RETROFIT VEHICLE AUXILIARY LIGHTING
A vehicle light assembly includes auxiliary lighting. The auxiliary light includes a base that may comprise a circuit board and a heat sink material. A series of auxiliary lights, such as LEDs, are attached to the base. A fastener extends through a mounting hole in the base to attach the base to the vehicle lighting shroud or trim. The auxiliary lights may be in an annular array, typically called a halo, or in numerous other linear or geometric shapes.
Motor vehicle lighting and/or signalling device
An optical module for a motor vehicle lighting and/or signaling device, having an optical deflection element, a support to which the optical deflection element is fixed, the support comprises adapter fixing means capable of fixing an adapter to which a light source is fixed, and wherein the first optical deflection element comprises adapter indexing means arranged so as to be capable of positioning this adapter relative to the first optical deflection element on two separate intersecting axes.
Lamp
A lamp includes a projection lens, a light source disposed behind the projection lens, a lens holder that holds the projection lens, and a lamp body that holds the lens holder while accommodating the light source. In particular, a front surface of the projection lens includes a central region configured by a convex curved surface and a peripheral region around the central region which is configured by an annular concave curved surface, the lens holder is formed in a cylindrical shape and an annular flange portion extending towards an inner peripheral side is formed at a front end of the lens holder, an annular step portion is formed at an outer peripheral edge of the peripheral region on the front surface of the projection lens, and the projection lens is fixed to the annular flange portion of the lens holder at a step surface of the annular step portion.
Lamp
In various embodiments, a lamp is provided. The lamp may include a mounting board; at least one semiconductor light source arrangement arranged on the mounting board and comprising a base, which is provided with base contacts for supplying energy to the at least one semiconductor light source arrangement and which is compatible with a standardized incandescent lamp base; and at least one insulation displacement contact to make electrical contact with the at least one semiconductor light source arrangement.
Pivoting mounting of a lighting module for motor vehicles
The present invention concerns a lighting and/or signalling device including at least one lighting and/or signalling module. The module including at least one light source, a heatsink thermally coupled to the light source or sources to cool it or them, and optical means adapted to deflect the light rays from the light source or sources to form a light beam along an optical axis of the module. The module is pivotably mounted on a support of the device via its heatsink.
Motor vehicle lighting device component comprising a bearing element and a damper
A vehicle lighting device component that comprises a component body having at least one fastening means for fastening the component. The device has a bearing element secured to the body that is separate from the fastening means, and comprises a bearing surface. The vehicle lighting device component is intended to bear against the bearing surface when it is fastened. The bearing element and the body are designed such that the bearing surface is able to move with respect to the body. The device also comprises a damper that is able to damp a movement of the body to move it toward or away from the bearing surface.
Method of operating a headlight having a laser light source in a motor vehicle
A method is provided for operating a headlight having a laser light source in a motor vehicle. The headlight generates a light distribution from the light of the laser light source. The laser light source is activated such that the operating power of the laser light source is switched from a first power value to a deactivated operating state or is lowered to a second power value when the speed of the motor vehicle falls below a first speed threshold. The operating power of the laser light source is increased from the deactivated operating state or from the second power value to the first power value, when the speed of the motor vehicle exceeds a second speed threshold, which is greater than or equal to the first speed threshold.
Vehicular lamp
Vehicular lamp furnished with: a first light source emitting blue laser light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 450 nm to 470 nm; a second light source emitting green laser light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 510 nm to 550 nm; a third light source emitting red laser light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 630 nm to 650 nm; a phosphor that by being excited by a portion of the blue laser light emitted by the first light source or of the green laser light emitted by the second light source emits excitation light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 580 nm to 600 nm; and a light condensing unit for collecting the blue, green, and red laser light, and the excitation light, to generate white light.
OLED diode support with elastic connection blades
The invention deals with a support for light source(s) for a light module, notably for a motor vehicle, comprising a substrate; at least one surface light source of the organic light-emitting diode type supported by the substrate, the at least one surface light source comprising, at one or more edges, at least two electrical contact zones; electrical tracks deposited on the substrate; and electrical contacts between the electrical contact zones of the light source or sources and the electrical tracks. The electrical contacts comprise elastic blades, in contact under pressure with the contact zone or zones of the surface light source or sources and with the electrical tracks on the substrate.
LED support with wire-bonded electrical connection for a lighting module of a motor vehicle and electrical connector by wire-bonding
A support for light source(s) for a lighting and/or light signaling module for a motor vehicle, comprising a substrate of thermally conductive material, preferentially of metallic material, at least one light source of the light-emitting or laser diode type with a face for mounting on the substrate, in thermal contact therewith and an electrical power supply circuit for the light source or sources. The power supply circuit is linked electrically with the light source or sources by means of metal wires soldered on the surface by the technology commonly referred to by the expression “wire bonding”. The measures of the invention make it possible to define at least one reception plane for the light sources oriented in such a way as to avoid having components in the vicinity of the light sources casting shadows thereon.
