Turbulent mixing by microscopic self-assembled spinners
A system for mixing particles that includes a liquid comprising inert particles and defining a liquid and air interface; magnetic microparticles suspended at the liquid and air interface; and a magnetic source configured to apply a uniaxial alternating magnetic field parallel to the liquid and air interface, wherein the uniaxial alternating magnetic field promotes a turbulent motion of the magnetic microparticles, which in turn promotes a diffusive motion of the inert particles.

A mix tank (60) is also provided having a liquid supply inlet (62), a recirculation inlet (64), and a solution outlet (66). A mix pump (40) that is in fluid communication with the solution outlet (66), the powder outlet (22), and the recirculation inlet (64) operates to mix and transfer the solution.
Isolatable automatic drug compounding system
A low-cost drug compounding system that can practically fit inside of a fume hood or the like is provided. The system can use a single pump operable in forward and reverse directions (or multiple pumps) to compound complex mixtures particularly including those requiring the creation of solutions from dry or powdered ingredients. A wireless link allows operation of the system remotely. In one embodiment, the system uses a disposable mixing tube set that can be discarded after mixing while still attached to the base ingredient containers used for the compounding thereby minimize the chance of personnel exposure.

The mobile unit comprises a water storage tank, at least one cement mixing barrel for mixing a cement slurry, a progressive cavity pump for pumping the cement slurry, and a hydraulic hose for connecting to a hydraulic power source to provide power to the cement mixing barrel and the progressive cavity pump. The mobile unit may also contain downhole tools needed for well abandonment, including a well cleaning tool, a cementing tool, a hydraulic packer, and more.
FRACTURING FLUID MIXING EQUIPMENT
The present disclosure provides a fracturing fluid mixing equipment including a clear water supply system, at least two mixing systems, at least one powder tank, at least two powder conveying systems, a mixing tank, a feeding system and a power system. The clear water supply system has two parallel water supply paths which are connected to the mixing system and the mixing tank respectively. The powder conveying system is connected to the powder tank. There are same number of powder conveying systems and mixing systems which are connected in one-to-one correspondence. The mixing system is connected into the mixing tank. The feeding system adds powder by pneumatic conveying. The power system provides driving force by pure electric power and/or electro-hydraulic power. According to present disclosure, the power system can reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The feeding system can be compatible with various adding conditions of powders in different packaging, which can reduce the possibility of dust pollution, thereby reducing labor costs and occupational injuries and being more efficient and environmentally friendly.
SHOTCRETE NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
A shotcrete nozzle assembly comprising: a tubular body including a body sidewall defining a central passageway extending along a central longitudinal passageway axis, and water dispensing bores extending through the body sidewall and including: first and second sets of water dispensing bores positioned such that outlet openings thereof defined in an inner face of the body sidewall are disposed in a respective one of longitudinally spaced-apart first and second transversal planes extending perpendicularly to the passageway axis, at least some of the water dispensing bores being oriented such that the central bore axes thereof extend in a non-radial direction relative to the passageway axis, and such that an orthogonal projection of the central bore axes of the first and second sets of water dispensing bores onto one of the transversal planes forms first and second projected central bore axes which intersect each other at a first non-zero angle.
Traction drive fluid
The invention describes a traction drive fluid that comprising a carrier and a particulate solid. The carrier has a boiling point of greater than at least about 100° C., and a melting point of below about 10° C., both being measured at 1 atm pressure. The particulate solid consists of a plurality of laminae. The laminae are homogeneously distributed through the carrier.

The invention further relates to a process for the continuous production of a particulate adsorption product using such apparatus.
Precise modifying method for fine particle dispersion liquid
A method for modifying a fine particle dispersion liquid with which dispersibility and dispersion stability can be improved includes performing filtration to remove impurities in a dispersion liquid using a dispersion liquid modifying device provided with a removal unit that uses a filtration membrane. The quantity of impurities is reduced from a first region until said quantity reaches a second pH-dependent region. In the second pH-dependent region, the dispersibility of the fine particles in the dispersion liquid is in a range in which the dispersibility depends more on a change in dispersion liquid pH than on a change in the quantity of impurities in the dispersion liquid. With the quantity of impurities reduced to the second pH-dependent region, the dispersibility of the fine particles is controlled by adjusting the pH of the fine particle dispersion liquid.
