Woven plastic bags with features that reduce leakage, breakage and infestations
A woven laminated plastic bag having features that further prevent leakage of contents out of the bag, or infestation of organisms into the contents of the bag is provided. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.
POLYMERIC FILMS AND BAGS
The present invention is directed to a method of incrementally stretching polymeric film formed from a blown film extrusion process. The present invention is further directed to a polymeric bag formed from an incrementally stretched polymeric film. The incremental stretching is performed on a collapsed polymeric bubble via a pair of intermeshing rollers. The incrementally stretched polymeric film may be stretched only along a portion of its width. The polymeric bag may be a drawstring trash bag with an extended hem where only the extended hem of the bag or the body of the bag comprises incrementally stretched polymeric film.
Gusset bag, spout-attached gusset bag, and method of manufacturing the same
A gusset bag (10), having a pair of flat surface portions (11, 11) facing each other and a pair of side surface portions (12, 12) facing each other which are folded toward the inside, has a side edge sealing portion (13) in which the flat surface portion and the side surface portion are heat-sealed together at side edge portions thereof, and a folded-back portion (13c) in which all or a part of the side edge sealing portion in the width direction is folded back toward the flat surface portion or the side surface portion. The gusset bag and a spout-attached gusset bag (1) using the gusset bag have an excellent self-standing property, and causes one's hand to feel little pain even when being squeezed.
Cushioning air bag with predetermined opening in air cylinder turning zone and manufacturing thereof
A method for making a cushioning air bag with a predetermined opening in an air cylinder turning zone, including: providing an air cylinder sheet; adhering the two sheets of outer film to form turning points; determining a turning middle line on the air cylinder sheet; configuring nodes on two respective sides of the turning middle line; turning the air cylinder sheet along the turning middle line; and adhering two sides of the turned air cylinder sheet with lateral heat sealing lines; wherein two lateral sides of the air cylinder sheet between nodes and the turning middle line form a non-heat sealing section; a bottom surface is formed between turning points, the non-heat sealing section of the turning zone is expanded to form a lateral polygonal opening, and a supporting surface is formed on a bottom of the opening, after the air cylinder sheet is filled with air.
Preservative composition and solution
A preservative composition includes a source of ascorbate or erythorbate ions, or a mixture thereof, a source of calcium ions and one or more food grade sequestrants, wherein the molar ratio of ascorbate or erythorbate ions, or a mixture thereof, to calcium ions is of from 0.5:1 to 1.4:1.
Containers for Fluids with Composite Agile Walls
The disclosure is directed to sampling bags having flexible walls. The sampling bags may have agile walls that include a shape memory component. The shape memory component tends to return the sampling bag to its initial shape. Such sampling bags may be used in a variety of sampling methods.

The present invention is further directed to a polymeric bag formed from an incrementally stretched polymeric film. The incremental stretching is performed on a collapsed polymeric bubble via a pair of intermeshing rollers. The polymeric bag may be a drawstring trash bag with an extended hem where only the extended hem of the polymeric bag comprises incrementally stretched polymeric film.
Produce container
An embodiment includes a bag comprising mesh and film side walls and a reinforcing strip of film; wherein (a) the mesh side wall is sealed to opposing side edges of the film side wall; (b) the reinforcing strip of film is sealed to an upper portion of the mesh side wall and to the opposing side edges of the film side wall; (c) the film side wall has a bottom extension, which is monolithic with the film side wall, extending upwardly and sealed along a lateral extent of a bottom portion of the mesh side wall; (d) the film side wall is non-coplanar with a portion of the bottom extension; (e) another portion of the bottom extension is non-coplanar with the mesh side wall; and (f) a horizontal axis intersects the bottom portion of the film side wall and three portions of the bottom extension.
Film bag
A film bag has a pair of longitudinally extending film face panels having longitudinal edges and first and second folded film gussets having longitudinal edges welded at longitudinal seams to respective longitudinal edges of the face panels and formed with two spaced throughgoing cuts forming a handle loop. A separate film inner liner panel lies against an inner face of the first gusset, extends a full transverse width of the first gusset, and is fixed at the longitudinal welds of the first gusset to the front panels so that the liner prevents leakage from the bag through the cuts.
Closure device and soft packaging container
Provided is a closure device for closing a soft packaging container, the closure device including a holding section configured to hold a soft packaging container, a dispense section configured to dispense contents of the soft packaging container, a closure section configured to close the soft packaging container, and a control section configured to control timing for closing the soft packaging container by the closure section. The control section may include an acquisition section configured to acquire time information related to timing for closing the soft packaging container. Provided is a soft packaging container for accommodating contents, the soft packaging container including a main region for accommodating the contents, and an extension region provided by being extended from the main region.
