises receiving certified data for aircraft operations. The certified data is provided by devices and software applications that have a predetermined acceptable degree of accuracy. Additionally, uncertified data is received for aircraft operations and the uncertified data is provided by devices and software applications that have an undetermined degree of accuracy. A display is created of the certified data for a display device that is used by an aircraft crewmember of an aircraft. Additionally, a display is created of the uncertified data for the display device. The certified data display is overlayed with the uncertified data display on the display device to create a combined data display. The uncertified data is clearly indicated on the combined data display.
