METHOD FOR IMPROVING SOIL
20190023985 · 2019-01-24 · ·

The present invention is a method for improving soil, wherein a lignin decomposition product having an aldehyde yield by alkaline nitrobenzene oxidation of 5% by mass or more, a weight average molecular weight of 300 or more and 100,000 or less, and a contact angle with water is 15 or more is supplied to soil.

NON-NEMATICIDAL COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF

A non-nematicidal composition comprises at least one glucan and/or at least one fucan which act individually or synergistically with mannitol to reduce losses in crop yield and marketable grade caused by the infestation of growth media with plant pathogenic nematodes, to levels equivalent to those achieved with commercial nematicides, but without posing a risk to the ecosystem or user. In some cases the composition comprises at least one glucan, at least one fucan and at least one mannitol which may be in a weight/weight ratio of approximately 1:2:3 of at least one glucan:at least one fucan:at least one mannitol or between approximately 1:1:1 to 1:1:3 of at least one glucan:at least one fucan:at least one mannitol.

BIO-STIMULANT AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
20190021339 · 2019-01-24 ·

A method of producing an environmental bio-stimulant, the method comprising: preparing an aqueous mixture comprising a starting material including at least one microorganism, a first carbohydrate and water; placing the aqueous mixture in a microorganism growth environment for a first time interval; adding a second carbohydrate to the mixture; placing the mixture in a fermentation environment for a second time interval so as to produce the bio-stimulant. The method may include the further step of adding a carrier to the bio-stimulant. The carrier may be chosen from a group comprising water, zeolite, biochar, woodchips, or diatomaceous earth. The one or more microorganisms include a diverse plurality of groups of microorganisms.

NON-AQUEOUS, NON-OIL LIVE MICROBIAL COMPOSITIONS

The present invention is directed to non-aqueous, non-oil liquid compositions comprising live microbial organisms and a liquid carrier. The present invention is further directed methods of controlling pests comprising applying an effective amount of a non-aqueous, non-oil liquid composition comprising live microbial organisms and a liquid carrier to an area in need of pest control.
