GAS STORAGE DEVICES
The invention relates to a device (10) for dispensing oxygen (30) under pressure. The device comprises a canister (12) filled with activated carbon (14) and oxygen (30) at a pressure of between 4 and 20 barg, when measured at room temperature. The canister is sealed with a valve assembly (18) allowing release of oxygen from the canister on actuation of the valve assembly. To ensure the activated carbon does not react with the oxygen generating carbon monoxide the device further comprises a catalyst (16) that prevents or significantly reduces the presence of carbon monoxide. In a further aspect there is a device (10) for dispensing a gas (30) under pressure which device comprises a canister (12) with a volume of 1 I or less filled with activated carbon (14) to adsorb the gas under a pressure of between 4 and 20 barg when measured at room temperature. The canister (12) is sealed with a valve assembly (18) crimped to the canister over a seal allowing release of the gas (30) from the canister on actuation of the valve assembly, wherein the gas is carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen or air, and the canister is a steel canister. In a particularly favoured embodiment the device is filled with carbon dioxide and includes a high volume discharge valve making it useful as a pet behaviour correction device.
Formulation and dispenser systems for beverage foam toppings
Formulation and dispenser systems create dairy based toppings for beverages. The dispensers include a container, valve, and an actuator for the valve. The formulations include a liquid product and a propellant. The liquid product includes a certain percentage of milkfat provided, for example, by heavy cream, skim milk, nonfat dry milk, sweeteners, and an emulsifier. The propellant is nitrous oxide or nitrogen.
Paint dispensing method and apparatus
A fluid dispensing apparatus may be used to dispense a fluid from a container that is under pressure and that has a pierceable membrane. The fluid dispensing apparatus may include a valve body having a bore, an adaptor having a bore and a piercing member, and a nozzle having a bore. The fluid dispensing apparatus may be operable to pierce the pierceable membrane to communicate the fluid within the container with the adaptor bore and with the valve body bore. The nozzle may be operable to permit the fluid to flow under the pressure out of the container, through the adaptor bore, through the valve body bore and through the nozzle bore to ambient.
WHIPPED FORMULATIONS
The present disclosure relates to, inter alia, a formulation in a package. The formulation comprises one or more active agents and is co-mingled with a whipping agent prior to being filled under pressure into the package. The whipping agent is added in sufficient amounts to be dispersed in the formulation. The pressurized package is under sufficient pressure suitable to maintain the whipping agent dispersed in the formulation; and the pressurized package is under sufficient pressure to expel the formulation as a whipped formulation upon application of external force on the formulation in the package.
Sprayer apparatus for an aerosol spray can
A sprayer apparatus for dispensing fluid from an aerosol spray can includes a tube which is couplable to a valve stem of the aerosol spray can. A spray can valve actuator is coupled to the tube and couplable to the spray can. The spray can valve is operable to depress the valve stem to fluidly couple a chamber of the aerosol spray can and the tube. A dispenser gun is attached to the tube and is operable to release the fluid supplied through the tube.
Fluid dispensing method and apparatus
A fluid storage system includes a container defining an interior space that lacks an internal valve. A product and a propellant are stored under pressure within the interior space. A container cap includes a membrane that encloses a space defined by a coupling element, which includes a releasable fastener that releasably couples a fluid dispensing apparatus to the container. The container cap also includes a dip tube comprising a proximate end that extends at least partially into the space defined by the coupling element, and a distal end that protrudes from the space in a direction generally away from the container cap, into the interior space defined by the container. The dip tube defines an interior passage extending between the proximate end and the distal end through which the product is to be expelled from the container by the propellant.
WHIPPED FORMULATIONS WITH DESIRED SENSORY IMPACT
The present disclosure relates to, inter alia, a method of making a whipped formulation and the formulation. The method comprises: selecting an amount of a gas propellant co-mingled with one or more active agents. The gas propellant is dispersed in the formulation, and the formulation is filled under pressure into a package, which may be pressurized. The package has a selected amount of pressure (pre-gas or cut-bag pressure). The pressure maintains the gas propellant dispersed in the formulation and the pressurized package is under sufficient pressure such that the formulation may be expelled as a whipped formulation upon application of external force on said formulation in said package. The whipped formulation is characterized by providing a desired sensory impact to a user.
Dispensing head for an aerosol container and an aerosol container comprising such a head
The present invention relates to a dispensing head for dispensing a metered dose of product comprising a housing which comprises a mounting assembly for mounting to a flange of an aerosol container, wherein a valve body is arranged inside the housing, with a charging system extending from the lower end of the valve body for connecting with the aerosol container valve, wherein a stem block is movably mounted in the valve body, with a head stem extending from the upper end of the stem block and passing through an opening in the top wall of the housing, wherein at least one charging opening is arranged in the central region of the valve body, wherein a dispensing container is arranged around and hermetically connected to the valve body, the dispensing container provided with resilient means for compressing the dispensing container, wherein the dispensing container is arranged in a limiting container.
AEROSOL TANK VALVE JOINT DEVICE AND AEROSOL TANK
An aerosol tank valve joint device and an aerosol tank. The aerosol tank valve joint device comprises a base, a knob, an elastic arm, and a joint. The elastic arm is provided on the base, the joint is provided on the elastic arm, the knob is axially positioned and is rotatably provided on the base in the circumferential direction, and an abutting block is provided on the side of the knob close to the joint. When the knob rotates in the circumferential direction, the abutting block can be driven to be close to and push the joint, or the abutting block can be driven to be away from the joint, such that the joint is reset under the elastic force effect of the elastic arm. The aerosol tank valve joint device of the present application can avoid leakage caused by mistaken touch of the valve during assembly, and has the advantages of being simple in structure and easy to assemble.
